Wow is she supposed to say the Jurors names allowed in court while it's being aired on TV? and Why did she tell the alternates that they are free to speak with the press etc... what if they need one of the alts back if a juror gets ill etc??

So are we taking bets on how long this is going to take?

I think they'll be back sometime today or tomorrow.

Stark had to leave for Vegas. I just don't get letting the alternates go. Also I thought saying their names was just not done. But then again, look at the judge.

tess - I'm new at all this.....but I think once the jury begins to deliberate - no changes or additions can be made.

I think the jury will be out for days on this one because I don't believe the will all agree on everything. Also hung juries are usually out for a while because the judge will ask them to go back and try to work it out.

Summer i don't think that's right. If you remember the Scott Peterson trial, there were two jurors replaced once the deliberations began. that is what the alternates are for. Also for the Tammy Smith trial, judge instructed alternates, that they were not to talk with anyone in case they were needed,

Now how will we know when they have a verdict?

We will hear it on the news or IS or online. There will probably be enough notice to get online or on IS to watch the verdict read.

I can see that too, angiefly2. This judge will practically force the jury to go back and make them come to a verdict. If he's convicted it'll be of manslaughter but I think it'll more likely be hung or NG.

art tart, he was such a jerk about that. He basically said she lied because she didn't want to be alone. I didn't like that at all. That was just brutal and uncalled for. Just say she's indenial or something, not imply she's a liar. :/

tess - would trust what you know. I'm a total newbie. When the judge gave them the certificate (I only had audio on then) I thought she sent them home ..and said they were to be notified by phone of the verdict.
I promise to not use this trial as an example of how all trials go.

my cnn has inside of court room. Adam and Seth standing there. Do they have to wait inside the courtroom til a verdict?

LOL that would be a wise thing Summer. This trial was certainly an anomoly, but then again, it seems that all florida trials have issues.

There is a twitter feed on RC's main page, and I believe any verdict that is returned will be reported there.

imo, I am not impressed w/the male prosecutor. He stammers to much to me, watching his closing he repeatedly said: "they did the best they could," referring to the emergency responder's, ems/fireman," but, did LE do the best they could? Could they have possibly done worse if they tried?

too, referring to Dr. Hymi, imo, I just didn't like Dr. Hymi nor was impressed with hi, his work ethic, having to be prodded to just get the cause of death on a body he didn't autopsy.

Seth's face is a little fuller than Adam's. They both have that strong jawline. Seth is very well spoken.

I'm hoping to do this same thing (court on CNN live and RC pages with all of you again soon)...but my heart is heavy....kaboom!! Think that might not be until the Drew Peterson case.

All I did was set the record straight.

I am impressed that Seth taught Special Ed, I work in the school system in Special Education. Not many men prefer to work w/those children. I wish more men worked in the school system, something the system needs, more male role models for children, so many children from one parent homes.

Well, I like Seth and Raquel. They seem genuine and down to earth and real. I totally get that the emotions were real in court. I know that some felt it was put on, but I never had that feeling. what a nightmare for this family. They do seem like a very close and strong family though

I like them too. I like that Raquel is stepping up to help with the kids.

Embrel, we can agree to disagree, he didn't have to call Frida a Liar, he inferred it. She too ask "are you calling me a liar?" You don't have to say the word liar. Frida was removed from the Court Room.

Clearly, you would like to see Adam convicted.

imo, the State has not proven their case, the investigation was beyond sloppy.

Our opinions probably skew our interpretation of the information being presented.

Lina's children are lucky to have so many that love them, stepping up to support them in every way. I assume, if Adam is convicted the children will live with Seth & Rachuel?

I don't know Art but I presume that would be a viable alternative. I just don't see Adam doing this. Again, I cannot explain the injuries to the neck, but there was no fx of the hyoid as there would most likely be with a strangulation. I just don't remember extensive testimony on the severity of the injuries going all the way from front to the spinal column. I think the prosecution was using a little poetic license there. I have faith that no matter how many times the P said there was a complete investigation.....there wasn't.
