Only those who are ordered to stay off/out of the media - and the court's order is only good if the person lives in Arizona.

Clancy lives in Utah. She'd probably follow the orders anyhow - just saying.

I don't think JA is any different then that kid that just got sentenced to life in Ohio for the school shooting, TJ Lane... Plead guilty and when sentenced the other day smirked and flipped off the families... He knows EXACTLY who and what he is, he may be an asshole but he was being true to himself and everyone else... JA is the same monster except she values her freedom where he didn't care... She is throwing anything at the wall to try and save her skin...

I also can't seem to wrap my mind around the fact that the defenses lead expert spent days on the stand trying to explain her actions after the fact. Shouldn't they of had someone up FIRST to try and explain what factors could of caused her to go an extreme amount of miles out of her way for a short visit with a man she now claims had treated her so horribly?

Carla she was just a moth drawn to the flame ... it knows its gonna hurt but does it anyway!! She was a professional victim... the only thing she ever knew was abuse therefore the abuse she suffered from TA was normal and it meant he loved her... they just haven't worked that one in yet!! barf

The defence ~~liars~~ I mean lawyers will use that in closing, then it just became to much and she did what she had to do to defend herself and live.. barf

I guess that I am jaded .... they know that it was premeditated but their JOB is to save her.. so they will use as many smoke and mirrors as they can.

Fact is the brain was mush..lets say we just disregard the ME's opinion the bullet came last and believe for a second her story..It IS possible a person shot in the head by a small caliber bullet could continue to walk; talk and wrestle around as she claims..it IS possible that during that struggle she maniged to stand up and saw the knife he had used to cut the rope on a counter in that bathroom and it IS possible she used that knife to stab him all them times in fear for her life before he fell to the ground due to the blood loss the heart stab would of caused.
What is impossible however is the slit throat..it was a clean cut..which means he was not struggling when it occurred.There flat out is no reasonable explanation for that one and this is the main reason for the fog.Travis was down at the end of that hallway when she slit his throat..the picture is definite proof of that and there is NOTHING that could of ever been said to explain that away.

The gun:
I have heard it said the .25 caliber was once a popular gun... way back in the 1940s. Probably about the time JA's grandfather was a kid! It is not impossible to buy one today but you have to really look. Not a popular gun and hasn't been for a few decades.

yeah I have heard alot of people calling it a mouse killer actually and some say it's ok for shooting pesky squirrels off bird feeders but wouldn't have such for home security or self protection.

yes but Oliver it really doesn't matter how it actually happened the fact is she admitted on the stand during cross examination of making a conscious choice to run into the closet rather than out the door. In that split second she had a choice (doesn't matter wether true or not) In her STORY she admits to of made a choice..the choice to fight or flee..THAT is premeditation in this country.

your crackin me up too much today..I tried the ole copy n paste technique..got 2 sites to pop up and couldnt get into either one so I give up..but from what you posted about it I am gonna bet the judge realized during Juans quick evisceration of him that Samuels was no expert and did what was required to prevent the entire trial being derailed because of it. I dunno how the appeal process works to much..I know they can file due to inefective council but what about moronic experts?

I know JA did because she is the defendant and has a legal right to representation on her testimony, but Lisa Andrews did not (to my knowledge) get to review the questions prior to Judge S reading them to her. She was just a witness.

i've heard this a couple times... If Dr. S was suppose to evaluate her wouldn't that be tell me your story, take these tests and that be it? Why continue to see her if not providing therapy or like JM said did you start to like her? If the defendant wants to lie and not help herself then that's on her, you provided her the means and she chose not to make the best of it... Doesn't mean keep seeing and billing for it... Non-bias evaluation not a savior...

So you mean that choosing right or left could change from second degree murder to first ? This doesn't appear a true premedition like it would be if she had prepaired the murder with gas cans, gun and so on. If I understand well, dteam is seeking voluntary manslaughter when JM as to choose one of those two scenarios (gas cans or right/left) to seek first degree.
