Kyron Horman -- Missing 6/4/10 #3

I just read about a Todd Ewalt, from West Hanover Twp, Pa, who was the No. 1 suspect in the murder of his wife, Darlene, on the family's outside deck in the summer of 2007. Todd was the No. 1 suspect because he was a family member and was the last known person to see the victim. Todd was told by the Pa. State Police that he had failed a polygraph. It was later determined that Darlene Ewalt was murdered by a long-distance truck driver who would pull off the interstates and look for easy victims, i.e., a woman sitting on her deck, houses with outside doors, etc.

The supposedly failed polygraph really piqued my interest. Do the police tell suspects they failed whether they did or not? Is that what makes it an investigative took, that the police can coerce confessions out of suspects? Because they're not admissible in court, polygraphs don't get the court attention that other potential suppression matters get.

I just don't believe in polygraphs at all.

Kaine Horman drops contempt of court motion against Terri Moulton Horman

Kaine Horman has voluntarily agreed to drop his motion to find his estranged wife in contempt of court stemming from the alleged sharing of a sealed restraining order.

A Sept. 21 hearing had been set on Kaine Horman's motion, which will now be cancelled.

Court records do not explain why he's dropping the motion, but Kaine Horman and his estranged wife, Terri Moulton Horman, are set to meet in Multnomah County Circuit Court on Oct. 7 to argue over two other pending motions.

That is interesting. Possible reasons.....hmmm...

A. Not worth the money and time to pursue the motion

B. Terri wasn't in contempt after all

C. Michael Cook was a plant

Piper, I don't think Michael Cook was a plant. I think he really was a former friend of Kaine's, and wanted to lend his help in any way he could. Kaine, in his weird ways, didn't have anything to do with Michael, but Terri was friendly with him, thinking he was a friend of her husband's and really wanted to help.

As for the comtempt charge, this was initiated by Kaine, not LE, and was stupid, just like the Restraining Order. This was just more of the D & K bullshit.

How do you interpet the Grand Jury suspending itself?

IMHO: who ever made up the GJ, determined there was nothing to lead them to suspect Terri of having anything to do with the disappearance of Kyron, so they suspended any more sessions, until LE can bring some REAL proof.

K & D will appear on Oprah's show on Thursday, the 16th.

The same day the school held a science fair in which he was last seen standing proudly in front of his "The Red Eyed Tree Frog" project. He was last seen by a student at 9:00am. PORTLAND, Ore. -- Investigators on the case of missing Portland boy Kyron Horman said Wednesday they have decided to pursue a course to support a conclusion and that their focus was being intensified, shifting the case to a task force-style investigation.

Multnomah County Sheriff Dan Staton said they would be moving to a task-force, more like a "business plan," to better utilize resources in the case and release some in order to maintain the effectiveness of the department, in a news conference Wednesday afternoon.

Staton said there had been "significant movements" in the 15-week investigation and there was a more definitive scope, allowing them to not be as broad in their efforts. He said he had seen no evidence that indicated Kyron was not alive.

I googled the lasted on the Kyron Horman case becasue I heard a snipette of the Sheriff talking about the Case this afternoon while on a short drive. In goggling the case I ran across more than a few people who also have a gut feeling that the case is turning into a witch hunt rather than a police investigation and even worse that the public portrayal of the case so far may gloss over a major conspiracy to protect the school system when there may already have been a confession by a teacher working at the school. The clue comes form the Suave Island police divers episode earlier in the case after the massive man hunt. It was not Terri Harman who called 911 but rather a school that was in all out panic mode. Why should the school be getting hysterical or in panic mode? Obviously because they know something or have something to hide. One of the staff people at that school had a definite affinity for boys wearing glasses because almost all the boys in the school photos were shown wearing glasses and few if any of the girls in the pictures. That slide show was later removed from the school site after people pointed it out to the public! The fact of the mater is that police routines don't usually go out diving at a pin point location on or near a specific spot like sauvies island without a bit of evidence or something like a confession . May be a tip? Willamette week put it down as a cell phone ping that somehow connected Terri Horman but then no body was recovered at least from the dive team being watched and photographed by the local media. meanwhile further down river another dive team may have found the body and disposed of it it to clean up the case and redirect the motive to the weirdo step mother who already the who done it mystery arm chair tv watchers had made into their prime fantasy suspect. Talk about a possible frame job by police!

The public has very little about the million dollar police investigation to date except for media speculation gone a bit wild or real police investigation leaks that are intentional and /or unintentional? The parents and police suggest they know kyron is still alive and waiting to be rescued or is this an other fantasy or an other dimension to an everlasting cover up?. Go back online to see the original lost kyron horman time line. There you will see that the school probably did know that kyron was missing because someone there was the last person to see Kryon and not the step mother? The step mother called the school to find out what happened to kyron when the bus did not bring him home and she went into panic mode after the school reported to her that the child was never seen there or had been seen there only early in the morning. The school seems to have know more than they have been saying because if the police investigation suggests Terri drove Kyron away from the school after photographing him there with his science fair project display then they would not have gone into panic mode calling 911. The school staff people and teachers might well know more about what happened and don't want a word of it reported ...nor does the school district. Once the cover up started it then only got more preverse....so it could never be undone which is why kyron if found would need to be disposed of.

The interview was recorded Wednesday in Chicago and airs at 4 p.m. today on KGW Newschannel 8.

Oprah is in her 25th and last season. She is followed daily by millions of viewers, arguably the most watched TV talk show in the entire nation.

The segment with Kaine and Desiree begins with Oprah asking pointed questions about the boy's disappearance as well as the direct involvement that they believe Kaine's estranged wife, Terri Moulton Horman, had in what is now a criminal investigation.

I hate to even admit this. But I will. I have been so sick of hearing from Desiree and Kaine that for the last month or so I don't even click on the links anymore. It's all the same $*%(!! over and over from them. I feel bad because I don't feel so much sympathy for them anymore as I should. But I just wish they'd shut up. Rather than keep Kyron's name out there, they just turn me off and I tune them out.

And this BIG announcement by LE about a task force that is "getting more specific"........... what the heck? They've been specific since day #1 and that's one of the problems with the case. Nothing new. No bombshells. Nothing interesting. Nada. Zip. Zero.

(We would think about this afterwards, we would be surprised, they know things they wish they didn't know, there could be other cases and that other government agencies would need to be notified)

Terri noticed strange behavoir of Kyron, about 2 weeks prior to his disappearance (?). Someone at the school may have been drugging him over a period of time.

Since Terri spent the most time with Kyron, she would be the one to notice the changes. Desiree wouldn't see these changes as they would have occured during the school week when Kyron was at Kaine's house. Kaine, would have about the same reaction- as he was not a witness to this odd behaviour, he was at work.

Kaine having the same reaction as it was all in Terri's head, and Kyron didn't have an issue.

Once it came to the school's attention Kyron had a Dr. appt and the teacher had to monitor him, which I'm sure Ms. Porter shared with staff- he disappeared.

Allegedly, Terri had the discussion on Thursday about the Dr. appointment. I do not remember the source of that statement, I want to say it came from Terri's camp early in the investigation. I will try and locate it later on today.

The Dr. had to be aware of Terri's allegations of seizures, becaue Terri supposedly gave Ms. Porter documentation she was supposed to fill out while she monitored Kyrons behaviour at school.

Furthermore, this could be why Kyron didn't want to go back to Kaine's house and why he very well could have been peeing the bed as some suggest he was.

After all, a 7 year old possibly cannot verbalize what is happening or perhaps was threatened into silence by some perv pedophile.

They are very cunning and that's why they get away with it for so long. I think the stats show a pedophile has a victim count of approx 60 victims before they get caught. A school would be like a candy shop to a sugar addict.

I was in a good mood, now I have totally pissed myself off with the content of my post!!

I seriously hate it that children have to pay the price for our lax of morals in our society.
And our leniency on these Sexual Offenders/Predators!

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Kyron Horman was being dropped from the registry of students at Skyline Elementary.

Matt Shelby with the Portland School District confirmed the boy missing that's been missing for 15 weeks was being dropped as a current student after Monday’s final bell. It is district policy to drop a student from the enrolled students list after they have missed 10 consecutive days.

There is really no point in making a comment on this thread, as there is nothing new to say. I really think it was ridiculous to buy the new book bag and school supplies and sign Kyron up for soccer. Maybe they are just in denial, but I do not think either one of them thinks he is coming home again. That is why they had the 2 birthday parties for him. If they really thought he was coming home, they would have waited till he was here to have the parties, buy the gifts and enroll him in soccer.

Kaine does not act like he is all there, he seems weird to me, but I don't think it has anything to do with Kyron being gone. I think he has always been like this. Desiree seems like she has outclassed Kaine, or outgrown him. I'm sorry, I can't put it into words how I feel about them.

But to answer Calypso's question, I am taking time off from this site until there is some 'real' news, not just something K & D have manufactured. I am really sick of them both. They need to take a lesson from Terri, and shut the hell up.
