The State Attorney's Office just offered Cindy and George and their attorney 6 seats reserved seats in the court room..... sitting behind the prosecution. It just doesn't get any better than this...

One question I have...I've never known the general public to be privy to jury selection...I always thought that was just between defendant, their attorneys and the prosecution...of course presided over by a judge...And I hear media will be present, cameras and all...Since when did this become allowed????

When I report to "the big city" for jury duty- only those subpeonaed are there... the room is filled 250+ perspective jurors. There is no gallery for observing. Wierd. kh

I think once the media figures out where they are there will be a jillion media trucks outside and reporters waiting to pounce on anyone who emerges...... but I don't think they will be allowed in for the selection or voire dire. kh

Surely they won't allow them to be in the CR during "voir dire"...Perhaps they will be just outside the CR, awaiting for the people to exit...Then they will pounce on them with all their questions...

I don't think they will even be allowed in the courthouse. They will hover outside. kh

That's the way it was when I last had jury duty...I wonde r how they differentiate the prospective jurors from the ordinary people...We were told to remove any visual identification as such...ie..stick on tags before we left the courthouse....

The Court of Appeals denied the motion that would've forced Judge Perry to announce the jury selection location early, but said he would not be allowed to reveal the location to certain media outlets earlier than others. All media will learn the location at the same time.

I think its funny that the Anthonys must sit behind the Prosecution but, remember, the defense sits up against the wall! I have a feeling the defense will whine about that despite the fact it was their whining about the cameras seeing everything that got them there.

OK, so that would be how that works. InSession said they would be there for the jury selection-but I can't imagine cameras will be allowed to video the jurors. Its the same as in the courtroom during trial-we won't see the jurors.

Wasn't there Mother's Day cards from Cindy to Casey that were sent to the Orange County Jail? That's probably another reason Cindy wants to try and see her this weekend. If I remember correctly, she was telling Casey what a great mother she was...blah, blah.

I know there can be no pictures released or videos of potential jurors and obviously during the trial we won't see them either.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orange County corrections officials confiscated a greeting card mailed to Casey Anthony by her mother because the envelope improperly suggested it contained confidential legal documents.

For security purposes, Orange County Jail workers routinely screen mail sent to inmates. But corrections officers are not allowed to look at letters inmates receive from their lawyers, which are generally protected by attorney-client privilege.

In May, employees in the jail's mail room intercepted an envelope addressed to Casey Anthony which was labeled "Legal Mail - Do Not Open". The type-written return address suggested the letter had been mailed from the Kissimmee office of Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez.

Corrections officials told Local 6 the envelope looked suspicious, so two officers hand-delivered the correspondence to Casey Anthony's jail cell and watched her open it.

Instead of confidential legal documents, the envelope contained a greeting card signed by Anthony's mother, Cindy. "I love you and miss you," the card stated. "You were a great mother to Caylee."
Corrections officials confiscated the contraband and returned the card to Casey Anthony's attorney, according to a jail spokesman.

Jose Baez told Local 6 the card was not sent from his office.

Cindy Anthony's attorney, Brad Conway, said he was unaware his client had sent a card to her daughter.

Two weeks after corrections officials confiscated the greeting card, Cindy Anthony mailed a letter to her daughter. The family's home address was printed on the envelope.

"So I understand the jail (thinks) I committed mail fraud," the letter states. "They must think I'm really STUPID. Why would I send you a card and put another address besides mine on it? What purpose would that serve? None!"

EXCLUSIVE: WFTV Polls Potential Jurors In Casey Case

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Most people across the state know about the Casey Anthony case and the majority thinks she is probably guilty, but WFTV did find one city that is not following the case much at all and it's not the city you might have expected.

Jose Baez tried to move Casey's trial to southeast Florida to avoid pretrial exposure, but WFTV's exclusive poll shows he should have looked in the opposite direction. WFTV found amazingly low awareness in Northwest Florida.

Fla. -- George and Cindy Anthony's attorney, Mark Lippman, said late Friday that there will not be a jailhouse meeting on Saturday between Cindy and Casey Anthony.

Lippman said Casey's attorney, Jose Baez, advised his client against the meeting.

LOL - dang kh! That's the 2nd time we've done that at exactly the same moment!!!! I woke up extra early this morning, not sure why being it's my weekend off. Just starting on my first cup of coffee. I figured that's how it would go, Baez wouldn't go for it even if Casey wanted it. Which I don't believe Casey would have anyway!

I am so ready for this trial to start! I can't stand it.
