Kronk Testimony Didn't Jive With Opening Statements, Analyst Says

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Late Tuesday, Judge Belvin Perry said he likely wouldn’t allow testimony from Casey Anthony’s ex-fiancée, Jesse Grund, along with two employees at the Orange County Jail.

Outside of the presence of the jury, the defense questioned Grund and the jail employees.

Grund spoke about a time Anthony told him she didn’t want Caylee around her brother Lee, who she told Grund had groped her at one point.

“Jesse Grund is the only one that’s accused anyone of molesting Casey Anthony,” said WESH 2 legal analyst, veteran prosecutor and defense attorney Jeff Deen.

The testimony would have maintained the defense’s theory of family issues while keeping Anthony off of the stand. The prosecution objects, saying the testimony is hearsay.

Perry indicated he likely would not allow Grund's testimony, but asked attorneys on both sides to present case law.

Kronk: Left Bones Untouched, Tried To Do "The Right Thing"

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The meter reader who found Caylee Anthony's remains testified on Tuesday that he didn't touch the bag containing Caylee's bones after he spotted it in the woods and called his supervisor, who then called police.

Tuesday marks day 41, including jury selection, of Casey's trial. Casey's accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.

Kronk DID move the bag...or the skull....or both. I'm not saying he did anything wrong...IMO, he's really dumber than a box of rocks....BUT...he did say he picked up the bag about 4 ft. He also said he picked up the skull, through the eye socket.

Also...George giving up dirt on his "friend" River Cruz or whatever her name is...is sad. He was trying to discredit her before she has a chance to get on the stand. I think he just made himself look even more stupid that he usually does.

And then there was Cindy & Lee...enough said. Sad that THIS was Caylee's family.

This was an interesting day....Lee contradicting Cindy about Dominic Casey, and then getting off the stand and going to sit beside Cindy? Weird!

Kronk...all that badgering Mason did on him, was senseless after the tapes were played that showed Mason apparently hadn't listened to the tapes or he wouldn't have tried to ask the questions he did. Kronk is no genius, but he sure came off looking more intelligent that Mason did....for example, Mason trying to say Kronk called Orange County 911 and not realizing Kronk couldn't call Orange County 911 from where Kronk was! You get your own area when you call 911...duh! And, Mason trying to suggest Kronk did this for money by calling the tip line...when the tapes show it was told to him by the dispatcher he was speaking to at first that he pretty much had to call the tip line, and Kronk protested that he didn't want to.

The defense is stumbling all over their own feet because they have not done their homework....but to the jury they probably see it as grabbing at straws.
