Agree it could be, but if they can't find out who it is or why they have done this it will give his defense what they need when he goes to court.

The police when he was arrest stated that one of the reasons they believe she was dead was because she has made no communications and she was a social person. Now we have a communication on the website, therefore it gives the defense what they need.

I don't disagree with you Snow, its just that I doubt it is someone with ulterior motives. I think it is just someone goofing around (in his/her mind) and without even trying has given the defense something to use at trial.

Chelsea Hoffman writes for Gather.com and the other person is a made up persona twitter account that has been accused of causing some trouble with fake twitter and facebook accounts-adding unnecessary drama.

Help Us Find Sierra Lamar

On numerous occasions I and other Sierra Lamar case followers have witnessed this on twitter and fb this sick person or persons comments about what he has done to her and other disturbing comments concerning her or any part of the case including Agts actions and I could go on for days. I have been sending this stuff to law enforcement since may 23. I have been called a snitch, bitch, race trader and all sorts of things when I have come into contact with him them or whomever they are! And i dont care. I am not the only one that has been sending this stuff in so I'm pretty sure the tip line has been overwhelmed with all of us and probably was already watching!
I'm glad they have called in react because it needs to stop! They are predators and as far as I'm concerned just as bad as child predators being on the net!

This is a criminal case.

Maybe they called it in and the authorization to arrest was given over the phone.

They are clearly not breaking protocol, however my main point being is that there are no public record of the facts before the court that were used to base the DA's theory of probably cause to justify Garcia's arrest.

I understand. We haven't seen any court documents other than the statements of facts and the complaint against Antolin Garcia, nothing else has been released. I guess we are going to have to wait and see what kind of evidence the prosecution is planning to use against him.

Honeysage- Interesting anatomy/analogy of Day 80. It was heart wrenching. In many ways Polly and Sierra's cases mirror each other. Mark's out cry in the parking lot was so descriptive you could almost feel his pain. His words allowed me to see much more into just how cruel and mind torturing the false hope these pranks bring to the victims families. I pray for Sierra's family that these pranks will stop!

I hope she is found soon, too. Personnally, I think her cell phone was discarded immediately, she was taken somewhere else and killed, and then her stuff was placed by the shed on the perps way back home. I am curious why LE is only searching in bodies of water. If this was a crime of opportunity, I doubt he was prepared to weigh down a body and submerge in water. I think she was dumped in a wooded area. But that is JMO.

According to Smith, based off of evidence law enforcement agencies have gathered from the suspect's vehicle and the continued belief that Sierra is not a runaway candidate, investigators do not believe Sierra is alive.

The LaMar family remains hopeful that she is.

"I'm hopeful that because her body has not been found and because certain things weren't found in the vehicle," Marlene LaMar said during the press conference.

Smith said that forensic results have linked Sierra's DNA to the suspect's vehicle, a red Volkswagon police impounded in April, though she would not say what kind of DNA was found nor where it was located on the vehicle.

MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- Volunteers who are still trying to find missing Morgan Hill teenager Sierra LaMar are having a car wash today to raise funds so they can continue searching for her.

Car wash baby!!! Last Saturday the Sierra Search Center better resembled the Sierra social center. We had 70 search volunteers sign up to find Sierra. They ate a good nutritious breakfast and set out in the rapidly warming day to see if they could finally crack this case. For all intents and purposes, it was shaping up as another routine day in the search for the missing teenage girl whose pretty, smiling face looks back at us from virtually every telephone pole and storefront window in Morgan Hill.

Father Of Suspect In Sierra LaMar Case Faces Sexual Assault Charges

GILROY (KCBS) — The father of the man charged in the disappearance of Morgan Hill teen Sierra LaMar has been ordered to stand trial on multiple sexual assault charges.

An investigator with the Santa Clara County Sexual Crimes Unit told KCBS that a judge ordered 51-year-old Genaro Garcia Fernandez to stand trial on charges he molested his daughter over a nine-year period.
