You may be right! After Darryl Brewer moved to Palm Desert, she had to follow and then agree to a mortgage on a property with him. Yet, when he moved back to Monterrey to be close to his son and his ex-wife, (the second round of the game) she failed to follow; were her interests changing because she was bored? After all, she was busy getting a new religion, new boobs, etc.. Did she see this as time to move on since she was obviously no longer the center of his attention?

IIRC, it was a woman named Marie.

Being asked about the night the tires were first slashed.

Lisa asked Travis to spend the night as she was afraid.
Other than a few bland kisses, there was no touching, no groping.

Later, at Travis' house: TA and Lisa were in the kitchen at his home. Jodi entered the house from the front door, saw them, and ran from the property.

Lisa broke up with Travis.

Travis would not kiss Lisa. Finally, Lisa told Travis to kiss her.

Reviewing emails.

Travis achieved an erection during one of the kisses.

Lisa felt Travis should have been able to control the erection.
Travis talked about sex but it was in a joking manner.

Lisa did not grab him or hang on to him in public; Jodi would hang on him in a socially inappropriate manner; Travis never screamed or yelled at her breaking up with him; Lisa had very strong feelings and sent him the email;feels her comments were very unfair to him;

I don't consider this lady a very strong witness for the defense. She is a good pros. witness. I think it was wrong for the Pros. to throw the picture up without notifying the family that this was a possibility.

Just got back from her mission, is a college student at BYU. Started there 2008.
Asked about Daniel Freeman, her brother.

Knew Travis and Jodi thru her older brother, Daniel.
Attended church activities with JA and TA with her brother and others. 2007-2008. With the four of them, a few times during the year. Larger group activities, about monthly. Took a trip where JA and TA were present.

Said TA was affectionate with TA and reverse; TA seemed very happy to be with JA; TA treated JA decently during the dating; later, when not dating, after trip to Sedona/Grand Canyon, when they broke up, they did not appear to talk, she was just in the back ground, like he didn't pay attention to her; he was a little flirtatious with others;

Grand Canyon/Sedona trip: Summer, June 2007; JA, TA and Daniel and Desiree Freeman; Sept 13-15 2007 to Havasu with just the 4 of them; TA treated JA as is they were together, dating; Sept 2007, she thought he was dating Lisa; premarital sex is not allowed; two single people not looked upon favorably if traveling together, not put self into positions of temptations;

TA claimed to be a virgin; he would joke about it; he seemed happy, proud of it;

Trip to Lake Havasu was overnight-- witness saw an argument between TA and JA during the trip; TA teased JA by pretending to drive off and leave JA, JA got angry; TA's reactions seemed "over the top", he raised his voice;
witness was "shocked" at his reaction; JA stayed quiet and stared out the window.





(Wonder if she tossed the stuff in the Grand Canyon as she mentioned to Darryl Brewer she was going there.)

Laying foundation for sexual rules in the LDS church;
no arousals accepted, discussions of sexual feelings,
trip to Lake Havasu, Grand Canyon/Sedona with only one incident where he was teasing her; before the trip to Havasu wasn't there an issue re JA's back-pack? Don't recall. First 30 minutes of trip there was no talking ? She doesn't recall. Everyone stayed in "hammock" ?? She and her brother went ahead of JA/TA because JA/TA were arguing as TA claimed JA was too clingy? Does not recall.

Issue of JA taking of pics? TA stopped the car? Yes. JA was upset because TA got to close to the edge? No recall.
He was "over the top" with the remark but she doesn't recall.

Seems odd that she was so shocked by Travis' comment and she cannot recall what it was only that it was over the top. Not very strong.

Havasu trip where he made the comment after feigning leaving her; shocking how the comment was made, not the comment;

No, Marie (Mimi) Hall was to go to Cancun. Marie was after Lisa.

Lisa was the girl Jodi flipped out over most. If she was hacking his email most likely she saw that he wanted to marry Lisa, not Jodi. And she saw how averse to sex Lisa was so Jodi used that to her benefit and sent that hellfire & damnation nastigram to her.

Defense calls Daniel Freeman to stand:
He is 29 yrs old, lives in Gilbert. Missionary in Canada in Oct 2006-08. A lot of spiritual investment in his work.

Knew TA thru PPL. Met TA, Chris Hughes, others thru a "convention". Hughes brothers had several teams and he met them there @ 2003-2004. He became a friend. Daniel thought he was cocky at first. Hooked back up in 2008 after his mission.

He met JA when he was a roommate with TA.He went to a conference in CA with TA. JA was in town. They stopped by to see her; after midnight. JA was not expecting the arrival and was surprised; JA gave TA a hug, invited them in; JA and TA were laughing in other room; he fell asleep on her couch; they were there about an hour.

He was on friendly terms at the PPL events and became good friends with JA when TA was there but in other areas; was roommate with TA @ 3-4 months; TA was with JA during that time; he is not currently with PPL; ended that in 2009;

Trips:
took 2 trips not involved with PPL;
2007 was trip to Havasu;
JA/TA and Desiree were on the trip;
JA/TA were as a couple based on how they interacted;
acted like a couple; he never mentioned her when she wasn't present; different privately than publicly;
JA would not come to events many of the others attended;

2007: acting like a couple with under currents;
flirt, tease, hold hands, intimate in conversations; not touching, kissing in public; physically expressive on trip by touching, hold hands, swimming, etc.

Undercurrents:
At start of trip, TA told him he loved JA but was unsure of marriage; TA wanted to date others; backpack-- Daniel was moving a heavy pack and found the pack to contain lotions, pills, etc.. Daniel unloaded things to lighten the pack; JA was unhappy and wanted the stuff put back; TA raised his voice not about back pack but about something else; JA started crying and went upstairs; TA went up; a lot of yelling and tears TA and JA not talking at start of trip;

Daniel did not know whether TA was dating anyone else; he did recall Lisa Andrews and many others at the house; went to eat out with Lisa and her friend and a "double" date kind of; Denny's restaurant; TA and Lisa were flirting and talking, being himself, interested in Lisa and hanging out with her;

Adjourn of jury: Judge is talking with jury to not be influenced by sympathy, etc. Jurors will now be escorted so NO REPORTERS may approach them during lunch, etc. Tells them to remove the juror's badge; media has been told NOT to approach ANY of the jurors.

It is interesting. I never bought it that Desiree didn't recall. I think she doesn't like being asked to testify on behalf of the killer and is being cagey. Evidently she liked Travis.

On the other hand, we have her brother who admits he didn't care for TA at first - thought he was cocky. HE remembers very clearly. Hmmm. What does that say about "undercurrent"? A witness who liked the deceased is vague and a witness who maybe secretly didn't like the deceased is singing like a canary.

What pills?????? What lotions???? That's what I want to know more about.

From Daniel's testimony:

Freeman testified that during the trip to Havasaupai, he witnessed another fight between Arias and Alexander. He said he saw Alexander get mad at Arias over how she packed her daypack for a hike, and he helped diffuse the situation by telling everyone to calm down.

Is it just me or does this sound like the kind of stuff people who have become intimate argue over? My ex and I used to fight over this kind of crap all the time. But prior to sex we were on best behavior with one another. It seems once people cross that threshold everything becomes much more personal and everything we do is taken much more personally. I mean, an argument over a backpack?? Seriously? And they find this shocking? Perhaps what they were seeing was the reaction of someone who has started having sex and intimate relations with someone whereas the rest of their 20-something virgin friends had not (?) just a thought.

Geez, I'd hate to see what they'd have to say about the way my ex and I used to fight.

Jodi Arias' lawyers attacked the character of murder victim Travis Alexander, calling to the stand an ex-girlfriend who said she felt cheated and lied to after they dated.

Diadoni testified she never had sexual intercourse with Alexander. Willmott then questioned Diadoni about an email she sent to Alexander on Sept. 23, 2007.

In the email, Diadoni told Alexander she did not want him to text or email her anymore. It says when they were together, they would make out "for too long" and that Diadoni felt Alexander wanted her just for her body. She felt Alexander had a lot of sexual tension, which made her feel used and dirty, the email says.

Just got home from my choir practice. I was thinking that so far the defense witnesses called to tarnish Travis' reputation are pitiful. There are not multiple occasions anyone can point too. what we get is something said to JA in the car and the backpack thing. Jeez, that doesn't point to a wild and out of control person to me.

And Freckles - thanks so much for the trial details. I'm watching the trial, but it's great to be able to read your notes afterwards, because you always mention things I had already forgotten! Much appreciated!

I heard somewhere yesterday at some point that TA was talking to 1 of his bishops to fix his transgressions. I can only watch the first half of the trial, I don't know if it was during that or the talking heads or what brought it up but I think it would be important for the jury to know that along with a lot of other things... I'm so hoping I get my computer back today using my phone is killing me...

Gus Searcy gave testimony re a phone call he had while driving his car.
When asked if there was a witness, he answered there was.
He said there was another passenger in his car who heard the conversation.
Did he have it on speaker phone? I dunno.
So the prosecutor Martinez asked him who the witness was?
Searcy did not want to give the name; defense jumped in to support Searcy not giving of name.
Judge heard the arguments; she ordered Searcy to give the name,
Prosecutor told Searcy to write the name on a paper and it would not be shared with the public;
Searcy declined; stated the person would be impacted in work place.
Prosecutor asked for the person's phone number, a witness, so the person could be called to verify what Searcy was claiming;
Searcy again declined; he appealed to the judge.
Judge ordered him to provide the info;
Searcy asked what would happen if he didn't?
Judge asked him if he was refusing;
Searcy asked if he could plead the Fifth; he kept grinning like he had a secret or it was funny or something.
(Pleading of the Fifth applies ONLY to defendants OR for witnesses who might implicate themselves in the charges related to the case.)

Judge asked him if he wanted to consult with his atty;
Searcy looked at his watch and stated his atty wouldn't be in;
(Keep in mind Searcy works for PPL and another firm, BOTH are prepaid legal with attys on hand.)

Went to sidebar.
Judge called a recess.
Court resumed with different witness on the stand.

I really hope to hear more action on this witness who REFUSED a judge's order to produce the name of a pertinent witness. Why would Searcy NOT provide the name of a witness who could collaborate his testimony?

Okay I googled it but not seeing it in court I'm trying to make sense of 2 possible scenarios... either Gus was by himself in the car and is doing this for attention so he wants to plead the fifth so heyou doesnt incriminate himself for lying... or there was somebody else from ppl in the car and theyll say he's lying about his conversation with hughs...

Who was in there car?
=Could Jodi have been in the car?
=Could it have been someone from the defendant's office?
=Could it be a gf of Searcy?
=Could Searcy be cheating on one woman with another?
=Could it be NO ONE was in the car resulting in Searcy LYING re this incident?
