I can only watch until 4 Eastern time today, so I'll miss a lot. Can't catch up tomorrow AM either---probably not until tomorrow PM.
I cannot understand why these people cannot get their act together! My gosh, they only had testimony for about an hour and a half yesterday, and they have hours and hours left for their in chamber pow wows, and STILL they can't be ready on time, and with all their ducks in a row!

This has irritated me the most about this case! Well, that and having to look at stupid touching herself, twisting in her chair, touching her lawyer and... ewww... where HAVE those hands been?
Stupid's mother, Stupid's weird friends, Stupid's friends and family having NO manners in the court, Stupid's slo-mo attorney who slumps, and the high pitched squealing, grinning one who clomps about like some old race horse. Yeah. Guess there isn't much I like about Stupid, her family, her associates. I could sum them all up in one word... stupid!
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Excellent summary!

Why IS she there now? Is this her idea? The mom's idea? Did the defense want her there?

G'ma knew what was coming. She could have left the courtroom. I don't feel sorry for anyone except the Alexander family. The rest of these people need to see what Jodi did to this man. Time for a reality check and the focus to be back where it belongs after a protracted defense fairy tale!

Not listening to Wilmot. I see from here she is going back to the old "You told Det. Flores...." routine.
Grandma looks mighty interested in all this testimony---not faint or squeemish at all. Jodi sneaks peeks at pix and fake cries, while continuing to hide behind her hair.

How's Horn standing up to Wilmot. Saw Nurmi smirk. Jodi might as well have a sign around her neck saying "boo hoo, I don't have a life anymore! I'll never get married and buy new clothes and flirt with everything in pants anymore..." Cries only for herself.

18thcenturylady wrote:tesstruhart wrote:Sassy, I've been thinking about what you said re: the 'argument' that could have resulted in this slaughter.
I believe when closings are done and over with the jury is given their instructions. In those instructions is 'beyond reasonable doubt'. Don't leave your common sense at the door. If, and that would be a BIG if, there was a fight and she killed him, why the slaughter? Why the clean-up? Why no calling 911? If I was in this position, I would be so destroyed and shaking, I would call 911 and get help asap. After 'regaining' her memory (minus the fog 10 hours), why not give the police an approximation of where she threw the gun? Where are her clothes? Where are the car floor mats? Where did she get the money to deposit into three bank accounts. For someone that worked sporadically and wasn't a CEO of anything that sure is a lot of bank accounts. The gas cans are damning. Who does that? She was a rolling bomb. There are so many things, none of which point to heat of passion stuff. Just my opinion. of course. But thanks for making me think it thru.
You are so right, Tess, and I think the evidence of premedit. is crystal clear in this case. I know for me I worry because of what happened in the CA case. BTW, unlike some out there, I totally disagree that a door was left open for speculation that George could have been involved, or any of the other crazy ideas. I watched every minute of that trial, and if you did, there is NO WAY you could have come to the conclusion this jury did. The fault was with them and not the prosecution. This case was also NOT over-charged IMO. These idiots didn't listen or connect the dots---which by the way, were were NOT that difficult to connect!
18th lady: Totally agree on that other hideous case CA- bs ABSURD defense the jury chose to make credible...with ZERO evidence.
The thing I'm now really worrying about in this case, as evidenced by all the great posts on RC...is a somewhat similar (general- the cases are totally different of course) STRATEGY by this irritating stew of misfit dteam: C-O-N-F-U-S-I-O-N. Way too much total bs to ever keep track of...
It really worries me, especially when I see all the (unrealistic, although I empathize 100% with y'all's hopes and dreams) expectations of good people/inquiring minds. No case ever going to be wrapped up perfectly with a shiny big bow...ambiguity will always be available for those in need (not talking about anyone here btw! Just generally speakin' here). I'm not sure it could be more obvious that she is a cold-blooded psycho liar that's amusing herself at the world's expense...
Back to worrying about whether this jury will have the courage (imoo) to hold her responsible: my main concern is with the dteam's success at CONFUSING this cluster#$%@! They have thrown so many evolving stories/minute, contradictory details about every single freakin' aspect of the needless slaughter of Travis...that...Gosh- I really don't even wanna say this aloud, but it's starting to feel like that might be how she could escape responsibility.
I can't answer the earlier poll about what ONE thing I'd like clarified. Tried, but just can't. Of course, like you all, I'd love to have all my curiosities satisfied. But here (in this post at least) I'm talking about real world.
I have no dog in this hunt, I'm not (although it probably does sound like it at times) the President of JM's fan club...but I thought he proved his case WAY beyond a reasonable doubt some time ago. And that opinion is based soley on evidence the jury knows of. All the extra stuff just makes my blood boil 'cause there's so dang much of it.
The confusion I'm seeing on here is what worries me. If you good people with curious minds, open hearts, great critical thinking skills and plenty of common sense are confused, God help us while we wait to see what the jury decides. I'm hopeful with some of the juror ?s, but if confusion is mistaken for reasonable doubt I'm sooooo scared for society.
I, for one...nope...I just cannot let my own confusion/desire to know how/why/what/where/when about each one of her cruel and ridiculous lies cloud what is plain as day: she planned this for quite some time, has ZERO remorse, and is a danger to society. I wanna live to see that obnoxious smirk disappear. Off all those misfits' faces for that matter.
