Amazing what a little change in "company" can do, isn't it?

I think JA was crying for a couple of reasons...she is beginning to see the writing on the wall....grandma is there and she is trying to appear human....atty's told her too. She has never even become emotional when she talks about the bludgeoning. The tears aren't even a waterworks, just a couple and the old CA trick of squeezing your nose with the tissue.

one of the jury questions was something like is there any other circumstance that would have allowed TA to do anything after the shot? Dr. H said not have the bullet go thru his brain.... i think that's pretty to the point

Grandma is there to probably get her last good-bye for her granddaughter--- someone Grandma probably cared about as she shard hr home with her. Grandma ain't no spring hen so she won't be making a lot of trips to see JA.

court has not been dismissed for the day YET..could very well occur after jury is left waiting n hour or so tho

I too am slightly dissapointed with rebuttal BUT IMO Juan was prob told to keep it as short and quick as possible..as for his friend..again I think the state had enough physical evidence to prove their case without having to exspose too many of Travis loved ones to the offensive and irrelevant questions of the defense.

Nobody is that busy. Just another desparate attempt by the dteam. Makes absolutely no sense to me to add further delays for the already fatigued jury.

IMO, JA is moving on to her next game.

right there with ya..she was not crying today..she was acting...I too saw the sick friggin glance she made to the screen to see her handiwork once again. She aint scared..she aint worried..she is confident she pulled off another one

There are no 'alternates' just yet. The deliberating jury will be determined by lottery at the end of trial.

Probably a juror that submitted a Q in the basket.....unless they drew a # out of a hat in the judge chambers and that's the # drawn....

they start with 18 jurors then basically pull the J# from a hat to see who will go back to deliberations... None of them actually have a status right now...

Agree...just seems like they will pull every single thing OMG! Just dismissed Juror #8 as I write HOLY CRAP see??? These a-holes are going down guns blazing trying every single scummy-lower-than-scum tactic to get a mistrial or lesser charge via confusion.
