I'm with ya on this one..I am only 5'2..have topped it at prob 127 pounds and nothing..I mean nothing stops me when irate with anger. I'm just a lil cray-cray..lil chica is full blown crazy... so since it is perfectly rational to believe a smaller statured woman would never use a knife first on a man when she has a gun at her disposal.. I think we need to think irrationally her and say..Yep I do believe she did.

I also think Jodi chose to use the knife when she had both because she WANTED to hurt Travis and make him suffer as much as possible. The gun---bang---he's dead---Not enough satisfaction for her anger in that. I think she was filled with so much rage she was screaming all kinds of things at him and just slashing away. She wanted to inflict as much pain, fear, and suffering as she possibly could!

TA's house was fairly new. Doors and windows probably fit nicely.
Had carpeting in most rooms. AC was probably on.Bathroom venting out.
Upstairs, door opened/closed over carpeting providing a type of seal for containing sound, odor. He was shot, murdered on the interior of the house, kind of. Walls to muffle the sounds, a closet to absorb the sounds. Then, he was placed into the shower stall, the greatest distance from his door leading to the hallway.

Roomie who WAS there was coming and going--- got himself a gf and that is all he wrote! Star struck. Not paying attention. He DID kind of notice an odor but he noticed his gf even more... When she was there with him, despite being alone in the house, they were in his bedroom with the door shut! I am thinking this is the newer roomie and he is still getting acclimated.

Does any of this work? I am surprised none of the neighbors heard anything unusual but at 5:30, many may not have gotten home fro work yet.

You all make good points in the debate about Knife vs. Gun.

I just think JA intended a much less messy death. I think she intended to shoot him in the shower and then slit his neck and stick the knife in his heart as a statement. I don't think she ever intended for him to emerge from the shower and create such a mess. Hence, probably the reason she placed him back in the shower to clean him up, leave no DNA, and because that is just where she had mentally envisioned he would be found dead.

ok I have just now found all the other awesome new threads regarding this case..have I mentioned I'm blonde?..anyhoo I finally got to read the official police report so that has really helped me with some of the factual timeline I'm trying to work on.

He was the one totally messed up on dates he said he saw Travis, interacted with Travis, could not recall his work schedule. (That's why I think of him as love-struck! lol He seems to be a bit light upstairs.)

Finally somewhere I can contribute! First off, I feel compelled to throw an insult at Jodi. While she may be able to "Jodicize" the english language, she's not smart enough to "plant" images on a camera. And I agree with Travis' assessment that a 5 year old can handle a camera better than she can...

Now for the details;

ALL digital pictures contain a "fingerprint" called EXIF data. These record the make, model, serial number, aperture, lens, focal length (zoom), resolution, camera orientation, ISO, date/time, photo settings etc... EXIF can NOT be turned off. While EXIF can be "spoofed", it is not easy. However, it is VERY EASY to detect spoofing based on algorithms (each device's algorithm is unique like a fingerprint). So in other words, you may have the same make and model of a camera, "spoof" the EXIF data, and still not pass the test because the algorithms between the two cameras are not the same. I know this to be true because I've worked at Flickr for several years and I am a "professional" photographer. I run across this often, particularly in contests where users will attempt to fake out pictures to become eligible for contests on the site. I can guarantee you that if I know this, the forensic expert knows this as well, as does Martinez. That said, I don't believe the photos to be faked or "planted". Again, she's just not that smart...

That is probably what the juror wanted to establish as there is no way a man sitting in the shower with a closed shower door between them could have sprung into action, made it to his feet, opened the shower door and body slammed her in less time than it would have taken her to see the threat and run like hell. Just doesn't work unless we are expected to believe Travis literally "power rolled" his way out of the shower from a sitting position. Not!

Furthermore, the shower door swings out into the bathroom. If Jodi were to be believed that Travis attacked her from this sitting position, how is it that the shower door did not come slamming open and hit Jodi before the body slam. After all, she was supposedly kneeling on the other side of that shower door. Duh! Sooo dumb for a smart chick who had 4 1/2 years to figure out how to make up a story that actually works.

Jury question was to have her show ON THE MAP.

Listening to her testimony w/ Det Flores, this is what got me:
Look at the amount of time and money she spent to go see Ryan, to attend a ONE hour weekly meeting of PPL!
Also, she told Flores, when she moved in April 2008, she rented the U-Haul and then stayed at Travis' for an additional 4-5 days with it parked there! Those things are NOT cheap to rent!

Again: Where was she getting ALL this money?
Some she borrowed... and PAID back ASAP.
Not like she had a good paying job, you know?

I just want to see her at some ATM AFTER Travis was dead pulling money out of his account. I know she did because she mentioned it to Det Flores--- and that means SHE was WORRIED they would find out! That is why she prefaced it with, "Travis gave me the PIN number for when he wanted me to get him money."
BINGO! That sounds like an abused MAN, not an abused JODI.

Maybe, Travis not buying lubricant was his way of saying HE was done with the crazy sex!

What I got from his testimony is this, one call started at 3:04 AM lasted approx 18 mins. Second call started at 3:21 AM and lasted approx 40 mins. I say approx as the calls are listed in seconds and Joey is rounding to mins.

Not sure I understand the question. Are you are asking how the phone call is 16 minutes? If so..

You can access and check voice mail on one phone from any phone by calling the number...waiting for the call to go to voice mail...and then punching in your PIN # or access code. You can then check your voice mails or anything else you could do if you had your phone with you. Eg..prosecution asserts that Jodi dialed into Travis voice mail from her phone (for 16 minutes on the way to Utah) and probably listened to any voice mails that may have been left for Travis, etc.. Jodi says she was just re-recording the alibi voice mail she left for Travis until she got it to sound just right.

Jodi says she was just re-recording the alibi voice mail she left for Travis until she got it to sound just right.

JA stated she had spoken with Leslie ?? and a couple of other people.
They said they were concerned as they were expecting her the morning of the 4th and had not heard from her. Supposedly said they had called Travis wondering if she might be there.

JA got the brilliant idea she, too, should call Travis so it would look "normal."
So she called but her voice... etc.
Said she had to put in 3 calls before sh got it to sound "right."

I don't believe her.
IMO, she WAS listening to the other people call and was enjoying the sound of concern they had over her not being where she said she was going.
I don't know that she called others except maybe MM, Gus , and Ryan. The guys.
I don't think she has too many gfs she feels comfortable calling.

I think it could have been that (highlighted in red), however, IMO, I think she would have deleted any messages to Travis that indicated Jodi was not where she was supposed to be as per her alibi at the time. Jodi had a strong need to know if there was anything in the messages for Travis that could arouse LE suspicion of Jodi. Eg...maybe afraid of a message from CH... TA was susposed to host a phone conference that evening and JA wanted to make sure there was no message from CH wanting to know why TA was MIA for the tele-conference and make sure TA hadn't told CH that JA was in AZ with him when he talked to TA at noon on murder day. I'm sure Jodi would have (or might have) deleted any that were not acceptable to her. Just another attempt to make sure she was still a ghost in AZ...

I'm thinking she probably saw the roommate's car and assumed he was home when she arrived. She didn't say she actually saw (or was seen by) the roommate. Hard to say what's true when Jodi's lips are moving...

I noticed that too. The stress has clearly taken a toll on her appearance since the trial started on January 2. The more prominantly displayed stupid little bang strands do not help either. She is just hard to feel empathy for on any level. Just sayin...

There is definitely some truth wooven into that bizarre ninja story of hers. I still think it reflects the order of events because she was sitting there manufacturing the story as she was telling it and the whole time trying to make the story fit the forensic evidence as she remembers it happening with the oh,so slight variation of(INSERT NINJAS HERE)

Clearly, Ninja Jodi remembers the stabbing. No fog in this story. She remembers ninja cutting her finger. Not that anyone is actually buying into the "fog" story.

Flores is so smooth. He is so patient and asks all the right questions in ways that just keep JA digging a deeper hole. I love the way he just lets her spin the whole convoluted, nonsensical ninja story including the ninja cut finger, all the while acting as if he is possibly buying it. Then the smack down! (paraphrasing Flores) I don't believe a word of that, Jodi...and oh, by the way, I've been doing this a long time and that slice on your finger is what happens when you are stabbing someone and the blood makes the knife slippery.
