Not sure that she ever intended to shoot first, but I do agree with you that at the very least Jodi wanted that kill to be contained in the bathroom. I think his throat was slit where it was because she maybe feared he'd get out of the bedroom area and yell or something. I think the whole thing got out of her tight control and ended up with evidence being in many more places than she probably ever imagined.

Here is the testimony of Joey Citizen (Verizon Guy) talking about the two calls from TA to JA on 6/2. This is tedious as it’s Nurmi on cross.
What I got from his testimony is this, one call started at 3:04 AM lasted approx 18 mins. Second call started at 3:21 AM and lasted approx 40 mins. I say approx as the calls are listed in seconds and Joey is rounding to mins.

Thank you..spared myself the Nurmi cuz I have only had a couple sips of java and not at all ready for THAT just yet but I checked out the other link. Still not really enough facts tho for me to prove without a doubt that he knew she was coming.

I also found Enrique's official police statement last night..he may of had his dates wrong by just one day but he did speak with Travis that last morning before going to work..Travis told him he hadn't slept too well that night and had an important call that evening. Upon arriving from work he noticed the living room furniture had all been moved off the tile flooring and he DID smell the odor but not until he got home from work on the night Travis was finally found.

Decomp had done it's job on Travis' brain by then..had he been found sooner we would all know for sure just when the hell he was shot

Now for the details;

ALL digital pictures contain a "fingerprint" called EXIF data. These record the make, model, serial number, aperture, lens, focal length (zoom), resolution, camera orientation, ISO, date/time, photo settings etc... EXIF can NOT be turned off. While EXIF can be "spoofed", it is not easy. However, it is VERY EASY to detect spoofing based on algorithms (each device's algorithm is unique like a fingerprint). So in other words, you may have the same make and model of a camera, "spoof" the EXIF data, and still not pass the test because the algorithms between the two cameras are not the same. I know this to be true because I've worked at Flickr for several years and I am a "professional" photographer. I run across this often, particularly in contests where users will attempt to fake out pictures to become eligible for contests on the site. I can guarantee you that if I know this, the forensic expert knows this as well, as does Martinez. That said, I don't believe the photos to be faked or "planted". Again, she's just not that smart...

That is probably what the juror wanted to establish as there is no way a man sitting in the shower with a closed shower door between them could have sprung into action, made it to his feet, opened the shower door and body slammed her in less time than it would have taken her to see the threat and run like hell. Just doesn't work unless we are expected to believe Travis literally "power rolled" his way out of the shower from a sitting position. Not!

Furthermore, the shower door swings out into the bathroom. If Jodi were to be believed that Travis attacked her from this sitting position, how is it that the shower door did not come slamming open and hit Jodi before the body slam. I think the shot came last but to put it in line. the shower door was closed and opens to the left towards the closet. TA was sitting on the shower floor with his back up against the left wall. The ME said it went thru his brain, he just doesn't know the track it took but on the location of the entry wound it did impact the brain. There wasn't any blood staining on the interior of the skull so he wasn't alive at the time. Also, the gun would was on the right side above the eyebrow going down into the left cheek. He would have been in the correct position while sitting in the shower but... she would have had to been able to open the shower door, stand next to said door right up against the closet wall and him not move from the sitting position and stay away from him to not leave stippling... If she shot him he wouldn't have fought back and therefore there wouldn't have been a chase around the bathroom and hall. I think she had both and maybe attempted the gun and it didn't work on the 1st try and then went for the knife while he saw his chance to get out of the shower and then she stabbed him in the chest forcing him to go to the sink for balance. Then the back leading down the hall... I would imagine with his chest hurt that he would be holding it while trying to escape and that put the smears on the walls as he was trying to keep upright while she was still getting him in the back taking him down for getting the throat... Mentioned before he probably had alot of adreneline causing muscle spasms and she got the gun to work(safety was probably still on) because she had time to mess with it and shot him either for showing signs of life or as a final FU...

What ever the scenario it has to fit into the time frame of the pictures... I do wonder where she would of had him and how he was positioned to make the shot...

I saw on HLN last nite that KN had Lisa Andrews on the stand and made TA look like a sex crazied jackass, did JM clean that up?

Even then she's jealous. This is just so creepy and sick. I am sure she was happy thinking about how devastated his friends/women in his life would be when he was found!

I think she was checking in being nosey to his messages but also seeing how her's fit into what was already in his box...

Not sure I understand the question. Are you are asking how the phone call is 16 minutes? If so..

You can access and check voice mail on one phone from any phone by calling the number...waiting for the call to go to voice mail...and then punching in your PIN # or access code. You can then check your voice mails or anything else you could do if you had your phone with you. Eg..prosecution asserts that Jodi dialed into Travis voice mail from her phone (for 16 minutes on the way to Utah) and probably listened to any voice mails that may have been left for Travis, etc.. Jodi says she was just re-recording the alibi voice mail she left for Travis until she got it to sound just right.

last night someone said for the 3rd gas charge in Utah with no receipt... What is her excuse going to be? the minimart portion is closed and you can only pump gas with a credit card... Someone mentioned another person showed up at the gas station with only cash and gave her $20 to put $19.55(?) worth of gas in their car... It's a stretch but I'd be curious if the info JM just requested is going to show it was on pump 2 for a gas purchase and with the timing there was no way for someone to manuver their car to pump two within the timeline of purchases if she goes that route... Maybe i'm not as creative when it comes to lying but I can't think of anything she can say to cover that purchase knowing that JM has checked her trail every step so far...

It was funny because it was like we were running from a teacher in school and rested outside the door laughing that we made it... I would have died if they heard it! It's funny because I know how to work the volume on my phone but in the panic I couldn't do it very fast...

In 1992 one of my childhood friends was murdered when he was 19, found stabbed 24 times and beaten. The guy that did it took his wallet and went home like nothing happened. When Jerry never came home that night but his truck was outside his mom was concerned. His hat and inhaler were by his truck along with blood. They found his body dragged across the street hidden under a pile of leaves in the neighbors yard. The guy was bigger and younger but plead guilty and got life but that isn't really life in MD so he's trying to get out... Jerry was only about 5'2" but muscular, ladies man... The guy Brian's girlfriend broke up with him and Jerry was dating her, there were some threats but since nothing happened nothing could be done. Brian was on the football team and they think he might of been on steroids because he was known to fly off the handle alot and they thought maybe roid rages... This kid is also a suspect in a house fire of a girl that broke up with him... He was so pissed off about his ex dating someone else he stabbed and beat his rival, a guy alot smaller then him to a pulp... When it's rage you're not going to be able to make sense of it... He wouldn't have remembered her in a couple months now he has to think about what put him there every day... Brian was 16 and came from money...

I'll have another window open with this blog then another one of the Justice for TA FB page for fast reference of anything I might of missed or heard wrong... My family thinks I'm nuts but I told them it's under control! Don't worry about me... lol

lol, Bmore! You sound like me during some of the trials I watch! Hubby thinks I am nuts and overboard . . .

I have to be in Houston today. Will miss most of the trial. Hope to watch some videos of today's testimony later.

I find it really neat the amount of men on the TA FB page... I think usually women are into trials and stuff because we are usually the caregivers and we empathize with the family and what this person went thru and we want to help right the wrong... I think this case really scared some men, this could of been me...

They tell me I'm worse with this one then Caylee... I was invested in Caylee for years and she was on my timezone so it wasn't really a home time issue, I heard the trial at work and on HLN on the way home in my car... this one has me all over the place... I was aware of it and since it's taken so long to come to trial I would check in on it now and then... Missed pretty much the states entire case... so i'm lost on some stuff... I'm just in awe of what she expects us to believe and to be spewing this stuff with such confidence and no remorse... It amazes me...

Here is a comment on this photo on FB that really says it all:

"I believe Travis was a very smart guy. There is no way she stood there with a knife at hand and a camera on the other while she terrorized him. JA stabbed him unexpectedly. She had that knife hidden and Travis did not see that fatal stab to the heart coming. But that is just my opinion. Aside from that No, I do not see anything other than the flash though I can see what would look like a figure but it just looks too ninja, cartoonish and I doubt JA stood straight like that. I would think the state would have used as evidence if they could determine the reflection of her standing there with a knife..."

I agree with this 100 percent. This last photo of Travis was a posed shot by and for Jodi, period. He does not look scared, and there is no way that he saw the knife before he was attacked. It was a SUPRISE attack, designed to catch him off guard and certainly to give the 5 ft. 5 Jodi any and all advantage. I have to say I think it's ridiculous that some people are still trying to say he looks scared because she was standing over him with a knife! That whole concept IMO (and a lot of other's) is ludicrous.
As to this photo, NO WAY can you see those details---there is no knife visible in the reflection in Travis's eyes, nor any details proving who is in the reflection, and if ANY of this were there I guarantee that a sophisticated FBI lab would have exposed them, and they would have been part of the prosecution's case!

from what i can understand there are some jurors close to her and they'd be able to tell if she shook... I do recall one time on cross JM was laying into her and handed her papers to read, text maybe journal... and she was shaking from nerves, you could see it when they passed the paper back and forth... for her to sit there and say i've shaken since day 1 of being on the stand but I hid it from you... yeah, ok.... Girl you could give 2 sh!ts, you think you're Rico Suave up there being a player...
