Autumn Pasquale, 12, of Clayton was reported missing Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012

CLAYTON — Authorities are asking for help finding a 12-year-old Clayton girl reported missing on Saturday.

Autumn Pasquale was last seen leaving her home on West High Street around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, borough Police Capt. Lisa MacDonald said.

She was riding her white Odyssey BMX bicycle, MacDonald said, adding her relatives reported her missing around 9:30 p.m.

Pasquale is white, about five feet, two inches tall (although a Facebook post says she's five feet, four inches tall) and weighing about 120 pounds. She has blue eyes and blonde hair, which she was wearing in a pony tail or bun when last seen, police said.

CLAYTON, N.J. - October 21, 2012 (WPVI) -- If you see Autumn Pasquale, please call your local police department.

The family of 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale is growing anxious because the Clayton girl went for a bike ride around 12:30 Saturday afternoon and hasn't been seen since.

" I just got off the phone and her mailbox is now full," her uncle, Paul Spadafora, told Action News.

Both police and family members believe Pasquale's cell phone is now turned off. Relatives say they have reason to believe the girl could've ventured to the area of Scotland Run Park. They spent Sunday searching these grounds.

Autumn Pasquale is one week away from turning 13. She has blonde hair with pink highlights, stands about 5'2" and weighs 120 pounds according to police.

Update, 10:45 p.m.:

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office provided the following information about the search for Autumn Pasquale:

The search for a missing 12-year-old Clayton N.J. girl will continue through the night with detectives pursuing any investigative leads developed.

Autumn Pasquale was last seen leaving her West High Street residence on a white BMX bicycle at 12:30 p.m. Saturday 10/20/12 and was reported missing by her family 9:30 p.m. the same day. She did not specify a destination when departing her home. The search began immediately with Clayton Police Department officers and expanded Sunday with activation of a county-wide Child Abduction Response Team that calls in personnel and equipment from throughout Gloucester County. CART is coordinated by detectives with the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.

A New Jersey State Police helicopter, bloodhounds and searchers were used in several locations, including a bike trail leading from Clayton to the neighboring community of Williamstown and Scotland Run Park on the outskirts of Clayton. State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have also participated in the search. In all, some 40 officers took part in the search Sunday, including members of the county's Emergency Response Team.

Police Seek Public’s Help In Finding Missing South Jersey Girl

CLAYTON, N.J. (CBS) — New Jersey State Police are asking the public for help in their search for a missing 12-year-old girl.

Authorities say Autumn Pasquale left her father’s home in Clayton, New Jersey on a white, BMX Odyssey bike around 1:30 Saturday afternoon, and has not been seen since.

“When you wake up in the morning and your daughter’s still not home, it’s time to panic,” said Autumn’s mother Jenn Cornwall. She and Tony Pasquale are praying for the safe return of their daughter.

“I don’t know who she was supposed to meet up with,” Cornwall said. “She just left and said she was meeting a friend.”

She communicated with her mom by phone about 15 minutes later.

Gloucester County police are looking for a 12 year-old girl who has been missing since leaving her Clayton home Saturday afternoon on her bike.

Autumn Pasquale of West High Street was last seen at 12:30 p.m. wearing navy blue sweatpants, a yellow "Clayton Soccer" T-shirt, bright blue high-top sneakers, and a silver backpack with "Reckless" written on it, authorities said. She was riding a white Odyseey BMX bike.

Her parents reported her missing at 9:30 Saturday night.

Pasquale was a student at Clayton Middle School with no history of running away, said Bernie Weisenfeld, a spokesman for the Gloucester County prosecutor's office.

Police are searching for a missing girl from Clayton, New Jersey.

Police say Autumn Pasquale, 12, was last seen leaving her home on W. High Street in Clayton on Saturday around 12:30 p.m. while riding a white Odyssey BMX bike to a friend's house. The girl’s parents called police after they say she never made it to that friend's house.

"It's not like her," said the girl's father, Tony Pasquale. "She would have been home 11 o'clock this morning if she slept over a friend's house."

Police say Pasquale may have been spotted at an unknown time on E. Academy Street near Scotland Run Park in Clayton though this has not yet been confirmed.

The FBI has joined a round-the-clock search or a missing 12-year-old Clayton, Gloucester County, girl last seen Saturday afternoon.

CLAYTON, N.J. - October 22, 2012 (WPVI) -- A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the whereabouts of 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale, of Clayton, New Jersey, who has been missing for two days.

Autumn's parents appeared at a news conference with Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean Dalton on Monday afternoon. They did not speak, but wanted to be there to offer support.

Dalton announced the $10,000 reward in this case. Half of the money was raised by the family and it was matched by the prosecutor's office.

Dalton also said investigators have conducted 75 interviews, including Autumn's friends, family and anyone else who saw her on Saturday.

Police: Body of Autumn Pasquale found in recycling container in Clayton

After an exhaustive two-day search to find Autumn Pasquale, authorities announced early Tuesday morning that a body has been found in a recycling container in Clayton.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said, in a statement released at 1:27 a.m. Tuesday, that a female's body was found in a container that "has been preliminary determined to be that of 12-year-old Anna Pasquale" a 12-year-old girl who went missing from her home Saturday afternoon.

The Prosecutor's Office said it would not release the exact location of where the body was found, but said only that it was in Clayton. Members of Autumn's family have been notified, police said.

CLAYTON, N.J. - October 23, 2012 (WPVI) -- New Jersey State Police say they have confirmed that the body found in Gloucester County late Monday night is that of 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale.

The body was found around 10:00 p.m. in a recycling container not far from her Clayton home.

At a news conference on Tuesday morning, Prosecutor Sean Dalton said there have been no arrests and there are no persons of interest.

However, he said this is now a criminal investigation.

"If they determine if there are individuals responsible for her death, they will be held accountable," Dalton said.

CLAYTON — The white BMX bike that Autumn Pasquale was riding on Saturday when she went missing was just found by police inside a small bungalow on the 300 block East Clayton Avenue, the same house where the 12-year-old girl's body was found Monday night.

Clayton residents awoke this morning to the grisly news that the body of a 12-year-old searchers had been looking for since Saturday night was found in a blue municipal recycling container waiting at the curb for pickup Tuesday.

Autumn Pasquale's body was found in the plastic container in front of a house on East Clayton Street, not all that far from her West High Street home.

Brothers considered suspects in Autumn Pasquale's murder

CLAYTON — Police are looking hard at two of four brothers who live in the East Clayton Avenue house next door to where Autumn Pasquale's body was found Monday night in connection with her murder.

The 12-year-old's body was found stuffed in a blue recycling container in front of an abandoned and closed-up house next to where the brothers live, according to sources close to the investigation. The two boys, 15 and 18, are reportedly in custody.

No arrests have been made, according to Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean Dalton.

The boys' turned themselves in with their attorneys.

Autumn Pasquale's murder: community mourns loss after teen brothers charged

A South Jersey community is in mourning tonight after 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale's body was found stuffed into a recycling container and ready for the next day's trash on East Clayton Avenue, just a few blocks from her home.

Even more difficult to swallow is who police have charged with her murder — two teenage brothers, identified by multiple sources as Dante and Justin Robinson, ages 17 and 15.

I had a sinking feeling that this case was going to end up this way, I was still hoping for the best even though I was fearing the worst. This is a horrible tragedy. The senseless murder of this beautiful child weighs heavy on my heart. I'm extremely sad.

SEARCHERS returned from the forests and fields Sunday night, their voices hoarse from calling Autumn's name, and those who loved her the most huddled close together in Clayton, holding fast to hope.

Meanwhile, at 8:16 p.m., a 15-year-old Clayton boy logged onto Facebook and, along with nearly 17,000 other people across the country, clicked "Like" on the FIND AUTUMN PASQUALE page.

But authorities say Justin Robinson knew exactly where Pasquale was - because he allegedly had lured her to his home on East Clayton Avenue on Saturday afternoon and then beat and strangled the seventh-grader with the help of his brother, Dante Robinson, 17, before they stuffed her into a blue recycling container.

CLAYTON, N.J. - Two teenage brothers were charged Tuesday with murdering a 12-year-old girl who had been missing since the weekend, prompting a frantic search by her small hometown until her body was found stuffed into a home recycling bin.

The boys' mother played a part in cracking the case involving Autumn Pasquale, Gloucester County prosecutor Sean Dalton said at a news conference. She came forward with information about a posting on a son's Facebook account, leading police to the boys, Dalton said.

Autumn Pasquale's prayer service draws huge crowd of mourners, classmates

Dawn Foglein and her 7th grade Clayton Middle School friends still couldn't say it out loud, even hours after the remains of their best friend Autumn Pasquale was recovered blocks from where the 12-year-old lived.

"We say she moved," Dawn said Tuesday night in front of the First Baptist Church on Delsea Drive where more than 1,000 people gathered for the second prayer service in the borough in two days.

"We don't want to say she died," the 12-year-old Dawn said.

The parents of Autumn must be so sickened.
The parents of the 2 boys also must be in shock and horrified. I applaud the mother for reporting her child. It must have been so difficult to have to acknowledge and come to terms with. I am certain that as a mother she must be torn apart with grief as well.

I agree... What in the hell were those boys thinking?

The police have not released what the FB posting said that alarmed their mother. But when she saw it, it scared her enough to call the police as soon as she saw it & show it to them. From what I was told by a tenant in the bld I work in (she lives very close to this) The posting somehow led them to her body. It also sounds like those boys put her in there AFTER the area had already been searched. It is still unclear if the boys mother was even living there at the time of the murder. There was another older brother (in his 20's) that may have been living there, but not home at the time. I feel sorry for their mother too. I cannot imagine what she must have gone thru when she realized they were involved & yet she was strong enough to turn her own children into the police.

This is such a sad case. Gloucester county is not too far from me. The local news did not state what the FB postings was. It was also reported, one of the brothers attended the vigil for Autumn. I not only pray for Autumn's family, but for the Mom of the teen perps. I can't imagine the pain she is going through as well.

It reminds me of what GA said to the police in his private meeting... I hate to think I could of brought someone into this world that could do that... I guess if the evidence is right in front of you how do you deny it? George knew KC was responsible is some shape or form I guess like this mother felt.
