He was arguing against the instructions to the jury on "extreme atrocity and cruelty" which is an element required for first degree murder. The crime has to be especially heinous, cruel, or deprave for the defendant(s) to be charge with murder in the first degree. But the judge sided with the prosecution, she said there was enough evidence to instruct the jury on that. Odin Lloyd was shot six times, there were fatal injuries to his internal organs, he was executed in a secluded part of an industrial area and his body was found in a gravel pit, if that doesn't qualify to instruct the jurors on extreme atrocity and cruelty, nothing does.

Pure speculation but one which could lead to a twist in this case.
I wonder... Did AH shoot the victim twice and then pass the gun to the other two (who may have been present outside the vehicle and walked into the field with the victim and AH) demanding they each shoot the victim as well so as to avoid snitches and tattlers? AH may have been trying to buy himself security unlike the South Boston murders... of which he has yet to face trial.

This is why I was curious as to the possibility of other guns (nope, just the one) and who may have had ultimate control over the situation.

No matter. IMO, AH was the mastermind and the perp and used others to buy his silence.

AH is not afraid of killing others to shut them up.
I am sure AH was concerned with his uncle's testimony... and that is why his uncle suddenly "had" to die.
He is cold and ruthless. Thinks he is the baddest boy. His life is of violence. I really wonder what his family thinks of him now.

This is the reason why I believe AH was directly involved in the death of an uncle who had hidden the vehicle AH was driving at the time of the Boston murders. He was eliminating anyone who would dare to testify against him or implicate him in the murders.

Yes, I believe that AH murdered OL to silence him about knowledge of the Boston murders. Ironically, it is more than possible that OL didn't even know about those murders. It has been speculated that AH became angry with OL at the nightclub Rumor because OL was hanging out with a group of his Dorchester area friends. AH mistakenly thought that OL's friends were the same persons that had been hanging around with the two Boston murder victims the prior summer. AH became paranoid that these persons had divulged information that they believed AH to be responsible for the Boston murders. The Boston victims' friends and OL's friends were actually not the same group of people, but when AH saw them he thought that they were the same. AH probably wanted to know what/how much the "friends" in the nightclub had told OL. If AH was as paranoid as he has been described then he probably didn't even believe OL when OL likely defended himself and his friends by insisting that he (OL) didn't have any idea what AH was talking about and neither do his friends. So, through AH's mistaken identity of OL's friends it seems possible that AH just thought OL possessed knowledge that OL did not possess and AH believed OL was lying about said knowledge and could not be trusted. This is all speculation that has been floated in various articles that have been posted, but it does seem to be a plausible explanation/motive.

Yes, the $500 to Wallace on 06/18 is a huge red flag and so is the $800 that Shayanna withdrew on 06/19 and just can't seem to remember what she needed that money for. Hmm, not too hard to figure that one out. Shayanna gave EW the $500 and he asks her for more. Next day Shayanna withdraws another $800 and can't seem to remember why she needed the $800, what she did with the $800, or even where she went during the course of that day. The Aaron Hernandez saga has conjured up many questions over the last two years. How could someone live such a duplicitous life and hide it so well? How could someone with so much going for him throw it all away (allegedly)?

Watching the proceedings of his first murder trial on Wednesday, another question came to mind: How exactly did Hernandez pass all of those NFL drug tests?

Shayanna is not a good liar (thankful for that quality) and needs to stop with the bs.
IMO, she is hobbling along in a relationship she knows is  not healthy for her, and she knows she can not change him. IMO, AH has destroyed the relationship Shayanna has with her birth family. IF she calls it quits on AH and leaves him, yes she will leave beyond cash as well as the presumed image (which AH has killed off) BUT she may regain friendship within her family. I seriously doubt if she will ever regain the  trust of her sister.
That is so sad. What she did hurt her sister terribly. I don't know if I would be able to forgive my sib for that huge betrayal.

Yeah, I'm don't know what's up with Shayanna. She is still clearly in AH's corner based on her trial testimony. Dreams die hard. I think that Shayanna really struggles with that. She has been in love with this thug since high school and is the mother of his child. She has had a taste of the NFL superstar's girlfriend/wife lifestyle and all the money that came with it. That must have been somewhat intoxicating for a young women that was raised with modest means in Bristol, CT. That being said, I hope that Shayanna checks into her new reality soon and before it becomes too late for her to repair the relationship with Shaneah.

Dreams may die hard, but, how about pipe dreams? AH, Shayanna, AH's loyal thug crew and enablers must be smoking a bowl of "delusional" as they all seem to believe that AH will beat this rap. I think it goes beyond family ties and loyal friendships. I think that all of them have become accustomed to or dependent on AH's superstar paycheck. Even so, how is it that these people don't seem to realize that those benefits are in the past and are NEVER coming back. Even if lightening strikes twice and AH beats all of the criminal charges, like OJ Simpson did, he will never again have big money to throw around. Unlike Michael Vick, the NFL will never take another chance on this thug...not even for a fraction of his previous pay. Dog fighting is horrible but 3 murders charges are just too much for even the NFL to stomach. Plus, of course, AH's now publicized use of drugs. He is no longer hirable by the NFL.

AH's contract was for $41 million over 5 years. That means that after only one year of the contract AH had only collected about 20% or so of the money, lets say about $10 million. His lavish lifestyle, new home, and now his criminal defense have probably consumed a considerable portion of AH's already earned money. Even if he beats the criminal charges and gets out of jail, AH is likely to lose just about every dime he has left due to the wrongful death civil suits that are pending. AH and Shayanna never married so it is unlikely that any of his remaining money would be protected for her. There may be a legal way for him to protect some of his money for little Avielle's benefit but that would be about it. So, ultimately, there will be NO money. Why do these people protect AH as if he is going to get out of jail and suit up for the Patriots again? In the end they will have all perjured themselves for a near penniless murderer. Yes, dreams do die hard.
