Family and friends of a woman, who was last seen five days ago, are not giving up hope they will see her again.

About 30 people have looked all over the Graham area for any sign of 22-year-old Leah Martin.

They are also turning to social media to help in the search with the help of a Facebook page "Help Find Missing Girl Leah Donnice Martin".

Community members are doing everything they can to bring Leah home.

"I'll tell you what. We'll go walk those and then we'll come back and get the vehicles," said Leah's Uncle,

Those who have pitched in to help have set up shop at Graham's Gateway Inn.

Leah was least seen between Dave's Cisco and the Graham Post Office Friday night.

If you have seen anything unusual, they ask you to call police.

The Graham police department number is 940-549-6441.

Graham Police Chief Tony Widner said Martin's vehicle was found parked outside her work place. Authorities have other leads they also continue to follow up on.

Police searching for missing woman

Family, friends and Graham police continue to search for missing Graford woman Leah Donnice Martin, 22, seven days after she was last heard from.

Martin attended Graham High School’s commencement ceremony Friday, May 29, and officials say her last known contact with anyone was a call to her father, Billy Martin, around 9 that evening.

Search organizers released a new missing person flier Thursday with a detailed description of Martin and what she was last seen wearing May 29.

Martin is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds has dark brown hair and blue/hazel eyes, and she was last seen wearing a teal blouse with lace on the cuffs, blue-jean capris and sandals.

Her Chevrolet pickup truck was found at her place of employment, EC’s Auto Repair on 380 Bypass, on Saturday, Billy said, and she didn’t show up to her Saturday morning shift.

The GPD asks anyone with any information relating to the case to call Detective Jeff Smith at, 940-549-6441.

Family: missing woman received threatening calls

Missing woman Leah Martin's grandparents feel that more needs to be done.

According to the grandparents of missing Graford woman Leah Martin, she had been receiving anonymous threatening phone calls and they feel her search should be treated as a criminal investigation.

Martin, who has a 2-year-old daughter, attended the Graham High School graduation ceremony the evening of Friday, May 29, and was last heard from via a telephone call that evening around 9 p.m.

“We know — and anybody that you talk to about Leah will know — she didn’t go off and leave that baby,” Lois Shaffer, Martin’s grandmother, said.

The threatening calls Martin received came from an unknown number, Shaffer said.

“She had been getting some anonymous threats,” Shaffer said. “Threats from calls, numbers that had been blocked.”

Family and Friends Still Searching for Leah Martin

It's been 11 days since 22-year-old Leah Martin from Graham was last seen and now family and friends say they're widening the search.

"Somebody out there knows something and they need to do the right thing and call the police," Leah's mother Stacney Martin said.  

Family members say Martin was last seen on May 29th leaving home for the grocery store around 9 p.m.

Her car was found outside of the auto shop where she works, but her keys and wallet were not.

"Couple to 3 weeks prior she was getting threatening phone calls. I don't really know all exactly was said, but they were threatening her with bodily injury and her life," Leah's father Billy Martin said.  

The family has already expanded search efforts to social media, with a Facebook account dedicated to bringing Leah home, and now the search has widened out even more throughout most of Young County.

Graham police chief Tony Widner says right now they're still in the process of interviewing everyone who saw leah that day.
