Yeah. That's why I dislike her. She hasn't been fair at all. BP bent over backwards for the defense in the CA case and she's bent over backwards for the state. It shouldn't be that way on either side. :/

i would think if you were going to lean one way or the other, it would be toward the defense to prevent an appealable issue. This judge could give a rat's patoooteee about that.

You would but nope. I wonder if that will play with the jury? I mean she kept saying homicide, instead of alleged. That drove me nuts; he wasn't convicted and it was like she'd already decided he was guilty and that was that. Whatever the verdict is I'm sure she'll give it away by her facial expression.

description of the jury is mostly middle aged with two older gentlemen

jury is stoic not giving any facial expressions or motions

still waiting....here come the judge....

stil waiting...jury wants transcript of 911 call...not available right now

case law says judge can read back testimony back at court's discretion...defense arguing that it is not evidence , they can listen to call, they have that.

judge says there will be a transcript when it is transcribed and will be a part of the court record ultimately.

Judge is going to say that there is no transcript available.

IMO, they seem to be "discounting" the alleged medical issues for Lina and focusing on the fact that she and Adam were the only ones in the house, her deep neck injuries, and the 911 call from AK.

i think the tape speaks volumes. maybe they just want to make sure they are hearing the words right.

I was looking at it another way, I was thinking when the pros. said that he went downstairs to make the call...that's not what I heard. he might have said she was upstairs, but I think he was just trying to tell emt where they were. He said that he was with her, he was panicked. I don't think of it as ominous for Adam

That's an interesting take on what it means. I saw the 911 call like you but it just seems they're a bit too involved in the defense's theory.

What is IS saying?

so - do the jurors get to hear the tape back in the jury room....or not - because they need a transcript instead.

The first question was about the images of Lina's neck injuries. The 2nd question is because they want to focus on what Adam said during the 911 call regarding her neck injuries.

They have the tape in the jury room, I think because some of it is not understandable, they wanted an exact transcript.

I think they might be going through the claims of either p or d one at a time....if its possible or if there are answers.

Good sign for the process.

Anyone notice that when Adam is with lena in the bathroom,his voice is echoed,unlike whenn he is away from her.Is it just me,can anyone else hear the difference?

looking at the marks on the neck, could that blood be from the bloody foam coming from her mouth. They did say that adam had foam around his mouth which proves to me that he was trying.

It is a good sign. I am thinking we won't get a hung jury.

I did notice that Suz, I could see him going in and out of bathroom not knowing exactly what to do. I can tell you that when you call 911 for someone who is not related to you in any way you can be a whole lot more calm than if you have someone that you are attached too.

I am thinking there will be no hung jury either... reasonable doubt is not WITHOUT ANY doubt. And it appears this jury - whichever way they vote - is looking to be reasonable given the evidence and their common sense, whether G or NG.

I really think there's gonna be a verdict today or tomorrow. These people seem really engaged in this.
