Plane that flew Casey Anthony out of Orlando crashes, kills family of 6

POLK COUNTY, Fla. —


A plane that once flew Casey Anthony out of Orlando after she was released from jail following her trial crashed in Polk County on Thursday, killing two adults and four children.

Authorities said the plane went down in a remote portion of the Tiger Creek Swamp area at about 12:40 p.m. near Lake Wales.

Ronald Bramlage, 45, was piloting the plane. His wife, Rebecca, 43, and their four children were also onboard.

Plane formerly connected to Casey Anthony crashes

The plane that was once owned by the lawyer for Casey Anthony and involved in a 2011 Anthony hoax crashed and killed the six people on board Thursday afternoon.

Records show the plane was once owned by former Anthony lawyer Todd Macaluso and was part of a hoax in the summer of 2011, with a Anthony look-a-like running from the plane at Orlando Executive Airport. Anthony had just been acquitted of the murder of her daughter, Caylee Anthony.

"We can assure you one thing, a child came out of the aircraft at some point," Judd said.


Judd confirmed there was "a gaping hole" in the aircraft in the area of one of the seats. When asked if investigators knew for sure if the boy left the aircraft in midair, Judd said, "We know that the child's not in the aircraft."

How tragic & horrifying!

Too bad it didn't crash when KC was on it.... that would have been the karma she deserves. Still wouldn't have been justice, because only a guilty verdict would have been justice, but at least she wouldn't be able to ever hurt anyone ever again.

This family would also still be alive.....

So sad, but I'm glad at least that they found him.

It really is sad, Julie.... I can't even imagine what their family feels... having a whole family wiped out in one fell swoop.

I know, it's terrible. Esp. that there were 4 children.

An attorney who assisted in Casey Anthony’s defense during the Caylee Anthony murder trial has plead guilty to defrauding clients with false promises of monetary gain.

Todd Macaluso has been under investigation for scamming clients out of money that they were owed in an attempt to keep his law office operational. Prosecutors in his case claim that many clients were unaware they were being scammed. In addition to pleading guilty to scamming his clients, Macaluso also claims that he falsified signatures on documents and notary stamps in an attempt to convince investors to provide millions of dollars in investments.

According to the FBI website, Macaluso defrauded clients that he represented as a personal injury lawyer. After an extensive investigation, Macaluso pled guilty charges of defrauding his clients by providing their information on funding agreements, including signatures that were accompanied by a notary stamp. He claimed that many of his clients were unaware that their identities were included in his scheme.
