Nurmi said he only needed about an hour for his witness on the 18th. Yeah right! It sometimes takes Nurmi the better part of an hour just to get finished storytelling (testifying) before he ever gets around to spitting out the actual question. He also said he cannot get Geff to the stand prior to the 25th/26th. He will probably drag through several days of rehash with Geff as well...and so it goes

The couple’s clothing is valued at a mere $200, while their wedding rings are worth just $500, it says. Their three vehicles — two cars and a Harley Davidson motorcycle — total just $2,600, according to the petition.

They’re seeking bankruptcy relief from a mountain of debt that includes nearly $35,000 owed on credit cards and thousands more in cell phone bills and medical expenses. They owe WalMart $224; JC Penny, $3,194.60; and Kohl’s, $2,848.29. Bill still owes $66 for a Paint Zoom paint sprayer, and $714 for a Total Gym Fitness machine, court papers say.

It is the first time the public has heard her voice since May 2013, since she has been in prison for 23 hours a day where she remains a convicted felon. She mentioned other weird things like, she did not want the members of that organization having a cupcake party with that money, or going on cruises with what she seems to think is, “her” money. Another very peculiar statement stands out.

Jodi wants all of the money to go to her family. The “her” Jodi is referring to here is likely Maria de la Rosa, her mitigation specialist who has already proven her own moral compass might need a little bit of tweaking. The audio file uploaded to YouTube shown here very clearly has a confirmed Jodi Arias saying,
“The problem is that when people donate to a cause they believe in, they wanna know where the money is gonna go. But at this point they don’t know where it’s gonna go unless they donate to the trust. It can only go there.”

Here is the nutshell in what is happening here. Jodi is referring to a trust that has been set up for her family, and for her defense fund, and any money that is collected “on Jodi’s behalf” needs to go in that pocket, and that pocket only. Jodi is also referring to herself as “a cause people believe in” which may be the most ironic part of this whole story....."

Juan was throwing doubt onto the testimony of Dworkin (and others) regarding WHO had access to Travis computer directly or indirectly; with said access, WHO could have placed this porn onto the computer (see his reference to downloads late in June after Travis was already dead.) With this doubt, do we/anyone know at this time IF Travis actually viewed porn on the computer? Four nasty images? None of the so-called "child porn"? Doubt on the credibility of testimony re the porn found on Travis' computer.

IMO, these were planted on Travis' computer. Either remotely or by someone with computer knowledge who went back into the  computer and altered the data stamp info. JA has considerable knowledge of how to do this; Matt M. also could have assisted JA with this. (He was willing to assist in falsifying fake pedo letters for JA....)

Travis' solution for computer problems was NOT to visit a registry or directory and root out the problem; he simply added more applications to block viruses and downloads. JA, on the other hand, had considerable knowledge of breaking passwords, resetting passwords, remotely accessing accts to send fraudulent emails, etc. (This is the idiot who crawls thru doggy doors to announce, "I'm here! You thot I could'n't get in and I did!" The same idiot who enters a FORMER bf's bedroom to be found by him sleeping in HIS bed! Or hides under a Christmas tree to hear what others may say about her when they think she is gone....)

I agree.  I think the Little Red Riding Hodi porn video fantasy started with JA.  I doubt that most guys would think up designing a porn script around a fairytale.  Even so, I seriously doubt that TA ever actually intended to participate in such a video.  He was a Mormon and he was climbing the ladder of a business career.  Travis was smart enough to know that allowing himself to be filmed participating in a porn video could destroy his career and his standing with the church if anyone were to see the video.  Nothing but a fantasy that TA played along with, that's the extent of it, IMO.

I totally agree! I thought this during the original trial when I heard the infamous sex tape. In the first place Travis actually didn't sound that 'into it' if you ask me. He sounded more tired than stimulated, and I thought 'this guy is just going along with this. He sounds like he'd really like to get off the phone and go to sleep!'

What??? This was news to me. I did some research and found that some of Travis' journal is actually included in Jodi Arias' journals, Volume 6, and to be found on Beth Karas' website. You have to pay to access her 'Karas on Crime' and I am not a subscriber, but with some more digging I found this:

Do the journals reveal the reason for the May 26, 2008 fight?

The first 19 pages of the 45-page Volume 6 of ‪#‎JodiArias‬' Journals are actually Travis' journals from March, April and May 2008. Travis' last entry is Thursday, May 29, 2008. In fact, it appears that Travis' late May 2008 entries may shed light on the reason Travis was so angry with Jodi on May 26 that he called her all sorts of names, etc. We heard Miccio-Fonseca give the details of the email and IM exchanges.

Check out volume 6 for yourself but here’s the synopsis:

On pages 17-18, included among Travis' entries for May 27, 2008, is: “UFC party was great as usual. Met some new people. A couple new girls even. Anything that will get my mind off Lisa for a moment.”

Then on pages 18-19, May 29, 2008, which is Travis' final entry, he writes, “However, the good news is on Saturday I met a cutie pie on Saturday at my UFC party. I saw her Sunday again at church. Two days ago she requested me as a friend on Facebook. We have been sending email flirts ever since. I got the phone number. We’ve been texting and now we are hanging out tonight.”

Note that Saturday was May 24, 2008. His reference to “two days ago” is either May 27 or, possibly, May 26.

In the last journal volume, on pages 17-18 which are May 26, 2008 entries, Jodi discusses their fight and seems to downplay it. She admits going into Travis' Facebook page, claiming he gave her his password, but she says she hadn’t logged into his account for a week. She writes that Travis asked her not to do it again.

As for the timeline in the case, the “burglary” of the gun and other items at Jodi’s grandparents’ home occurred on May 28, 2008. Travis was murdered on June 4, 2008.

Had Jodi actually posted something on Facebook–a comment or a photo–that was meant to thwart a budding relationship with the woman Travis just met? We may never know exactly what was a posted but it seems that this could be the catalyst for the horrible May 26, 2008 fight–the explanation we’ve all been looking for.

I would still like to see the entry where Travis supposedly says it's the first full day he has not spoken with Jodi and how happy he is. I hope if anyone finds that they will post it here.
Hearing T. refer to meeting "a cutie" above it is so sad. It seems as if he is almost back to his normal self and looking for 'Ms. right'. There is no sexual innuendo, as portrayed by this defense. Even in the innocent comment about his party, and meeting a "cutie", it seems as if he was aware of the 'darkness' and wrongness of his relationship with Jodi. Here, that May, he has gone on with his life and he seems RELIEVED to me---Glad to be out of something he knew was just bad, and had exploited his weaknesses and led him down a path I don't think he ever really wanted to go down.

I wanted to clear a few things up about the Jodi Arias schedule.
Court not in session till the 18th had nothing to do with juror's. It had everything to do with the defense witnesses. Nurmi stated in court his witnesses wouldn't be ready till the week of the 23rd and tried to get a delay. The judge stated she would call his experts and speak to them personally because the "trial needed to end." Today we hear from the judge that low and behold the defense witnesses will be available for the 18th as the judge had hoped. SO, this isn't the judges fault..not the jurors fault...it's getting these witnesses such as Geffner and Fonseca back in Az to testify. I'm glad Judge Stephens did whatever she did and our delay is short. Monday is a holiday and so really we are only losing one day.

Jodi likes to talk about everyone else destroying evidence, but the fact remains, Jodi herself destroyed more evidence that anyone. Jodi destroyed her own computer because it's very likely she didn't want it discovered that she had her own porn files and history. She may not have wanted it brought up that her search history showed a definite plan for the murder. She may have even wanted to hide her long history of logging in to Travis's accounts, which would serve to show just how obsessed she was. ....."

Fast forward to this week when expert Robert Brown revealed that the porn files were part of SpyBot Search and Destroy blacklist. Spybot curated the top 1000 or more virus Trojan, malware and spam links and then added their names to the blacklist directory. A blacklist directory is simply a block list—if you're on Facebook and Twitter and you block annoying people, you're doing essentially the same thing—you're creating a blacklist of blocked names and Facebook and Twitter react by not allowing those usernames to view your accounts or interact with you, and furthermore, you're shielded from them as well. 

Spybot created a similar directory that for the most part is behind the scenes and not available to the user unless the user goes looking for it.  If I was to break out the code on my Facebook account I would see a lot of gibberish, and among this gibberish I'd see the directories. I'd see my Friend directory which is all the people who I have a mutual friendship with. There would also be a Follow directory of all the people I follow and then another of all the people who follow me. Another directory would be the Blocked directory. If you took all those directories and just viewed all the usernames, without checking which directory they resided in, you'd say 'hey Brad, I thought you didn't like so-and-so, why do you have them on your Facebook account?" That's what happened with the Spybot on Travis's computer—Jodi's experts disregarded the directories those files were in and made it seem that Travis had visited those sites....."

Watching a season three of Forensic Files.
Something jumped out and I wanted to share it.
In the story line, the woman claims of a home intrusion where she was knocked unconscious for @ 45 minutes. The ME who performed the autopsy on the "kidnapped" baby of the woman stated she was also a degreed and licensed neroupsychologist. She had testified in that case re a "slamming to the head" and what would happen: memory is stored along the outer regions of the brain. With a slamming, the brain moves inside the skull and this would destroy any and all recent memory without discrimination. Can't get selective here and can't have "bouts" of destroyed or recalled memories. If the injury was severe enough to knock a person out, it was severe enough to destroy the memory simply by the "jostling" of the soft brain matter against the harder skull.

Why I do NOT buy into this "fog" theory, I found it interesting that even if there was a fog, then the recent memory would have been completely wiped out! JA would not have been able to have told us of Travis purportedly knocking a camera from her hands, etc..

Can't play this both ways, folks!

Exactly!!! JA claims to remember bits and pieces such as hearing the knife fall to the tile floor after the murder...but, not remember where she got the knife from in the first place. She remembers being chased through the closet after being body slammed to the floor but does not remember shooting TA, etc. Memory drifting in and out...oh, such a foggy mess.

I have had more than enough of the defense and hubby lost his job on Friday when the company let go of the whole creative dept. without any warning so we have huge problems here...I decided I could not handle a re-run of the 2 Dr. GooFees, Nurmi's cry-baby whining and middle school insults, and Wilmott's shrieking so I won't be watching the tweets for awhile...
Hoping to get the updates from The 13th Juror's essays, until Juan's closing argument. I hope to follow that, and then of course the verdict.

Unfortunately it appears to be happening to a lot of folks these days and it looks as though we are heading for (already in?) another recession, then with all the trouble going on in the rest of the world I cannot stand to look at stabby's smug mug! How on earth she has gotten away with all her shenanigans is beyond belief. I dislike squirmy nurmi intensely but I have noticed him smiling a few times when watching Juanlicious crossing some of the lying defence witness's, almost as though he respects and admires his style. Willnot - ye gods, what can I say about her except listening to her squeaky voice is like listening to fingernails on chalkboard.
I'm tempted to lock myself away until the verdict but..........probably won't!!

Am I missing the point about all this computer stuff. Is the defense trying to prove prosecutorial misconduct to get the first verdict thrown out on appeals? As far as mitigating factors, I could give a rats behind if TA watched porn, what does that have to do with the fact that she brutally murdered him. Isn't this phase supposed to present facts to the jury that she is someone worth saving from death. I just don't get it.

Much of this penalty phase of the trial has been dominated by the computer porn issue. So what!!!

I think JM called Dworkin to make the point that the defense and prosecution both had the exact same information at the exact same time during the criminal trial. As if to say, enough already! You had the same information and understanding of content on the computer that we did...so, please, can we move on?

Thank you so much for your kind words...The thing that is so devastating is that this is the second time it's happened to us in 6 years and it only gets worse...Kinda lost all faith and hope at this point.
