Yeah, kind of a weird read.  I do not doubt Ms. Collins' word that Jodi was a terrible, overbearing, and highly annoying cellmate.  However, I am not of the mind that Collins is all that mentally stable after reading this document.  JMO, of course.

Reflecting back on this Injunction two things come to mind.. Yes agreed that Ms. Collins may not be stable.. however, thinking it might also be to get her 15 minutes of fame on Jodi's back.. Jodi has the appearance of money filtering in from all sources.. Ms Collins may think that if she gets her statement out using Jodi (high profile) that she may be able to sue the LE for sexual assault (more people reading her statement therefore hush money) .. JMO

Yep, even with her canteen privileges being suspended it is still more cushy at the jail than it is at Perryville.


I am hoping that JA will actually be transported to Perryville on the 13th following her sentencing. I remember reading that JA would remain in the custody of MCSO until after the pending civil litigation was completed for LE convenience. Fact or fiction? Do any of you know?

It can't be that difficult to transport her from the prison (where she should have been since 2013...) I would think they do it routinely.

According to the court docs I had posted some pages back, there appears to be more court action until the middle/end of May 2015 in this case. Talk of holding her at the jail until that is heard. I sure hope not.

Let her get settled in at the prison and then bring her back for a long ride staring out the window at what she no longer can have:
Freedom. A bus ride. A view. Sun/rain on the face. Seeing people walking down the streets laughing together. New styles and spring colors. New haircuts. Someone holding a soft drink cup or chewing gum... Let her see the businesses she will never be able to visit. New restaurants. And even llamas on the loose...

I hope she goes immediately (or by suppertime) to PV.

This is interesting. Do any of you remember a Mike Chapman being mentioned as a TA friend/associate? Also, I am still wondering who is tweeting under the name Doxing RX? This person tweets things as if he/she is "in the know". Maybe he/she knows something or maybe not. I, too, am bracing for ANYTHING to happen on Monday.  It's a pattern we have unfortunately become accustomed to.  And not in a good way!

Stripes and shackles should happen, but I bet she will be there in a schoolgirl outfit with peter pan collar.  Or perhaps her "sexy" look like she tried during re-trial.
Delay would not be a surprise.  Hope I am wrong.

I'm wondering if JA's family and friends will finally speak on behalf of Jodi since they are no longer subject to cross-examination???

After hearing the impact statements, I hope the judge has a few minutes for a recess (if she feels one is needed) and then returns the court for the sentencing. Let's not delay this another month or even a week or a day. The judge has seen the victims in the court, has read their comments and seen the videos, and met with them in her closed chambers. She knows their pain, frustration, and their grief. (I ahope the Hughes and Deanna will address the court, as well.)

The judge has met with JA, the convicted murderess.
She has seen in her court, heard her in court, viewed the evidence, read all the appeals entered on her behalf, and met with her in closed chambers.

How much does this judge need for her "deliberations" prior to sentencing? What is left to consider???

Get it over with and let JA get accustomed to her new housing arrangements.


Destiny awaits her.... with no cell phones, no snacks, no week-end plans.... scratch off the future and start adjusting for that earned.

There are many things that I would like to ask Detective Flores. I would love to know what all the investigation uncovered that was not allowed into the trial. I would love to know the details of the Matt M. forgery debacle. I would love to know why JM toyed with JA about getting her to admit to returning to Darrel B's with a "remote". JA didn't want to admit to "gifting" DB with a DVR and then later returning with the remote control and there is a reason why. Was this the remote control for the DVR that was stolen from her grandparents in the bogus robbery and JA didn't want that association to be made for fear that she might open the door for Juan to tie her to the robbery ? I'll bet Flores could fill a book with details from JA's crime and trial that have never been released to the public.

As for the Christmas boxes: Flores testified that the attic was searched and it was completely empty. I don't remember him saying anything about dusting the attic access for finger prints though. Detective Flores testified that TA's Christmas decorations were found stored in his garage.

I live in Arizona and most attics are unfinished (two x fours and insulation without usable finished floor space) and not really usable for storage. Attic entry is usually through a little removable 2x2 panel in a ceiling and provides a homeowner with access to service the air conditioning unit or heating unit. Phoenix area attics become extremely hot from May through October. There are few things that a homeowner could store in an attic, including Christmas decorations, that would not be damaged or prematurely aged by the heat. So, it is not surprising that Travis did not store his Christmas decorations in the attic. I knew Jodi was lying the second she blurted that one out.

If you google, "inside the brain of a killer," there are some interesting stories and pictures that illustrate the difference in the construction of the killer's brain. Essentially, a part of the brain which should register "alarm, concern, compassion," does not register ANYTHING. It is like it is empty. These individuals lack the capacity of compassion which DOES mean normal remorse would also be a foreign concept. IMO, this is the reason JA CAN totally BS regarding Travis and trash his family, she has no ability to perceive the pain she has and is inflicting. The law, however, ONLY requires she has the ability to understand what is right/wrong, legal and lawful or not legal or lawful.

Seems to me the DT is STILL stalling for more time for JA....
That last documented was submitted to the judge FRIDAY, YESTERDAY!
And she is to ponder it before sentencing Monday, 8:30 AM?

Wilmott is asking for the lightest of sentences and produces a litany of other cases where the defs HAS gotten lighter sentences. Wilmott does not discuss the merits of any of the other cases but simply tosses out charts to pad her requests. As in, throw the pasta against the wall and see what sticks.

What is different?
JA drove over a thousand miles on her trip to kill Travis.
She planned it in advance with the stealing of a gun, time off from work due to injury, guying gas cans, changing hair color, and establishing alibi with the license plate reversal and "grinding" of Ryan...

JA planned a coverup and produced several set of lies.
JA lied about the disposal of the weapons.
JA lied to the family when uninvited she wrote a letter detailing how ninjas killed Travis leaving her helpless...
JA lied about her fog.
JA has failed to demonstrate ANY remorse.
It is all a big game to her.

Fry her ass, IMO. Lock her up and toss the key. We are done.

Interesting that DT wants to compare this extremely premeditated case to a bunch of drug or robbery fueled murder cases. Yes, a victim dies in each example case but few cases on this list involve carefully planned premeditation to intentionally seek out and butcher the victim. Not the same.

Excellent points, everyone.  And there's no mention in that document of the aggravating factor of cruelty, either. They just ignore the truth, as usual.
