Pictures of Casey Anthony's back, tattoo released

The State Attorney's office is releasing more evidence in the murder case against Casey Anthony Friday, and it includes candid photos of a tattoo she apparently got after her daughter Caylee disappeared.

The pictures (shown above) show Anthony's "bella vita" tattoo, Italian for "beautiful life." The pictures were taken recently in the Orange County jail.

Anthony is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, and dumping her body in woods near the family's home. She told authorities Caylee had been kidnapped by a babysitter named Zenaida Gonzalez.

KC tells LA in his July 25 visit that her tattoo is "Caylee related". She was already beginning to cover for having partied the beautiful life after she got rid of her child.

This is a slideshow of several things; KC's tattoo, the shovel and the DUCT TAPE!! Even though the fabric is degraded, I'm still betting they got prints from the adhesive side of one of those pieces!

OMG, those are just about the most disgusting photos I have ever seen. Whatever that is on her back is so gross. And it does my heart good to see her like that exposed to the world, fat and gross. Not quite so cute as her MySpace, Cupid.com and photobucket pics, now is she?

Unbelievable she has time to get a tattoo while her child is missing. I have a teeny tiny tattoo on the back of my shoulder. And it took at least an hour for mine. I imagine this one took at least a few hours.

I am waiting for the duct tape though. I am almost certain the condition of this tape is going to tell us a lot as to how a human being inspecting it, not a chemical test, would be able to say it does not appear to match. Of course it wouldn't "look" like a match.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Prosecutors released dozens of photos and 1,400 pages of documents in the case against Casey on Friday and it confirms information Eyewitness News already reported about the duct tape found over little Caylee's mouth.

The duct tape does contain a rare unique marking like one on the tape on posters made by the family to help find Caylee.

Amongst the evidence released are pictures of Casey's tattoo (see tattoo), the duct tape found on Caylee’s remains (see tape) and the shovel Casey borrowed from a neighbor (see shovel).

The duct tape photos help to explain why the FBI report said that the duct tape over Caylee's mouth looks different under the microscope than the duct tape on the Anthonys' gas can and you don't need a microscope to see why; the tape over Caylee's mouth in the woods for months does look different than the tape in the Anthonys' garage, but in other very important ways they're the same.

The fibers on the tape are badly deteriorated from facing the elements for months, but the deterioration has cleared the way to see the very distinct markings on the duct tape that show the unique brand and type. It’s the same markings Eyewitness News found on duct tape the Anthonys used to hold up Caylee posters just three days after Casey’s arrest and the same identifying markings investigators found on the duct tape on the Anthonys' gas can.

Also released amongst the more than 1,000 documents are photos of the "Bella Vita" tattoo Casey got on her back just days after Caylee disappeared. The tattoo artist told investigators when he asked Casey where Caylee was she said Caylee was fine and with the sitter and that she'd bring Caylee back with her when she returned to get another tattoo soon.

But, investigators say, Casey had already killed Caylee and, for some reason, got the tattoo that means “beautiful life” in Italian.

Snaz, can you edit the title of this thread to include the duct tape? Just so it reads pics of tattoo and duct tape? Just so everyone knows we will discuss them both here.

Ok, question. If you look closely at the duct tape, you can see tiny holes that I would say resemble like staple holes. I'm not saying the are at ALL. I'm just using that as a description so you all know what I'm talking about.

What do you suspect those tiny holes are from? It really has me thinking and I don't know if it means anything at all. But it's bugging me. The other thing is, are all of these pieces ones that were on Caylee? My God, if they are, that is a lot of tape. And there is NO WAY, (NONE), that a jury would NOT believe this is the same tape from the Anthony home!

I really hope that despicable human being is enjoying her "beautiful life" behind bars. Casey should have looked at it as a privilege to have Caylee as a daughter. Caylee was a precious gift to her and she chose to be a resentful, jealous witch incapable of loving anybody but herself. Casey truly ended a beautiful life when she murdered Caylee.

Shocking photos...it appears KC's ugliness is turning inside out. The tattoo looks like a teen diary or notebook scribbling.
It's so large and pronounced..... she meant it. So the timing of her inking says it all.

You can also see the waistband chain marks around her waist once she has her shirt pulled up. It's almost satisfying to see her this way, humiliated.

And her eyes, a total blank void.

okay.. i am not being mean or trying to be pithy here, BUT.. i had a patient the other day that had AIDS, and he had a skin rash that looked strikingly similar to the marks on the BOTTOM of KC's back.

I know the top is covered in moles (yuck) but i am talking about on her lower back...

i wonder if all that partying she did is catching up with her in more ways than one???

I'm not a nurse or doctor, but whatever it is doesn't look healthy at all.

there is a dot inside the two stars but not the third.. oversight, or intentional to represent caylee being gone..

you people amaze me sometimes with the small details that you catch.. i looked at that pic several times, and i could have stared at it for days and not caught that...

i think you should all have a seat reserved with the pros to help them find these itty bitty things that could mean something not so itty bitty..

Thanks AJ...I had not noticed that. Does it have a meaning or was it a fluke on the "artist".....although I don't think he was much of an artist. It reminds me of a jailhouse tattoo, or she didn't have much cash to pay for a nicer one.
Maybe the tattoo guy will have the answer for that. If she requested it, or it just happened.

Exactly, Piper... that is a question easily answered by asking the guy who inked the tattoo for her. And I believe LE has spoken with him, so they may already have the answer to that.

Also, remember that she has made another appointment to go back on the 19th, I believe it was... so the tattoo parlor employee could probably clear it up very easily.
