I think it will come down to exactly what the jury instructions direct them to do as it applies to the wording in the statute for custodial interference. In fact, I found it interesting yesterday before closing statements and before the jury convened, the State actually removed one of the 3 elements in the initial charge - leaving 2. They must have felt one was "iffy".

I do believe the forgery is a foregone conclusion = G!

Posters on WS are thinking that the verdict will happen right after they convene, because they had discretion of when to start deliberations and they chose the normal 10:30 am start... not sooner. You'd think they would want to get going.

We shall see.

One of the defense points was that there wasn't any evidence of verbal conspiracy to keep the baby from Logan. There are a lot of things TS did, ie: going to the courthouse aka law library with Eliz. and talking about jurisdictions etc. but there wasn't anything that they both agreed upon to do to keep the baby from Logan. Anyway she said it much more eloquently than I. Vinnie on IS is discussing it now.

I agree with you Freckles. I believe if I were on the jury, she is guilty. But, there were some technicalities that if a juror wanted to hang his hat on I think they could. I have to hope that AZ doesn't have the village idiots that we have here in Fl.

Gabriel was NOT their child.
How much interaction did they really have with this baby?
You can count the days, the hours. Yet they profess this intense love of SOMEONE'S baby that was NOT related to them in ANYWAY. When did they bond? Or does TS/JS just "love" every baby out there?

They did such a smack up job raising their own children, didn't they?
What happened to that home study required by AZ?
Were the Smiths just going to try to bypass that?

BTW, they still don't have adoption ready for Savannah, Hannah's bio 1/2 sister.

I agree with you all. Watching IS and still pretty shocked that TS would go online and advertise for a surrogate with her husband really not knowing. What would she do if she found one....just show up with a baby , oh right she did that already.

tess, I thought they would have a verdict today too. I would think by tomorrow they hopefully, find her Guilty.

They will start deliberations at 9:30 am MST if it is 12:30 pm EST as InSession tweeted. It is 11:30 am CDT for me.

I had not heard this before today. This is the telephone call EJ placed to TS from jail. Listen to the condescending and nasty tone TS used with the mother of the baby she wanted to adopt. She CONDEMNS EJ for supposedly wanting to place her child in adoption. EJ maintains EJ gave the baby to a couple TS told her to meet --- that TS knows who they are! EJ calls TS a nut and says she threw EJ under the bus; TS states EJ belongs under the bus for giving up her baby. Then, TS tells EJ she is going to get beat up and raped in prison.
Wow. The jury DID hear this!!! So glad they saw this side of her. EJ tells TS that TS lied on the papers; TS responds she did not see it that way--- she was only helping EJ.

Wow. What a dangerous witch

How many times has a stranger walked up to you and asked you to adopt their child?

How many times has a stranger walked up to one of your friends and asked them to adopt their child?

To be honest, I have never heard of a stranger walking up to another stranger and asking them to adopt their child. So. How is it THREE different and unrelated women EACH have sposedly asked TS to adopt their babies?

She has a total obssession with the whole baby thing. Even though her attorney said he wouldn't classify it that way. He didn't know about the 3 ads that she posted for a surrogate. Hell, her husband didn't know it either. She appears to be a complete narcissist to me. Its all about her and her feelings, how she thinks, what she wants etc. The way I am looking at this is that the forgery should be a slam-dunk for the jury since she admitted it. The custodial interference should be too, but I can see some discussion but not to much more.
To answer your question...none. Although one look at me and people wouldn't want any baby I had....I'm old.

Exactly! Hopefully this jury will use their critical thinking skills. It's crazy enough that she approached and asked these young women for the babies, however it moves into the dangerous and potentially criminal zone because she takes action on it and won't let go. She's like a dog with a bone - (w/apolly's to our furry friends)!

I caught the interview Vinnie P. had with Rachel "Jack In The Box" Hoover and he showed her where TS had claimed that Rachel received $80,000 for her son....Rachel laughed and said - ummm, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I did not.

TS is dangerous...imo.

I hope this jury is taking its time to REVIEW THE EVIDENCE.

Beth Karas just reported that not all jurors have shown up yet. 6 out of the 8 are there. this might be a long time if they are not going to put the time in. Yesterday plus Tues was only a total of 4 + hours of deliberation. I know the judge gave them great latitude, but come on guys.
