It will soon be 8 months that TJ Murray went missing.

I can not understand why the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - TX (MCSO) has done very few Press Conferences. If I remember correctly, there was one Presser within days of TJ gone missing.

MCSO needs to hold a Press Conference and reach out to the public for leads.

I wonder if MCSO is still actively working TJ's case. I just can not understand why MCSO has not reached out to the public for leads in TJ's case. It boggles my mind!

TJ needs to be found and brought home!

Investigators now suspect foul play and announced some new information regarding TJ's disappearance. They say TJ and his friend visited two bars that night, leaving TJ's car at the first bar and taking his friend's car to the second bar. They also say that TJ was kicked out of the second bar after getting in a fight with multiple patrons. According to an earlier post by Ann - Tx, TJ's friend must not have seen the fight because he stated that he went to the rest room and came back to find TJ gone, so he assumed that TJ had left.

I am glad to see media coverage for TJ Murray's case. Special thanks to KHOU - Houston and KBTX - Bryan, TX for the most recent coverage.

It took Montgomery County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) 8 months to suspect foul play! Incredible! They should have suspected foul play from day 1.

Perhaps they will now aggressively investigate TJ's case. It is past time for a break in this case.

I think it would be very effective if MCSO would hold a Press Conference regarding TJ's case. They just might generate some valuable leads!

If it had not been for the Houston area media and a Bryan, TX TV station keeping TJ's name in the news the past months, TJ Murray would not have had any media coverage except for an initial joint Press Conference with MCSO and Mr. Murray (TJ's father) in October, 2011.

MCSO get off of your butts and do a Press Conference. Invite all Houston area media and KBTX - Bryan. Reach out to the general public for leads to help solve the TJ Murray case. Explain the timeline. Perhaps it will "jog" some one's memory during the time period that TJ went missing!

I bet if this was a beautiful female college student missing, perhaps MCSO would have been all over the case.

Special thanks to all of the Houston area media and KBTX - Bryan for all of the coverage you have done on TJ Murray's case since he went missing. I clearly understand it is rather hard to do a story when there are no Press Conferences by MCSO or an indication of pertinent info that might generate new leads.

Still waiting for a Press Conference by MCSO! Swallow your pride, MCSO, and reach out to the public for leads! TJ Murray has a family that love and care about him. It is past time that TJ Murray is found and brought home and those responsible for his "disappearance" are held accountable!

I think MCSO needs to request the help of the Texas Rangers. Maybe the Texas Rangers can solve this case! We are talking about the case of a Sam Houston State University student who went missing in October, 2011.

I pray that I never, ever have a relative or friend go missing in Montgomery County, TX.

In the TV markets that covered TJ's story, where one TV viewing area ends; another picks up.

For example, Houston TV stations have a huge radius that can receive their signal (viewing audience). To the northwest, KBTX - Bryan would have a large viewing radius. Farther to the northwest, Waco would have a huge viewing radius area.

To the east/northeast, coverage from the Houston TV stations should have reached almost to Beaumont, Tx; to the south, the Gulf of Mexico area such as Galveston, Freeport, etc; to the west, Austin County and beyond; southeast - Fort Bend County and beyond; to the northwest - Washington and Fayette Counties, etc.

Where Houston's coverage ended to the northwest, Bryan and Waco's coverage would have "kicked" in.

Waco is approximately 200 miles from Houston.

Will Murray

The death of a young Montgomery County man whose brother disappeared months ago and still hasn’t been found has been ruled a drowning, an official said Wednesday.

Will Murray, 21, who lives in the Oak Ridge North area, was swimming with friends Tuesday at the Guadalupe River in Comal County. He disappeared under the water and was pulled out by friends about 30 minutes later, just as emergency personnel arrived.

OMG, I am so sorry for this family, losing 2 sons within a year's time. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

Still praying TJ is found, and justice can be served.

Missing student TJ Murray remembered one year later

A candlelight vigil will be held tonight for a Sam Houston State University student who has been missing for one year today. The vigil and a 5-minute moment of silence will take place today at 8:30 p.m. at Rookies Sports Bar in Spring.

Thomas “TJ” Murray, Jr., disappeared from the parking lot of Rookies Sports Bar on the night of Oct. 18, 2011. He had borrowed his father’s truck to go barhopping with friends that night.

The truck was still in the parking lot, but his cell phone was found in a nearby ditch.

“I still can’t believe it’s been a year. I am told, ‘time heals all wounds’, but for me the pain and sense of loss hasn’t diminished much over the last twelve months. We all miss him so much,” Justin Snyder, Murray’s cousin, said.

To be out of contact with his family was unlike the almost 24-year-old Murray.

KHOU (CBS) - Houston, TX just had info about the Vigil and TJ Murray missing on their 10 pm News.

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- Dozens of friends and family gathered in Spring Thursday night for a vigil for a college student who hasn't been seen in one year.

The candlelight vigil was a tribute to a young man whose disappearance is still a mystery. It was held in the parking lot of Rookies Sports Bar off Sawdust Road. That's where Thomas "TJ" Murray, Jr.'s truck was last seen just after midnight on October 19, 2011.

Hi, sitemama!

TJ was using his father's truck that night. It was found in the parking lot of the sports bar.

His car was at his father's home.

Some of the media reported that "TJ's truck was . . . ." It was not TJ's truck.
