Thanks Honeysage! It was speculated that the brother placed the call while the dad and other brother went to canvas the area. So my guess is that the dad & brother are walking the streets and the other brother stays behidn and calls 911. The 911 dispatcher may have mistaken the brother's voice as being that of a girl (hey, if he's a chip off the old block, it's not a stretch, right?). So when the brother said Isabel was his sister, the dispatcher very likely mistook that to mean that the caller was female and therefore was the sister of Isabel and transcribed it as such.

So the transcripts confirm that mom was en route back home from work and not yet at home. This means Becky was called before 911. Why? Dunno. Maybe to confirm with her that Becky did not have Isabel??

The real question to me becomes -- was Sergio even ever in the house overnight once everyone got to bed??? Not only do I want to know who was the last to see Isa .... I want to know who was the last to see Sergio? And when?? Was he at home. It it possible he was just strolling in at 8am and the kids had been alone from the time their mom had left for work?

Those are very interesting questions. I am very concerned about the fact that he is not allowed to be in contact with his sons, that is an unusual measure if the police doesn't believe that he is somehow involved with Isabel's disappearance.

I am wondering if someone had gone there to inquire about Isa and if a nun had made the call while Sergio and the older boy continued to ask after Isa in the neighborhood.

I am turning towards the opinion that perhaps CPS involvement could be an advisory one in that LE may see a potential offedender-non offending mother family dynamic here, which could bring any case to a freeze.

It is hard to speculate with out knowing what it is that LE has observed that sought them to warrant the assessment by CPS and the subsequent VOLUNTARY agreement of no contact.

These things come to mind:

-are there indications that the other children need to be protected at least as witnesses if nothing else.

-observation of becky with out the hovering of Serge: will her cooperation change because of the emotional shift brought about by separation from Sergio.

-Is Isabel's disappearance a clarifying event for Becky and with light of new information: evidence or LE maybe sharing with Becky that Sergio (if suspected) is trying to spread the blame, will she change her position and will different testimony come to light from her. Will this make her see things in their home in a different way, that she was unable to have seen before because of sheer life and the influence of her husband.

-It gives LE the opportunity to do more behavioral analysis that may help weigh evidence obtained so far.

There definitely is the possibility of family dynamic that could stagnate this investigation and I think for that alone LE was very wise to attempt this now. The way that they have done it, VOLUNTARILY, has for the moment delayed the involvement of legal counsel for Sergio and Becky which really would have put the kabosh on finding the truth about Isabel.

Tucson Police Chief Roberto Villaseñor said the 911 audio tapes from that morning would be released to the media after today's press briefing.

OMG!! Becky had me crying along with her. Sergio, on the other hand is freaking me out...beyond calm. told 911 operator he called Becky at work and told her to "get her butt home...ha-ha-ha" he then described Isa's eyes as "clear"...huh?! he fell asleep watching game at midnight..didn't hear anything. "my wife just got home and she is kind of freaking out and hysterical"...which he said in totally matter of fact manner.
gonna have to listen to tapes a few times.

i don't know who 1st caller is...sounds like neighbor? was helping out the young boy...then you hear the boy, then mom. Sergio's call seems to be a separate call. i think the son was walking around neighborhood and someone else made initial call for him.

when Sergio described Isa's eyes as "clear" (OMG!) the operator tried to clarify...she said are they hazel? he cut her off and said "yeah, green-hazel...sure" it was very, very odd-almost annoyed, how do you not immediately know the color of your child's eyes???

It is so good to see everyone here. NG said it i bs that LE doesn't want Celis' to let public know about poly's. I tend to agree with her. Ithink it would be good to let the public know that. On the ABC Nancy said while talking to DanAbrams that maybe dad was coaching the boys in what to say. It makes a little sense, but is that strong enough to keep dad from boys ? Can LE seek to have cps make that decision ?

in the Breann Rodriguez case, the parents came out themselves to say they had failed the polygraph...they were completely innocent! i have so much respect for them for having done that, pass or fail-they knew they were innocent and only cared about finding their daughter.

I read not too long ago on statement analysis (sorry can't link, I'll try to find it) but saying hello on a 911 is sensitive. A person in true panic doesn't say hello ! A little off topic, Jose Baez is on Dr. Drew tonight !!

Sergio speaks English as a second language, something got lost in translation when he tried to describe the color of Isabel's eyes, he sounds frustrated because the color of her eyes are "light", like in "clear", which in Spanish usage would be: "ojos claros".

See I think I read that before too either on a Statement Analysis site. His words, his demeanor, his lack of the need to find her now all speaks volume to me.

Poor Isabel! I can't quit thinking about her. I believe now more than ever that Sergio did something to her. He is so creepy it's scary. I know others think Rebecca might be involved in the cover up, but I'm just not buying it. She had a real fear in her voice that you just can't fake.

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say the father of a missing Tucson girl was alone with her when she disappeared. But police say that doesn't mean he's a suspect.

Authorities have been searching for 6-year-old Isabel Mercedes Celis since she was reported missing the morning of April 21.

Not saying I am clearing anyone... Just that I had a friend that when she was in full panic would laugh. The more terrified she was the harder she laughed. He may have chuckled because he told her to get her butt home... may be some kind of private joke or because he cleaned it up for 911 maybe he actually had said "a$$"
Still think it is serious stuff to keep him from even talking to the boys... so will have to wait for that to be disclosed... if they do disclose why!

This story just gets more and more creepy. I would really love to know if Sergio passed his LDT. How was he alone with her? Weren't the boys at home? If Mom left at 7, and 911 was called at 8, that's not much time.....

I didn't get a chance to listen to the press conference. The article doesn't elaborate on the statement about Sergio being alone with Isabel. I was also under the impression that the boys were home.

yeah i don't understand this either...maybe they just mean alone for that 1 hour after Becky left for work...not including the sons (for some reason). weird reporting.

yeah i don't understand this either...maybe they just mean alone for that 1 hour after Becky left for work...not including the sons (for some reason). weird reporting.

Well it sounds like they are referring to a moment in time, as it says "when she disappeared" which is different then saying he was the last one to
See her, which could infer she was alone or not when she disappeared.

It sounds like specific language while not being direct.

They are kind of saying:

Sergio knows what happened.

i agree Tamta-it was demeaning and disrespectful, like he was puffing his chest out-oddly enough he was speaking to a female 911 operator, so i'm not sure who he was trying to impress besides himself.

i don't think it's any coincidence that this very tight lipped police dept. has all of a sudden announced CPS involvement-removal of Sergio from his children and now this 911 tape in a matter of days. they seem to be backing him into the confessional corner-they are isolating him and i hope he talks soon.

That's probably true.

I hope I read the transcript correct, the father states that he fell asleep in front of the TV in the living room and didn't hear a sound. He states she was on the other side of wall, so this would be so different then sleeping on the other side of the house. I know there was talk about them not hearing someone break in because house was large and master bedroom was on the other side of the children's rooms. This case has always been strange to me. I feel so sorry for her brothers.
