I agree with your comments. I brushed Vega off. He DID concern me, however, when he said he talked regularly with Sergio updating Sergio on the baseball games and the boys' performances. If he was to have no contact with the boys, I have to wonder if this isn't a violation of the instructions???

Reading about the possibility Isabel may be in Mexico and I think that is a high possibility. I have seen children threatened by their parents that if the child did not bring up grades, change specific behavior, etc., the child WOULD be sent to stay with relatives in Mexico. Before you knew, the child was gone and the parents would tell me the child was "visiting " some relative in Mexico. If this is not the case, the commentator on the Huffington Post may be drawing from his own experience.

I don't know what harm it does for Vega to be in contact with him -- if Becky also had restrictions not to have any contact with Sergio then I would see your point and could possibly view Vega's contact as a covert way to relay information or influence back and forth to the boys. However, since Sergio has no restrictions on this verbal or physical contact with Becky -- he can just as easily do the same through her with no help from Vega. If that is what you are referring to.

IIRC, there were a total of 3 dogs:

Cadaver
Scent-for Isa's scent
Scent - for stranger's scent

A dog made a hit.

I don't think we've ever heard which specialized dog made a hit.

Has anyone else heard which dog made the hit?

I had not heard there was a total of 3 different types of dogs - only a cadaver dog and a "Foreign Scent" dog. However, assuming the above is true, then would it be safe to rule out the hit as being the "Isa's scent" dog sniffer? Because the hit occurred in Isa's home...where we would expect there to be her scent and so word of a hit of Isa's scent - in her own home - would not be newsworth (I would think at least).

Now, are we SURE the two older boy's are Becky's biological children? We've read over and over that they're with her, but is there any chance this isn't the case?

I read it as they are Sergio's boys with his ex-wife (not Becky) and they are now with their mom. Maybe I misunderstood, but it sure is odd wording if mom is Becky.

They are married and the kids are theirs.

Wait a minute, is this true?! HOW could I have missed this? I had no idea there WAS an ex-wife or that the two boys weren't Becky's children. Was/is this common knowledge?? If so, I guess I'm the one who doesn't know the details of such a high-profile case. Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh... how did I miss this? What a splintered family. I can't even imagine what any one of them are thinking or feeling. A family of five, and then boom, all splintered to the wind. Those poor boys. Poor Mom. Poor Sergio, IF he's not involved with Isa's disappearance. This is so heart-breaking, even more than I realized. I had visions of Becky carrying on for her other two kids, of the three of them at least being there, with and for each other. IF Sergio isn't barred from seeing Becky, and Becky is NOT IN CHARGE of the two boys, then why are Sergio and Becky separated? This is way hinkier than it first appeared to me, since I was missing the tidbit about the boys and where and whose they are. I could have SWORN I read somewhere that the two boys and Becky were back living in the house, and Sergio was elsewhere. I feel like I've just lost my bearings entirely.

I know it's just supposition, but it seems to me that Becky clearly thinks (or knows) that Sergio is involved. What could have brought them to this!? It's horrifying! I had hope until now. Now I don't know what to think or feel.

Yes I tracked the rumor back to them today.

The original article is not available anymore but later today I can post the next closest offender, CBS, which happens to be KPHO affiliate.

Today this confusion seem to resurface all around for some reason but I believe it began 5/10 originally.

I would've crossed that dark line where it would've been far too painful to continue following the case, at least on a day-to-day basis. Whew!

If I were Becky I would think the entire WORLD had gone mad for all the crazy rumors and speculation, adding on top that now the news is saying her CHILDREN aren't her CHILDREN. How will she ever trust another person again as long as she lives?

Did you see all the comments and freak-outs at the bottom? This is a BAD rumor, and potentially changing of public perception of the family and events. I hope it's nipped in the bud PRONTO. LE should make a statement, I think it's that important.

The Search for Isabel Celis Continues – The Father Voluntarily Agrees to Leave the Home

CPS and law enforcement are partners, each with defined responsibilities and access to different types of records and tools, skills and abilities. The two agencies pool their resources.

Due to a change in the law made by the legislature, CPS was given permission to call Department of Public Safety to get information. The number of requests was limited and the time for DPS to answer could be two hours, several hours or days or weeks later…initially. It was a work in progress.

In about 2009/2010, the Agency was allowed its own access to DPS records after receiving training as to confidentiality. No training or material was provided on how to read the records or understand them, what the codes meant and how to navigate the site.

A lot of questions have centered around whether one of the windows was the way in our out of the house for whoever took Isabel Celis. Isabel's father Sergio suggested he's beginning to question that theory.

"I will say initially, but then after more investigating, and I don't want to go too far about that, I am just not sure anymore. And I think that's as far as I can speak about that."

You don't appear in court to get an extension on dog tags.

Whar dear Sergio was in court for was

Two counts of Dog Running At Large,
Three counts of No Current License and
Three counts of No Current Vaccination.

can we expect comments about his previous criminal history even though many charges were dismissed?

It doesn't mean that CPS hadn't directly communicated with Sergio.
CPS were called in back in december, why would that be?
They don't get called in for no reason, someone somewhere made a complaint.
Don't you think it strange that CPS get called in in december and a few months down the line a 6 year old little girl goes missing from the house.
Does it not bother you that sergio is banned from all contact with his sons?
Even child abusers can get supervised visitation with their parent.
Sergio voluntarily accepted the ban, he had to otherwise it would have gone before a judge and the reasons why he is banned would come out.

One has to ask why you are actively supporting a man who failed to make any plea to the 'abductor ' for a week, whose priority was money first isabel last, has failed a polugraph ( if he had passed there would be no reason for him not to announce it from the rooftops) whose 911 called showed not only deception but also innapropriate behavior

Why not be unhappy at the fact Isabel is missing and her parents aren't co-operating

What other misstruths can we expect?

It is difficult to accept a family member has commited a serious crime, would sje let her children hve sleepover in his house knowing what is known? A 6 yr old sleeping with her 10 and 14 yr old brothers?
having an 'uncle' with a drug history staying over?

methinks not.

I don't give a rat's ass about her perception of the family bashing, this case is about ISABELA & who took her. It's time for the family to take a long hard look at themselves & the image they & LE have projected to the public, then, look at LE continuing to ASK for the public's help but as of this date, the family is not even cleared yet. Quirky mannerisms of Sergio make him seem strange but it doesn't mean he has done something to Isa, BUT, what does it mean?

It's sad the family remains under the umbrella of suspicion, but somethings up in the family, more than Isabela missing it seems.

Two counts of Dog Running At Large,
Three counts of No Current License and

The main thing that speaks to me is the lack of urgency in searching and finding Isabel displayed in the family's conduct.

It is really very troubling.

It begs the asking of deeper questions.

When searching for familial references to the drawing on the walls recent hype, I re-watched this vid.

Note in Part 3, Sergio is talking about how the boys are doing.

He says the word "healing", then appears to catch himself and redirect.

It is painful to have a missing child, but if the child is missing and hopefully to be returned, why would you be healing???
