Yes the room mates girlfriend was supposed to tend Napoleon but since the body wasn't discovered until the night before he was scheduled to go on the cruise I don't know why anyone would tend him. At least I think I got that right..Marie was the one scheduled to go on the trip with him and she is the one who rallied all there to find him due to his not responding to her attempts at trying to contact him regarding the trip.

It still really bothers me how Travis lay there that long without the room mates or the ones girlfriend noticing an odor..hungry or no his poor lil doggie knew he was gone up there..they know.

I can see not smelling him... he was way back in the bathroom down this long hallway... Air conditioned house, no real air circulation around where he was... It finally started to get to his room door around the time they found him... he was tucked away in a cool temp.... slower decomp... Once they opened his b-room door it wafted the air around and then it started filling up the house from all the movement...

Yes...because I did not see the prosection's case, I was wondering if they had proof that Travis knew Jodi was coming or not...I know everything she says is a lie, so unless he told someone, we'll never know for sure...

I remember reading two theories on whether Travis knew she was coming or not. One was no he did not know and that was the reason they police could charge her with felony burglary. The second one was again no he didn't know she was coming and was in fact asleep in his bedroom. Police (or some talking head) speculated that this was the time Jodi was able to break into his e-mails. I'm very confused and so over this lying b!tch I can't stand to look at her. Now looking forward to cross. Hope JM has been reading here and watching the 'screamin' demons' (JVM & NG)

A lie has to have some element of truth to latch onto, to fit it into a given scenario. I found one! Recall Jodi stating she/Travis brought her luggage into the house? Yep. Betcha it was placed in the bedroom closet. Travis does not appear to like clutter or disorganization; putting clothing with clothing makes sense and Jodi probably "wanted to hang a few things up so they won't wrinkle."

The gun and the knife and the other tools of her trade were in the suitcase and that was put in the closet. However, unlike her fib, she did NOT shoot him in the closet; no blood splatter there and the closet was in pristine order. Nope. Shell casing was in the bathroom near the north sink, the one with the blood on it. (I do think she first stabbed him in the chest in the shower, however, and he went to the sink to evaluate the damage, staunch the bleeding. Then his legs went out on him and as she told the detectives, he said, "I can't feel my legs!" And Travis stated crawling down the hallway. When Jodi saw her prey was excaping, she jumped on his back and repeatedly began knifing him. When he completely collapsed, she slit his throat for being such a poor sport. ---I wonder where she learned that neat little trick? Dad take her hunting with him?--- Jodi hauled Travis back as he was going through death spasms; she thought he was STILL alive so she grabbed the gun and shot him again.

I was thinking the same thing!!

She has some balls. I pray this jury has some sense and aren't falling for her bs.

I hope they are smart enough to question what she says, look at the pictures, her statements, her interviews by police (and 48 Hours) and her "No jury will ever convict me, mark my words" smug/cocky attitude.

I hurt for the loss of his opportunity in his own life.
One should not have to pay this way for friending another.
I hurt for Tanesha, his older sister, who looks like the hell she has gone through with the loss of her little brother.
When they were small, she looked out for him and he for her and together they watched over the others.

Samantha is a police officer; she is tougher and probably has more resources, such as counseling and co-workers, who have helped her through this terrible tragedy.

No matter what, the trauma to this family is immense.
The grandmother, "mum-mum" was alive when Travis was murdered by Jodi, a person she had in her home a few times. Now, the parents and the grands are not here and only the sibs are here to see justice for Travis.

I send the family peace. May their memories bring them joy and comfort.

California May Have To Hire Wiccan Chaplain


California prisons hire full-time chaplains and spiritual leaders to serve Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Protestant and Native American inmates.

On Tuesday, a federal appeals court gave new life to a decades-long battle by Wiccan inmates for access to their own full-time chaplain.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a trial judge's dismissal of a Wiccan prisoner lawsuit seeking the same rights as the five other religious practices. The appeals court said the Wiccan prisoners make a compelling argument that the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation may be unconstitutionally showing preference to the five religions in violation of the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees religious freedoms.

The appeals court ruled that the trial court judge was wrong to dismiss the case almost immediately after it was filed without delving deeper into the evidence. For instance, the court said it could be that a Wiccan chaplain could be needed only at the Chowchilla prison rather than throughout the 33-prison statewide system of 150,000 inmates.

In my early twenties, I remember trying to cut up fresh trout. It was so repulsive and it felt so flesh like. Cutting up chicken would leave me in the bathroom retching. When a neighbor opened the crop a pheasant, I ran from the room. Call me squeamish. I just don't see how ANYONE can so calmly slit the throat of another person let alone to the point of near decapitation. It is such a disgraceful, denigrating, dehumanizing and vile act. And she sits there cool as a cucumber weighing her words and body language to her audience in the court but especially the jury and Travis' family.

Tomorrow and the next few days I pray Juan Martinez has the courage to ply his talents at slowly unraveling her and exposing the despicable beast she is.

I am waiting for an outburst from someone in Arias' family followed by Nurmi objecting to something to show his support of her family. Perhaps it will be a g-a-s-p or a shaking of a head in disgust at Martinez but it will be a performance meant for the jury.

Reviewing the testimony from yesterday and something occurred to me. I am sure it is apparent to you, as well, but I want to bring it to the board. If you go to @ 46:00, you will see documentation of what I am pointing out:

WHY is it Jodi easily maintains relationships with her old sex partners, ya' know, those males she talked about and how each and everyone she dutifully loved until the next and better one came along, and Travis can not have a platonic relationship with ANY female, married or single, without incurring the wrath and jealousy of Jodi?

Huh? Is she really believing she is entitled to this one-sideness? HE (regardless of which male friend) MUST remain adoring to her while SHE gets to cast her wonky eye about looking for a better meal ticket?

She is a user, a manipulator and I am GLAD Travis called her on it! However, it might have been better for him to have NOT called her out for it threatened her eqo with a loss of control over her subject.

While she has talked and rambled on about Travis' "problem" so far, it is unevidenced. Nothing on the computer, in the home or about him which his friends noticed. While there may have been sexual exploration on his part, SHE was the aggressor AND the provider. There is NOTHING to show he had ANY abnormal interest in children or young females. With all the other LDS females he was a perfect gentleman.

As for her insistence on giving him some pamphlets:
There are NONE out there addressing pedophilia and self-help. Another web site did extensive research to see if they could locate ANYTHING on the web as one poster is a DHS worker and thought it could be beneficial for some of her clients. NOTHING was located. In fact, social workers have advised AGAINST putting out pamphlets for fear of drawing encouragement and false accusations in the communities.

So when Jodi talks of giving this to Travis and his "problem" understand it is NOT substantiated. She is making slander upon his name in order to blame the victim and appear to be his unrecognized savior.

(Did I tell you she is really pissing me off? Yeah. I thought I did! )

She is crazy with her manipulative controls and needs, IMO. Me, me, me, I, I, mine, my, me =good in her mind.

Now, Ryan noticed bandages on her fingers and she said she had broken a glass working at Margaretville, fake name for where she really works in Yreka.
(Later, in trial testimony, JA states she ha broken a glass at Travis' "the night before" and, of course, there is no evidence of broken glass at his home. And she had gotten to Travis' early in the morning, slept, sexed, murdered Travis and was GONE before nightfall. So she just keeps on with the lies!)

Thanks, Freckles! I've seen this movie many times, but when I saw it again last week on TV, I was thinking of this trial, and the song popped into my head today. Even Dr. Drew made a comment about this song on his show tonight. Scarily fitting!

You are so right Freckles...I hadn't thought of how gross it is just to cut up raw meat for kebabs or stew... The prosecutor should use some of that in his closing...I think he will be very hard on J. and hard and to the point in closing, and I for one think he should! She took the life of someone who was a friend to jodi and helped her! He was attracted to her and complimented her and the sex was consensual. From the emails we see that it was only Jodi's selfish, immature, creepy behavior that drove him away, and even when she did the outrageous---tire slashing etc., he never had her arrested or went after HER with a knife, beat her up, etc. (IN OTHER WORDS WAS NOT ABUSIVE AT ALL!)
Travis deserves justice and Juan will do his best to get it.

It just made me sad and sick that at the last, Jodi's testimony was all about HER, and a ploy to garner sympathy from the jury. I, like someone who posted above was horrified when I heard her say that now she felt Travis was in a better place, etc.
Along those lines, are you all aware that after Travis' death, Jodi sent a condolences bouquet of white Irises to HIS GRANDMA!!!! (Evidently the gran loves white iris, and Travis wanted to name a little girl Iris if he had one!!)
I was almost sick. How twisted and creepy is it FOR A MURDERER TO SEND FLOWERS TO THE VICTIM'S GRANNY PRETENDING SHE'S INNOCENT WITH NOTHING TO HIDE, AND JUST SOME FRIEND OF TRAVIS' SENDING HER SYMPATHIES!
