was thinking about something... If TA was so full of bravado and was a take charge guy why would he have a pug? I mean I have a 100lb GSD and an 85lb lab/rotti mix... and I can be 'loud' when i need to be... lol But a pug? to me that shows sweet and fun? lol

Just as an aside...I used to work in maximum security jail, not prison, but it is very loud because its all steel and cinderblock. No one sleeps very well there. You have the noise and also the necessity of watching your back. It is not PTSD...its normal in prison.

I believe she has spoke of suicide many times actually.I also suspect the reason Samuels seems so attached to her is not due to an attraction or fatherly feelings. I think it's cause he knew right away what she is and like me and other normal decent human beings he feels empathy towards her.

IMO, JA threatens suicide when she does not get her way, when she feels backed into a corner. She uses it as a tool to get her way.

Apparently, she threatened suicide in hs and to Matt; friends of TA alluded to this, as well. Affect is the same regardless of the situation.

Her mother flew out to Mesa in April to help her daughter out.

And she gets pissy and KICKS her in a public restaurant???

Was her mother trying to talk some sense into her? Like "hey, why don't you just let whats gone stay gone...stop chasing this guy...come home and start over"

understandable. In order for me to get to where I can feel empathy towards a sociopath tho I have to remember at one point in time the monster was a baby. A very needy baby,no doubt,who's needs were not quiet being met. Growing up they know there is something wrong with them..they learn to mimic..they learn to act just to fit in but they never do. I find it extremely sad and feel more needs to be done towards the study of this as I think it has become apparent this is no longer a rare occurence in our society. Please know tho I do not believe it is possible to fix this once the behaviorable problems start showing..not sure it can be fixed but if it is I imagine it would have to be VERY early on.

so Juan attempts to get the baboon to speak of issues that clearly show she was not so normal BEFORE having met and killed Travis and the defense sidesteps and sidebars it into oblivion. Not really sure that's gonna work for em.
I told my husband last night I am pretty sure at this point she is going to get murder 1 but I am doubting they will give her the death penalty as they really have not had anything outside the murder itself to show em how scary this woman really is.

I don't think many of us really believed her 'abuse' stories, and she pretty much equated discipline with abuse, admitted to breaking the rules and that she was not really welcome at her house and went to live with gma, we know now that she hit her mom as teen... Admitted to fighting with her mom all the time... We know that her mom came to mesa to help her move and now she was attacked for it... He's laying it out that JA is violent towards her own mom even when she's helping her...

And I will bet you SHE started the problem, if there was one, with Bobby! And Matt! And Darryl! And they each wimped out. Then she started an altercation with Travis over Cancun. And when he did NOT wimp out but stood his ground, she HUSTLED herself down there (according to Paul Stern) and had to confront him. When he would NOT give sway to her demands, she killed him. She killed her "golden goose"... the man who was to fulfill ALL her dreams FOR her. Whether he liked it or not.

I find it interesting that Dicky responded to a juror question that hypnosis wouldn't have worked because no memories were recorded from the gunshot to the coming out of the fog in the desert because disassociative amnesia does not allow for this; yet she claims to remember dropping the gun, screaming, knowing "something bad" just happened, being afraid to dial 911. These are things she actually cops to remembering following the slaughter. So which is it Dr. Dick...there are no memories recorded or she remembers the whole darn thing? Do you think he actually "gets" how foolish he is sounding? Cool
