To me it would be very devastating if Jodi were to get a manslaughter or second degree murder conviction. It is NOT o.k.
Maybe 10 years in the slammer for a premeditated killing that was complete carnage? NO WAY. I can't be easy with that---No Ma'am.
I could live with life without the possibility of parole, although like so many, I hope for the death penalty. ANYTHING less than a murder one verdict in this case would be a travesty of justice in a big way, and not something I could EVER be philosophical about.
It would be a kick in the ass to our system, and a kick in the heart to Travis' loved ones.
Sorry, but this is NOT a slap-on-the-wrist case.
18, I am with you on wanting the DP for her. After all she said that she would beg for the DP if she have done anything to hurt TA. She knows she deserves the DP, so give it to her, I do not want to watch another second of the witch, unless I could watch her beg for the DP that she knows she deserves.

...And another thing....
I am SICK of this judge and her "too prejudicial" rulings on everything the prosecution wants to present. Every damn day it's some conference or innumerable sidebars instigated by Jodi and her defense team.
As for Juan's rebuttal witnesses, DUH! Rebuttal means you REBUT THE DEFENSE TESTIMONY THAT HAS BEEN PRESENTED, AND THAT BY IT'S VERY NATURE IS GOING TO BE PREJUDICIAL TO THE DEFENDANT!
This is a murder trial and the prosecution has to present the FACTS IN EVIDENCE, AND UH, HELLO, THOSE FACTS ARE A DIRECT CONTRADICTION OF THE LIES THE DEFENSE TEAM AND THEIR WITNESSES SPUN!
Oh boo hoo, the defense team doesn't like that their client is a liar and a murderer and that evidence to show that is coming out. What the h---do they think a trial is!
I am sick of Wilmot's childish temper fits. I am sick of that perv Nurmi, and I am sick of lying, manipulative Jodi and what they have collectively done in the name of "justice". They made a joke of this whole thing, and have trashed a dead man's reputation and devastated his grief stricken family all over again.
It's akin to a rape victim being made out to be a slut in court so the 'perp' can 'get off'.

This is boring.
Like who would want to do time for threatening JA or her team?
They are not worth it, IMO...

Good morning.. I think today will a the Perry Mason moment that I have been waiting for..Yeah.. I have been a working Hairstylist/Owner/ wanna be PI..Hee Hee. So the whole did she didn't she color her hair on the trip has been my thing.. She said under oath she colored her hair brown mid May and never colored it again. Not true.. On the same Walmart receipt showing she bought a gas can JA also bought 2 boxes of Nutress Permanent Haircolor a Neutral Brown they named Truffle. ( Not 2 Sunscreen's ..I know how to read color codes. ) Also 2 facial cleaners she would need to get color stains off skin around hairline..Time stamped Salinas Walmart around 3:40pm she was at Arco gas station Pasadena 8:45 (Salinas to Pasadena 5 hrs.) Minimum time needed to color hair her thickness and length i.e apply process shampoo is 2 hours. she left Pasadena 9:00pm it's a 5 hr drive to Mesa, she arrived 4:00am this gives her 2 hrs to color her hair(maybe a truck stop.. They all rent shower rooms) The only other time she could have colored her hair is at Travis's home.Maybe when she said they went to sleep 5am to 1pm. I Don't know where, but I do know she did.

What??? No sunscreens, you say? Now I have to go take a closer look at the Walmart receipts. I have been thinking this whole time that she bought sunscreen for the trip to Cancun. You know, that sun and fun filled trip to Cancun that JA was so sure TA owed her. Jodi's rightful spot on Travis arm that she worked so hard to earn.
I'm just not sure why Jodi would feel the need to recolor her hair. What part would this play in her overall plan if JA's hair was already some shade of brown in May. Maybe she had very dark roots that she didn't want TA to see. I remember that she supposedly told a co-worker that she dyed her hair blonde to avoid people thinking she was Mexican. The brown color in the 48 Hours video is a much lighter brown than what now appears to be Arias' natural dark hair. However, the pigtails would be a convenient way to deal with wet hair that JA had no place/way to style prior to arrival at TA's house. LoriKaye, why do you think she would feel the need to dye her hair at the last minute? I'm sure you must have heard some great "hair" excuses from your clients...however, I'm pretty sure "going to murder my ex" has not been one of the excuses.

well good grief I am shocked..JW is annoying and childish but neither of these traits should cause one to feel homicidal towards her. Hope they catch the threat maker

Please read the story. Not trying to be paranoid or scare anyone,....but, I wonder if internet petitions, book reviews, phone calls, etc. directed at witnesses will be viewed as witness tampering in future cases and if it can be enforced?

lol my question above exactly... I did not sign against AL to tamper with the witness ... I signed because her judgement has done down the crapper. It is unbelievable that she would called someone who was murdered with such force and vengeance a perpetrator. By all means speak your mind but understand that if rational people then think that you are suffering burnout and should not be teaching or giving seminars we have a free voice as well!! JMOO and I don't want to seem paranoid either but really feel like this article is intimidation as well..

Yes, but she had already dyed her hair brown in May as seen in several pics. So, JA was already not a blonde. Dark roots??? JA didn't like to identify with her Mexican linage. For whatever reason, JA was not proud of being half Mexican. Maybe she didn't want TA to see her with very dark roots and identify her Mexican linage and she didn't have the time/money to go through the process of taking very dark hair to the blonde shade Travis had always known her to have. Maybe I'm reading entirely too much into this, however, why go from brown hair to "truffle" brown hair in the middle of a road trip. She apparently did dye her hair,....but why???

anybody ever see that site (cant recall name) where patients can go and see reviews written by other patients on doctors and surgeons? I have and find it VERY helpful when trying to choose one that will meet my needs. Not all the reviews are favorable and I am sure some careers may suffer due to this fact but here is my point..if one does not want bad reviews one should make damn sure they are doing their job at 100% capacity, if not more..ecspecially those in the health industry and AL falls in that category, as far as I am concerned.
As someone wrote in the very first comment under this article said..it aint about the fact AL testified on JA behalf..it is about the way she CHOSE to do it. The reviews on her book written by over a thousand people angry over this is called freedom of speech..the phone calls placed to those who were paying this woman to speak on extremely important subject matters is the same..those ARE NOT threats it is OUR RIGHT as citizens to publicly complain about so called professionals when they behave unethically or unprofessionally in their chosen field..AV is guilty of both IMO. To equate this type of speaking out with actual threats to harm someone physically is ridiculous.
ok rant over..article just got me all riled up all over again..lol

I always believed she dyed it during the trip to Mesa but I dont think she went from platinum to brown..and I dont think she did it for Travis..I think she had some black roots showing and couldn't have RYAN see her like that

Lori I have know clue which day it was with Det. F.... I remember hearing it and reading it... it was something along the lines of the neighbors couldn't of recognized her because they knew her as a blonde. I want to say it was Day 1 with street cloths... I don't know if he said we have people or neighbors that saw you and she responded back with that... I'm leaning day 1 because it sounds like she's still denying being there... I'm sure some of our memory vault people here can help point you to it... or at least confirm I'm remembering correctly

you can see in the 48 hours/TV interviews where her hair has grown out from the dyed mousey/truffle brown to the dark chestnut that it is now... I think it was disguise... Maybe JM can call the walmart chic back to the stand... if he doesn't realize it you know JA's laughing to herself thinking idiot, it's right in front of your face...

Clearly, JM would have known what was included at the Walmart trip. I can't imagine he would have only focused on the kerosene can (unless that's describing a brand) and not known what those other purchases were for

LOL. I know. I'm so addicted I barely get anything else at all done. Seriously often go without much sleep except just falling asleep in front of the computer while trying to listen to all the HLN stuff and keep up online at the same time. Don't have time in my life for this stuff and have an awful time dragging myself away.
Pretend I never said it! In Jodi's world, that would be the equivalent of making it happen, God forbid!

So you guys I am guessing Deanna Reid never did get married? That's sad. She is sweet and smart and classy and makes Jodi look like the skank she is.
Of course early 30's is not over the hill in the real world, but it's just sad since it seems she really wanted to get married by now...

In my current state, revisiting this would seriously make me go 'round the bend!!! I just wanted to shake her!

I just read a tweet where the judge is allowing the defense to present their surrebuttal witness.

Your info is excellent Lori. The haircolor issue was such an issue in the trial. I wonder why Juan did not address it when Walmart lady was on the stand.

This trial is now officially, totally out of control. I understand about trying to protect against reversal, but really, its liking making things up as you go along. I am really close to just giving up on the whole thing. I can't imagine what Travis' family is going thru.

dont suprise me at all and I am sure the jury will be just tickled to death upon being told they are going to have to sit there even longer while another so called expert attempts to blow smoke up their ass like the other two did

I agree with you. Glad I don't live in Mormon years they are like dog years. She looked like a fresh faced young lady on the stand. she was told she was to old to get married 9 years go. What the bleep!18thcenturylady wrote:So you guys I am guessing Deanna Reid never did get married? That's sad. She is sweet and smart and classy and makes Jodi look like the skank she is.

How can this new defense Dr. be allowed when he did not interview Jodi or administer all the same tests as Dr. D did? This is so totally bogus. Well, I will not be watching that. I too can't keep spending so much time on this trial, and I refuse to watch pervy Nurmi and another loser doctor.
This judge has gone too far.

Bmore wrote:Lori I have know clue which day it was with Det.
Hey- have just read the last couple posts...JA's hair was definitely dyed brown as disguise...I don't have time now to elaborate (moving, ugh!)...
She didn't go from platinum to brown with one bottle June 08, but she was blond on June 2 08 at Budget, dyed it on June 2/3 08...and yes, it was one of the first interrogation tapes w/Flores that Bmore stated...that is exactly what she responded, that the neighbors didn't know her well, only "hi, how are you" and knew her as a blond.
She most definitelyDEFINITELY DEFINITELY did the last 'step' of coloring her hair brown on the way to slaughter Travis...and I base this on the evidence (testimony Budget guy, photos, UT testimony etc) as well as 25+ yrs as a "licensed cosmetologist" haha...In addition, there have been some extra statements I've heard on HLN interviews etc (that the jury won't see, but it just corroborates my opinion- jmo folks, strong as it is ).
Yes, just like the gas cans, rental car, nightime arrival/getaway, disposing of evidence, bringing 2 murder weapons, luring TA into a vulnerable position to ensure her 'success' at dominating him w/these weapons, gas receipts in UT 'proving' her idiotic 'alibi', the list goes on and on...hair being brown was just one more of the details that shows (imoo) how very, very pre-meditated this murder was. In fact, the more tidbits I learn (including the entire process as documented of going blonde-brown) the longer me thinky she planned this...farther back than even May 26 texts...me thinky she was acting towards this 'choice' (TA did NOT know he was ultimately making, JA knew for quite some time imo), to self-soothe the misery she was in after leaving Mesa/TA's rejection.
Gosh I hope this made sense, am typing faster than ever...sorry for grammar/spelling guys!
