CAMAS, Wash. – A Camas teen left a chilling message in her journal before she vanished on June 23rd.

“If you’re reading this, I’m either missing or dead”

Anji Dean’s parents told KGW Monday they’re shocked and scared that no one has heard from the 17-year-old for two weeks and they fear that she’s become a sex trafficking victim.

Their story is now getting national attention. CNN’s Nancy Grace interviewed Anji’s mother Lynda Jorgensen Monday.

”We have no idea where she is or who she’s with,” she said. “She can’t be doing this on her own, so we’re really, really afraid for her.”

Jorgensen said, in the months before Anji vanished, she’d made comments to teachers and councilors that she was in something that she couldn’t get out of. Also, on the day she vanished, she texted her boyfriend saying she’d gotten into something bad and that someone was threatening to kill him and her family.

Authorities: Camas girl may be trafficking victim

CAMAS, Wash. -- Anji Dean's family can't believe no one has seen or heard from her since her disappearance on June 23rd.

"We've put her picture all over the internet..we've put out thousands of fliers, but have heard nothing," said Anji's mother, Lynda Jorgensen.

The 17-year-old left her home near 192nd in Camas between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on June 23.

A neighbor reports spotting Anji getting out of a stranger's car filled with people just hours before she left. The car was described as an older model Volvo. The driver was a black man with a goatee between the ages of 25-35.

Police: Car best lead in disappearance of Camas teen

Anji Dean has not been seen since June 23

CAMAS, Wash. (KOIN 6) — The main detective in the search for a missing Camas teenager says he thinks a car is the best lead police have right now.

Angelic Tracy Dean — better known as Anji — walked out of her home in the Vancouver suburb on June 23 between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said.

Investigators said they believe the 17-year-old may be with an older man.

Missing Camas teen found safe in Clark County

CAMAS, Wash. – A Camas teen missing for more than two weeks has been found safe, a family spokeswoman told KGW Wednesday.

Angelic (Anji) Dean was last seen on June 23rd.

She left this chilling message in her journal before she vanished: “If you’re reading this, I’m either missing or dead.”

Authorities have not yet released details of her condition or how she was found. They have not said exactly where she was found, either. Only that it was in Clark County around 4 p.m.
