I thought that during the first trial Deanna said on the stand that both she and Travis went to the bishop and confessed to the sex. I think she also admitted they had a hard time refraining...
To me that says they both WANTED to be good Mormons and were trying...Hope Juan can get that part out since JW insists on trying to sleaz-ify this poor woman!
