I understand that...I am only angry that that is the case, and that they were muzzled AND CENSORED as to what they could say during victim impact statements. This was their only time for input and it was censored! Never in any other trial have I seen such restraints and 'rules' put on victim impact statements. I feel so sorry for what they have suffered and continue to suffer as a result of what I see as things presented ad nauseum by the defense, that never should have been allowed...

I sure do agree with that sentiment. If the Alexander's were allowed to let loose on JA she would end up with PTSD just from being subjected to them in the judges chambers. Sure would cut down on requests to discuss things in chambers.
