I'm so happy this site is here, I'm a long time lurker, once in a blue moon poster. I love the Hinky Meter. When Val emailed back that it was indeed for sale I think my heart broke a little. Val is an amazing writer and her blog will be missed by many! Glad to know there is a place on the net that can keep the Hinkies together! The regular posters I read daily are amazing thinkers and sleuthers!

Hello all, while I was a lurker most of the time, since Caylee "was kidnapped" I occasionally posted. While I took a break after The Trial was such a heart breaker; I did resume following. Almost daily. Until the Trayvon Martin case. I could feel the tension and anger and was truly disappointed. Not in anyone in particular at all, just wasn't the same. So while a regret THM shutting down I am grateful for this site and to see so many familar names. God Bless Val.

Ann - Tx, ellejay has been on my mind too. an invaluable asset to any site, ellejay is just excellent at her research, I am forever amazed, but Ann, your good too. She posts at webslueth under a different name, I can't remember it for the life of me. we corresponded a coupe times via email during KC's trial, I am going to go back & look for that address.

Hello, old friends from hinky & new friends on reality chatter. I found the life rope Ann so generously
threw out the 1st day, [bless you Ann], but it took 2 more days for me to pull on my 'big girl panties' &
jump in with the rest of you! Its good to see everyone & I'm truly touched at how 'mama' & her team
rolled out the welcome mat for all us. It must have been a little scary, I can imagine them
thinking, " here comes a hoard of scared, shell shocked, Hinky addicts, in the throes of withdrawel, should
we invite them in?" Lol. They did, with offers of sympathy & any help we may need navigating a new site.

I was always a "lurker" on THM, but wanted to say I'm so glad to see so many of you that I "know" here. You don't know me, but I sure would have missed you!

I used to post on the Hinky Meter all the time, but then I forgot my user ID and password, so I became a lurker. I went over there today to see if Val had anything to say about Bob Bashera (?) being on Dateline last week, and lo and behold, the site was gone! I so look forward to Val's insights on cases in the news, as well as learning about new cases that might not have made it to my local news, I hate to see that the site is down. I hope all is well.

Ellejay, I am so glad to see you here! I was wondering where you were, finally you found your way..............I have been missing "the old days" at The Hinky Meter but I'm also happy that Ann-Tx invited us to join her here. Welcome to "our new home", everyone here have been really wonderful!

Ann-Tx, I am so happy with "The developing stories" that you added. I have always liked reading the new stories, it's better than HLN,Fox, or CNN.
Hoping that if Val doesn't reopen THM that she will come here and post. I still miss Val. She is one super lady!

I'd like to welcome everybody from the Hinky Meter who has joined here. I agree with Ellejay that we can't replace the Hinky Meter as Val is a one of a kind writer who can't be duplicated.
