The Rutgers University student convicted of spying on his roommate with a webcam is a free man. The 20-year-old completed his 30-day jail sentence for multiple counts of invading privacy and bias intimidation and was released Tuesday morning.

Also on Monday, a U.S. immigration spokesperson said that Ravi will not be deported back to his native India because of the convictions.

Mother of Murdered Son Sheds Light into Murder Plot

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — The mother of an Independence man murdered by his wife and her lover said she still has a hard time believing the daughter-in-law she loved is responsible for her son’s murder.

Her daughter-in-law is Teresa Stone, sentenced to eight years for the conspiracy that killed Randy Stone. Stone’s mother, Clara Koehler, said she doubts her son ever suspected Teresa was having an affair with their pastor, David Love.

“No, because Randy would’ve probably killed him,” she said. “I’m serious.”

An Ohio woman who was recently found competent to stand trial for her stepdaughter’s murder has now entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity, court records show.

26-year-old Ashley Young is charged with aggravated murder in the May 25, 2011 death of 4-year-old Kaylen Young. An autopsy determined that the child’s death was the result of “blunt force impact to the head.” The medical examiner noted additional bruises on her torso and thighs.

Japan Murder Arrest: American Teenager Likely to Remain Behind Bars

The American teenager arrested in connection with the killing of a young Irish woman in Japan will likely face a difficult court battle in a country that has a nearly 100 percent conviction rate.

Police have 20 days to decide whether to charge Hinds with murder. He’s expected to remain behind bars until then, because bail is rarely granted to foreigners arrested in Japan.

Richard Hinds, 19, was arrested on suspicion of killing 21-year-old Irish exchange student Nicola Furlong in her hotel room in the Shinjuku area on May 24.

RAMAPO — Four boys, age 13 and younger, have been charged with sexually abusing two girls, ages 12 and 14, at least twice over a four-day period last week at the home of the victims, authorities said Monday.

The youngsters — three 13-year-olds and a 12-year-old — were arraigned on felony sex charges Monday afternoon in Rockland Family Court in New City. All four boys denied the charges through their lawyers.

The juvenile delinquent petitions contained charges ranging from first-degree rape and first-degree criminal sex act to other felony sex offenses, attorneys in court said. The charges varied for each boy.

LOS ANGELES — Rodney King's fiancee said in a frantic 911 call that she threw a shovel to try to rouse him after she woke to the sounds of a fall and found him at the bottom of his swimming pool.

Cynthia Kelley repeatedly implored authorities to hurry to King's Rialto, Calif., home early Sunday. In audio authorities released Tuesday, Kelley tells a dispatcher that she tried to rouse King but he wasn't responding.

"He's not moving," Kelley said, crying throughout the call. "I was sleeping, all of a sudden I heard something fall like the table and then I looked over and then I went to find him and he's at the bottom of the swimming pool. He's still there. Please hurry up."

RIALTO, Calif. (AP) — An autopsy has been completed on Rodney King, but the results won't be released for several weeks.

San Bernardino County sheriff's and coroner's spokeswoman Jodi Miller says King's autopsy was completed Monday. A cause of death will not be determined until after investigators have toxicology results, which typically take between four to six weeks.

King was pulled from the deep end of his pool in Rialto, Calif. early Sunday morning.

LONDON — WikiLeaks chief Julian Assange has made a run for the Ecuadorean Embassy in London, seeking asylum in a long shot move that, if successful, would place him in a small, friendly South American country rather than in Sweden facing questioning about alleged sex crimes.

Tuesday's unexpected caper has added a new and bizarre twist to Assange's increasingly desperate bid to avoid extradition to Scandinavia. Ecuadorean Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino said the leftist government of President Rafael Correa – an administration often at odds with Washington – was weighing the request, although he did not indicate when a decision might be made.

Assange said in a brief statement that he was grateful "to the Ecuadorean ambassador and the government of Ecuador for considering my application."

She and her ex-boyfriend lived in El Campo, Tx which is about 250 miles from Laredo, Tx (where the two boys were shot) and about 75 miles southwest of Houston, Tx. El Campo is a small "sleepy" town.

The mother, Brandy Cerny, and her ex-boyfriend, Demond Blunston, recently broke up.

Blunston has been arrested in regard to the shooting of the two boys in Laredo, Tx. Formal charges are pending.

Ann= Tx, there doesn't seem to be much consequence when Prosecutor's make decisions, the public pays their salary no matter how good or well they perform a job, they are rarely criticized in the media.

I'm glad juror's are speaking out, they too did in Adam Kaufman's case with the jury foreman questioning why charges were even brought. The medical examiner, another public servant @ $ 250,000.00 per year looked terribly, an embarassment. The Defense is calling for an investigation into the practices of the ME's office, the lack of supervision of intern's the ME is supposed to be mentoring/checking/teaching.

Police say a man accused of fatally shooting his 1-year-old son and critically injuring another boy in a South Texas motel is refusing to talk to investigators, stymying the search for a motive.

El Campo Police Chief Terry Stanphill says family members have described a strained relationship between 36-year-old Demond Bluntson and his girlfriend, 28-year-old Brandy Cerny. Cerny was found dead Tuesday about 200 miles away from the boys.

Stanphill says Bluntson won't talk to police Laredo.

PHOENIX (CBS5) - The mother of an 11-month-old girl was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on two counts of child abuse after she was suspected of shaking the baby to near death, Phoenix police said.

Maria A. Rivera was arrested Tuesday at about 9 p.m. after police were called to a Phoenix hospital where Rivera had taken her daughter, police said.

June 20, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A Chicago mother is charged with child endangerment after her toddler fell from a window of an apartment building.

According to police, a neighbor found the 2-year-old boy lying on the ground in the 6100-block of South Artesian at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the toddler was home alone at the time he fell approximately 20 feet from a third-floor window.

Amazingly, he survived. The child suffered an abrasion to his head and was taken to Comer Children's Hospital where he was in stable condition Wednesday.

A Texas man accused of fatally shooting two boys, including his 1-year-old son, in a hotel room also was charged Thursday in their mother's killing.

Demond Bluntson, 36, already was being held in a Laredo jail when a judge in another county signed a murder warrant accusing him of killing his girlfriend, 28-year-old Brandy Cerny.

Wharton County District Attorney Josh McCown said the charge could be upgraded to capital murder, but the investigation into various aggravating factors was ongoing.

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a 2-year-old girl found dead at a Hudson Valley home was killed by at least one blow and they're treating the case as a homicide.

They tell local media the toddler was found with a relative at their home in New Paltz by officers sent to check a report of a missing child at around noon Wednesday.

New Paltz police say Thursday an autopsy showed she died from blunt force trauma.

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - (AP) -- Authorities say a 2-year-old girl slain at her relatives' Hudson Valley home was from the Dominican Republic.

Police in the Ulster County town of New Paltz told local media outlets that they're treating Wednesday's death of Asia Perez-Medina as a homicide after an autopsy concluded that she died as the result of blunt force trauma. Officials haven't said how the toddler died.

Missing Jersey City woman found slain

FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) - Fairfield Police are investigating a link between a man who was arrested for a rape at Miami University and missing Fairfield woman Katelyn Markham.

Gurpreet Kang, 26, of Hamilton, is being held at the Butler County Jail on a $250,000 bond for sexual battery. According to the Dayton Daily News, Kang was arrested two weeks ago in Wayne County, Mich. for raping a Miami University student in April of 2011.

As the search ends for missing millionaire, mother seeks to protect his assets

The second day of searches for missing Fort Lauderdale multimillionaire Guma Aguiar began Thursday with a sunrise flight over the Atlantic Ocean by a U.S. Coast Guard HC-144 plane.

The Coast Guard suspended its rescue mission around 9 p.m. after a 70-hour search.

While authorities investigate what happened to the 35-year-old investor who is believed to have gone boating Tuesday night, his mother filed documents Thursday in Broward County court seeking to become conservator or temporary guardian of his nearly $100 million fortune.

Aguiar's 31-foot fishing boat, the T.T. Zion, washed onto Fort Lauderdale beach about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, its lights on and twin outboard engines running.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- When an oil tycoon's fishing boat washed ashore near Fort Lauderdale this week, the lights were on and the engines were running, but the owner was nowhere to be found.

After a two-day search, authorities suspended the hunt for Guma Aguiar, a millionaire known for his philanthropy and sometimes erratic behavior. He struggled with mental illness exacerbated by court battles with family members over his vast fortune.

His disappearance has puzzled both his family and authorities.

Surveillance video showed him talking on the phone Tuesday night outside his $5 million waterfront home, grabbing what appears to be a pair of shorts and getting into the boat alone. Seas were rough, though, and police questioned why an experienced boater such as Aguiar would venture out in undesirable conditions.

Ann - Tx, this probably involves a Civil Suit against them by one of mother's. The 3 cannot themselves pursue monies for being incarcerated all those years as terms of their release. I know at lease one of the parent's does not think they were involved & a step father of one of the boy's murdered remains under the suspicion of murder.

Simon Weyman was last seen near Selma Texas, northeast of San Antonio. He is white, has brown hair and eyes and is 4' tall. He weighs approximately 90 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with black cars, brown khaki shorts and no shoes.


Two unknown suspects are believed to be involved in the child's abduction. The suspect is driving either a black 4-door compact Toyota or Mazda with green and white bumper sticker on rear.

Suspect last heard from in Selma, Texas. It is believed the child to be in grave or immediate danger.

ROSEBURG, OR (AP) - A Southern Oregon judge took 10 minutes Friday to find a teenager guilty of raping and murdering a 5-year-old girl.

Dustin Michael Wallace had waived a jury trial on charges he killed Sahara Dwight of Roseburg in July 2010.

The Shreveport Police Department is asking for help locating a local woman who has not been seen since late Friday.

Summer McWhiney, 28, was last seen around 7:30 p.m. leaving the home she shares with relatives to walk to a nearby McDonald's in the 1300 block of Shreveport-Barksdale Highway, police say. Police recovered McDonald's surveillance video showing McWhiney inside the restaurant talking to two people before leaving the business.

i don't know what avenues they have already followed, they must be desperate to ask for public's help. i still don't understand why i have to dig to find stories of missing children/adults...they should be on front pages of every news outlet- i mean CNN did a story on this and didn't even have the freaking photos!!!! morons.
