Martin Joseph MacNeill was serving up in life in prison for murdering his wife Michele MacNeill, where he drugged and left her to die in a bathtub in April of 2007.

The 61-year-old former physician was found unresponsive near an outside greenhouse at the Utah State Prison in Draper on Sunday.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the felon's death but revealed that there were no signs of foul play. ...."

In that ruling the court acknowledged that prosecutors should have disclosed a deal that was made involving a jailhouse snitch who testified against MacNeill, however, the court found that it was not enough to change the outcome of the trial.
