Clancy Talbot was the tipsy lady;

I find it very disturbing that there are CA/JA's out there that can kill a "loved one" and then go on their merry way as if it were on their "to do" list. Where do these kids come from?
As an aside, anyone who is prone to murderous blackouts should not be allowed to walk the streets......ever again.

Welcome Auman58, I certainly can't disagree with you. I think one of the jury instructions should be...if you're ok with your son dating this woman then you may consider a lesser included than murder 1, if not, its pretty clear.

I am surprised this has not happened before. How many of us have wanted to throw up during this unbelievable weeks of testimony. Of course, we would have better aim. Too bad JA was not the recipient. She deserves a little reality. Maybe Dr. S. could clean her up.

I thought about that possibility earlier, but firstly I don't think she would trust anyone enough to include him/her. But more importantly if she did, then is that the person who was going to be the recipient of the gun and knives found in her trunk when she was arrested? This woman could easily kill again.

We did discuss the possibility JA may have had an accomplice but it was ruled out.
There is no evidence anyone was involved in the murder other than JA.
The detectives did an excellent job securing the scene and gathering the evidence.

Why would you think their might have been an accomplice?
You realize, she has confessed to the crime of murder.
She has stated it was self defense.
IF there had been an accomplice, the self defense would have to be ruled out and it would be clear-cut murder one against her, right? Are you suggesting she might have entered the premises with another person with the intent of murdering Travis? That, again, would be first degree and premeditated murder and NO self defense would even stand up IF this was the case. Further, two against one in the man's own home?

JA was physically fit. She had training in martial arts. From the videos, we can see how agile she is. She is able to do headstands and hold her balance well. Handcuffed, her mobility is barely effected as she positions herself on the floor, bends her face to her knees and flips her hair back. This is no frail female. Even Ryan Burns commented on her well developed stomach muscles.

The two knives were reported to have been found in the bottom of a box with books on top. The gun was not found in the car compartment proper; when the rental was returned, the gun was located while it was being detailed by the rental company. (The LE KNEW she had purchased a gun as the receipt was located in her grandparent's residence. ) I am sure they had already verified she had applied for a permit July 1, 2008.

I am deeply angry, disappointed and disturbed that evidently the prosecution is not allowed to present all the witnesses there are out there to Jodi's stalking/jealousy. The heart of this case is her OBSESSION AND JEALOUSY OVER TRAVIS. THESE ARE THE REASONS FOR THE MURDER! The jury needs to, and IMO has a right to know what Jodi is REALLY like, and WHY she did this! If Dr. Doofus can present lies portraying Jodi as something she is not, why can't the prosecution present witnesses like Ms. Clancy, and the myriad of Travis' friends who SAW Jodi's jealousy, stalking, possessiveness toward Travis, and general all round creepiness!
I am just so flattened by this trial, and our system, which while allowing excessive leeway to Jodi's defense DOES NOT ACCORD THE PROSECUTION THE SAME FAIR AND EQUITABLE CHANCE TO PRESENT THEIR EVIDENCE TO CONTRADICT SPECIFIC ERRONEOUS DEFENSE CLAIMS.

bwahahahahaha absolutely awesome...made me spew my coffee..lol'd and woke the hubby...just perfect...

once again I got busy cooking dinner and altho I had my lap on the bar listening to squeak lead the baboon I wasn't aware someone barfed behind Jodi till this morn..wouldn't it of just been perfect if it had been projectile and smacked her in the back of the head tho?

I got a couple of questions about yesterday..hopefully one of you will know the answers for. OK first off who WAS the female in the black n white horizontal shirt that kept walking back and forth on Jodi's right side during testimony? While baboons testimony yesterday was repetitive and the expected borefest, this chic flitting round like that was very distracting.
Also bout the last thing I was able to catch was I believe the afternoon break before hubby arrived home and chaos ensued with pups thrilled to see him. Jurors were dismissed and all 3 attorneys were at judges table and the mic was left on..judge seemed to of been instructing Nurmi to do something? He said something about taking her back into the room with them and something about I might forget tho? I'm gonna go youtube day 34 near the end to see if I can find it..just wondering if anyone else caught that convo and what they think it was about?

Hi and welcome..It is disturbing but there are more out there than people realize. I believe "these kids" are born that way..their has been studies proving their brains are vastly different and I believe the major factor in wether or not they grow up to be sociopathic killers is how they are parented. A childs early years are extremely important..not just for them but for us all. Really wish people as a whole could wrap their minds round that.
