Did she testify yet on WHO placed the 911 call??

No, she did not.

Here is the following from a CNN article:

Harris pulled into a shopping center parking lot roughly seven minutes after leaving the Home Depot campus. He pulled Cooper's lifeless body from the car. His screams attracted a crowd of onlookers, some of whom called 911 and others of whom attempted to help Harris administer first aid to Cooper.

Witnesses said Harris was hyperventilating and screaming. Cobb County police Detective Phillip Stoddard testified that Harris swore at police when they arrived at the scene. Harris attempted to call his then-wife and Cooper's mother, Leanna Harris, but he did not get an answer.

Meanwhile, Leanna Harris was already headed to the day care where her husband had agreed to drop off Cooper. When she learned Cooper had never arrived, witnesses said she came to an immediate conclusion.

"Ross must have left him in the car," she's reported as saying. "There's no other explanation. Ross must have left him in the car."

Minute-by-minute: Day 2 of the Ross Harris hot car death trial

by: Hope Jensen Updated: Oct 4, 2016 - 12:11 PM

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. - It’s been more than two years since 22-month-old Cooper Harris died in the back seat of a hot SUV outside a Cobb County office building.

Follow minute-by-minute coverage of the case below:

12:10 p.m. Court recesses for lunch break. Witness will return to the stand at 1:30 p.m.

-----

12:00 p.m. Piper walks jurors through the crime scene photos.

-----

11:52 a.m. State introduces photos into evidence. Boring shows Piper photos from her patrol car and photos taken by crime scene technicians of the scene on the day of Cooper's death.

-----

11:42 a.m. Piper says Harris made her feel uncomfortable when he tried to make small talk on the way to the police station. She says his behavior was inconsistent with what she would expect of someone who had just lost a child.

-----

11:37 a.m. Piper says Harris complained again about heat in the back of the car. Piper says she then told Harris he was being detained and he responded, "For what?"

-----

11:34 a.m. ADA Chuck Boring asks Piper about conversation between EMT and Harris in the back of the patrol car. Defense objects, but judge allows conversation to continue. Piper says Harris told EMT he fed Cooper breakfast at home.

-----

11:30 a.m. "He immediately complained about how hot it was in my vehicle," Piper said about the moment she put Harris into her patrol car that day.

-----

11:28 a.m. Piper says Harris indirectly referenced his time as a 911 dispatcher several times, using phonetics to spell his name and address and mentioning that the handcuffs are "different than the ones we used."

-----

11:27 a.m.  Piper said Harris told her he forgot to drop his son off at day care that morning and forgot to do a "second look."

-----

11:19 a.m. Piper says when asked to get off the phone, Harris took a step towards the officer "which (Piper) perceived to be threatening." Piper says they then detained Harris using two sets of handcuffs because he was fighting them. She says Harris then told them, "Shut the f*** up, my son just died."

-----

11:17 a.m. Piper says when she first saw Harris pacing, "due to his demeanor, (she) thought he was somehow involved." She says Harris was on his cell phone. At first he appeared calm and then he started yelling. Piper says she found it unusual. She says Harris' "monotone yelling seemed very forced."

-----

11:15 a.m. Piper says she saw Cooper on the ground as she arrived on the scene. Harris was pacing in front of the car.

-----

11:11 a.m. Piper says it took her one minute and 20 seconds to get to the scene from the restaurant where she was when she heard the call.

-----

11:08 a.m. Prosecution begins by questioning Piper about her career in law enforcement.

-----

11:04 a.m. Court resumes. Cobb County Officer Jacquelyn Piper takes the stand. She was one of the first people to encounter Harris on the scene of his son’s death and previously testified he was acting violent toward the police and refused to get off the phone. Later she said he tried to chat her up in a squad car, behavior she considered strange given the circumstances.

-----

10:41 a.m. Judge recesses court for mid-morning break. Will return shortly.

-----

10:40 a.m. Defense closes by saying, "They got it wrong."

-----

10:38 a.m. "There is one person in the world that has every right to hate that guy, despise that guy, because he took everything from her," Kilgore said. But Kilgore says Harris' ex-wife, Leanna Taylor, has said since the beginning that Harris "loved that little boy more than anything in the world" and that Harris was a wonderful father. He says if prosecution doesn't call Taylor to the stand, the defense will.

-----

10:34 a.m. "He never forgot that he had a son. That wasn't the issue. He just lost awareness that he was in the car," Kilgore said.

-----

10:23 a.m. Kilgore says Harris used to go to Chick-fil-A after dropping Cooper at day care in the mornings so he was used to driving straight through the intersection back to work. He says it was his habit, his pattern.

-----

10:22 a.m. Kilgore says all the "evidence" on his phone proves he wasn't planning Cooper's death. "He's just adding stuff all day like he had no idea anybody would be looking on his phone."

-----

10:13 a.m. Kilgore says Harris was planning a cruise for Cooper, Leanna and other family members. Kilgore says Harris was looking into passports for children as Cooper was dying in his car. "He had no idea his son was in that car."

Cop says Harris acted unusually when detained after Cooper’s death

Bill Rankin  - The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Updated2:47 p.m Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016 | Filed in Cobb County

BRUNSWICK— Murder defendant Ross Harris acted unusually calm and collected after saying he’d just discovered his son was dead, one of the first police officers to arrive at the scene testified Tuesday.

Cobb County Police Officer Jacquelyn Piper, the first witness called by the prosecution, said when she arrived at the Akers Mill Square shopping center parking lot the afternoon of June 18, 2004, she saw 22-month-old Cooper Harris on the ground. His body was “marbeled,” she said, explaining that his veins could be clearly seen under his pale skin.

Witness breaks down as he recalls trying to help boy who died in hot car

BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- A witness became emotional Tuesday as he took the stand to describe his attempts to revive 22-month-old boy who died in a hot car.

Cooper Harris died in June 2014 after being left for seven hours in his father’s vehicle outside his metro Atlanta workplace. Justin Ross Harris’ defense contends it was a tragic accident and that Harris simply forgot to drop the boy off at day care. But prosecutors say Harris left the child to die on purpose as he sought to escape the responsibilities of family life and focus on sexual liaisons with prostitutes and young women - even teenagers - he met online.

James Hawkins, a lighting installer, testified he rushed over to help and tried to administer CPR to the boy, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution. But the child was already dead.

Defense in hot-car death trial: Jilted ex-wife to testify police 'got it wrong'

By Mayra Cuevas and Eliott C. McLaughlin, CNN
Updated 1:12 PM ET, Tue October 4, 2016

Brunswick, Georgia (CNN) — Justin Ross Harris is responsible for the death of his 22-month-old son, Cooper, but to allege he intentionally let the boy die in a sweltering SUV just isn't true, his attorney told jurors Tuesday.

Attorney H. Maddox Kilgore embraced some of the damning allegations leveled by a prosecutor during Monday's opening statements, while dubbing some of investigators' claims outright lies.

~Snipped~

Among the witnesses the defense plans to call is Harris' ex-wife, Leanna Taylor, a woman who "has every reason in the world to hate that guy, to despise that guy," but who will testify that Harris was a good father who deeply loved Cooper, Kilgore said.

Officer: Harris sounded like anchorman at scene of hot car death

Greg Rossino, WXIA 6:09 PM. EDT October 04, 2016

The jury in the Ross Harris trial received a better idea of what the scene looked like the day 22-month-old Cooper Harris died in his father's hot car.

Harris is facing various charges, including malice murder, felony murder and cruelty to children, in the June 2014 death of his son. Harris claims the death was a tragic accident.

The trial's first witness, Cobb County police officer Jacquelyn Piper, was also the first person to interact with Harris moments after he discovered Cooper dead.

~Snipped~

The officer continued saying she found Harris' yelling "kind of unusual."

"The best way I can describe it...If you've ever seen 'Anchorman' and you have Will Ferrell shouting 'I'm in a glass case of emotion'. It's that monotone yelling that seems really forced," Piper said.

Crime Scene Tech testifies this morning.  Took many photos of car and Cooper.  POS laid Cooper on HOT concrete 3 feet from car door after leaving him to BAKE for 7 hours.  Most parents would be holding and caressing their child EVEN THOUGH it seemed a lost cause to revive them.

Car seat was CLEARLY visible and almost touching driver seat....impossible for him not to see car seat and Cooper when dropping off package at lunch.

Backed into parking spot between 2 cars because car seat was rear facing and no one could possibly see Cooper that way.

Nice try, Ross.....now trying to conjer up emotion and tears as they are discussing the scratches to poor Cooper's face.

This trial is gut wrenching.

ETA: CSI took pics of Leanna's car. The car seat in her car was FORWARD facing. Interesting!

Minute-by-minute: Day 3 of the Ross Harris hot car death trial

by: Hope Jensen Updated: Oct 5, 2016 - 6:27 PM

TRIAL NOTE: The judge has canceled court Thursday and Friday because of the incoming hurricane. Court will last until around 6 p.m. Wednesday and will then resume Monday morning.

5:13 p.m. Judge recesses the trial until Monday. Court will not be held Thursday or Friday because of the incoming hurricane.

-----

5:11 p.m. Defense argues with Gallimore saying you cannot hear Harris tell Gallimore "f*** you" in patrol video. Prosecution says defense is insinuating that Gallimore is a liar. ADA Chuck Boring asks Gallimore if he has any reason to lie and Gallimore says no.

-----

4:59 p.m. Defense says Gallimore's report says Harris was "acting hysterical and extremely upset."

-----

4:50 p.m. Gallimore says he decided to detain Harris after Harris looked straight in his eyes and told him to "f*** you."

-----

4:48 p.m. Gallimore gets emotional as he talks about wanting to move Cooper's body from the hot pavement or cover his body up. "I even discussed with Officer Foglia like, 'Ok what if we put him in my car?' and she reminded me, 'Hey this is a crime scene. We can't."

-----

4:45 p.m. Gallimore says he believes Harris was acting on the scene that day. "Each person is different but there's also consistency in the way each person reacts to things ... and there was no consistency in the way he was acting whatsoever."

-----

4:37 p.m. Gallimore says he knows the area well and agrees with Foglia that Harris did not take the fastest route to the movie theater that day.

-----

4:31 p.m. State calls Cobb County Officer Brett Gallimore to the witness stand. Gallimore was on patrol with Foglia on June 18, 2014. He says they were patrolling the shopping center when they came across the scene.

-----

4:30 p.m. Foglia says Harris never offered to assist or help with Cooper as his body was lying on the ground.

-----

4:25 p.m. Defense attorney Maddox Kilgore reads from Foglia's report that at one point Harris tried to come back to the baby's side. Kilgore says all witnesses would have been able to see that.

-----

4:19 p.m. Foglia says Harris did not take the fastest route to the movie theater that afternoon. Insinuates along with the prosecution that, instead, he went to a more crowded area where people would be outside.

-----

4:15 p.m. Foglia describes Harris' demeanor on the scene as "odd," a word used by other witnesses as well. "He was pacing. He would shriek out, 'It was my fault,' and then he would be calm again ... He'd go from periods of long silence to shrieking again."

-----

4:14 p.m. Foglia says she and Officer Piper were the ones who detained Harris on the scene.

-----

4:10 p.m. Foglia says Harris came back towards Cooper while she and another officer were attempting CPR. She says she shooed him away because she did not know who he was.

-----

4:04 p.m. State calls Cobb County Detective Lindsay Foglia to the stand. Foglia was a patrol officer who was on the scene the day Cooper died.

-----

4:02 p.m. "If it were my child I would probably react a little differently. I'd shed tears and I probably wouldn't have put him on the hot asphalt, hot pavement as hot as it was. I probably would've been a little more attentive but again everybody grieves differently," Hamilton said.

-----

3:53 p.m. Hamilton says he along with witnesses Anthony Patano, James Hawkins and Ashleigh Womack, all of whom have already testified, were the only ones by the car trying to help that afternoon.

-----

3:48 p.m. "He was distraught. Everybody grieves in a different way so it's hard to say if it's believable," Hamilton said.

-----

3:47 p.m. Hamilton's statements are similar to other witnesses. He says Harris pulled Cooper out of the car, knelt beside him and then got up and walked away when good Samaritans took over CPR. He says Harris never asked anyone to call 911.

-----

3:38 p.m. Court resumes. State calls witness Dale Hamilton to the stand. Witness was in his car outside of a nearby Subway when Harris pulled in.

-----

3:06 p.m. Defense wraps up questioning Eastland. Court takes afternoon break.

-----

3:04 p.m. After re-listening to her interview with the detective, Eastland says she did say that Harris was doing CPR and yelling for someone to call for help. She also says she did tell the detective that nothing seemed suspicious.

-----

3:03 p.m. Defense wraps up questioning of Womack. Brings witness Eastland back to the stand.

-----

2:56 p.m. Womack says she found it strange that Harris was arrested so quickly on the scene.

-----

2:45 p.m. Prosecution plays Womack's 911 call from June 18, 2014.

-----

2:38 p.m. ADA Chuck Boring asks Womack if Harris ever came back to his child. She said no, the only person who touched the child was a good Samaritan. Womack, who is pregnant herself, says she thought it was "odd."

-----

2:35 p.m. Womack says at first she thought he was having a seizure, but then the other witness who was giving Cooper CPR turned to her and shook his head. She says that's the moment she realized Cooper was dead.

-----

2:33 p.m. "It's not something you ever forget," Womack said about seeing Cooper's body.

Hurricane Matthew forces two-day delay in Ross Harris trial

Christian Boone - The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Updated2:03 p.m Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 | Filed in Atlanta News

BRUNSWICK — The Justin Ross Harris trial will recess at day’s end and resume Monday due to the threat posed by Hurricane Matthew.

Superior Court Judge Mary Staley Clark made the announcement Wednesday afternoon. She initially planned a half-day session on Thursday but the looming storm forced her hand. A voluntary evacuation is in effect for the Golden Isles, expected to feel the brunt of the hurricane late Friday.

This is bad. Really very sick.
"....Shumpert's graphic images showed Cooper's legs that seemed frozen in a bent position from sitting in a car seat inside the hot and locked car, the result of rigor mortis that had set in. Cooper's eyes were open.

His face showed the scratches from his attempts to claw his way out of the car seat as he slowly baked to his death for more than seven hours while his father worked. ...."

This is a hard, hard trial to follow.  The sheer calculating-ness (is that a word?) and coldness of RH is chilling.  All of the first responders and citizens who testified yesterday had more tears and emotion than "dad"....each tried to help either by calling 911, performing CPR, lamenting the fact that poor baby was laid out on HOT concrete.  Each of them grieved, while RH postured.

It is evident he took the long route to a more crowded area so he would have witnesses.  I truly believe he THOUGHT HE would be perceived as a grieving father in a great tragedy.

If he wanted a different life, he's got it now.  No baby, no wife, no home, no job, and hopefully life in prison.

Am glad we have 2 days off.....this one is brutal.

ROSE HARRIS MURDER TRIAL - DAY 4

Minute-by-minute in the Ross Harris murder trial

BRUNSWICK— This is a running account of the fourth day of testimony in the Justin Ross Harris murder case. Harris is charged with murder in the death of his 22-month-old son, Cooper, by leaving him in his SUV for hours on a hot June day in 2014. For a linear chronology, start with the last item (9:45) first.

12:30 p.m.

Defense attorney Bryan Lumpkin handles the cross-examination of Cobb police Capt. James Ferrell. He asks about Ferrell's assignment of the crime-scene technician to the case.

Ferrell: I said, "Hey, this is a serious case, and I want you to document case just like you were documenting a homicide case. Everything video'd, everything  photographed from every different angle, and collect every piece of evidence to the best of your ability."

Lumpkin asks whether Ferrell viewed this as a crime scene or an accident scene.

Ferrell: If you leave a child inside a car, and the child dies, it's a criminal case. ... It's just a question of how serious the criminal charges are.

Lumpkin: As you came up to the driver's-side door, you noticed that the  vehicle was running and the air-conditioning was on. How were you able to make that determination?

Ferrell: You could hear it blowing inside the car. ... I was standing right outside the driver's-side door.

Lumpkin: Can you tell us exactly what that distance was?

Ferrell: I would say within a foot. .... I stuck my head inside the car. That was because I smelled something coming out of the car. So I stuck my head inside to see what the smell was.

Lumpkin: Do you recall in your mind, about 30, 36 inches was how close his body was to you. You might not have necessarily stepped over the body, but you would've had to step around the body.... You described the smell .. .

Ferrell: It smelled like several things. The odor of a diaper, the sweat and  the odor of death.

Lumpkin: You call it a unique odor of death, is that right?

Ferrell: Yes, sir.

Lumpkin: You said you smelled this before?

Ferrell: Many times, yes.

Lumpkin: The smell you referred to in your report -- you specifically indicated that when you leaned down, you could smell the odor of decay and his diaper?

Ferrell: I could smell the odor of whatever gases come off a dead body. And the diaper.

Lumpkin: That's from your experience from the many scenes you have been to.

Ferrell: It has been my experience, yes sir.

Harris is listening attentively but not appearing to react emotionally.

Lumpkin: The smell, did you note that to anybody at the scene?

Ferrell says he didn't mention it to anyone until he spoke with Detective Stoddard later that night at the station.

Lumpkin: Was there anyone else present when you made this disclosure?

Ferrell: (Names several detectives.) There would have been any number of people standing around. It was a conversation we had outside my office when he first came out of his interview with Harris. ...

Ferrell testified earlier that he failed to file a report on his observations from the scene -- including the odor he says he detected -- until many months later, perhaps a year. Lumpkin quizzes him on why he waited so long.

Ferrell: There's no excuse. I just failed to write that report in a timely manner.

Lumpkin: You just forgot? Fair to say?

Ferrell: Asked and answered, sir. I did forget it.

Lumpkin wraps up his cross and the judge sends the jury to lunch.

Noon

Lead prosecutor Chuck Boring questions the next witness, James Ferrell, a captain with Cobb County police department. Ferrell was a lieutenant in the crimes against persons unit at the time Cooper died.

Boring then asks how Ferrell came to assign Detective Phil Stoddard as the lead detective on the Harris investigation.

Ferrell said two detectives were initially called to the scene. But he suspected that two would not be enough and ordered two more to the Akers Mill shopping center. Stoddard was one of the second two.

Ferrell: Detectives Stoddard and Murphy came down (to the scene). ... The reason that I actually picked Detective Stoddard is that he had a little bit different experience. . .. He had experience working crimes against children. ... and with our homicide unit.

At length, Ferrell inspected the vehicle in which Cooper died. Here, Boring elicited important testimony that Ferrell smelled the odor of a dead person.

Ferrell: I smelled the interior of the car and noticed there was an odor inside the vehicle.

Boring: Could you describe the smell?

Ferrell: It was a combination of odors. You could smell the odor of a diaper from a child, and also -- from having a couple of kids-- the odor of sweat ... a child's sweat. And I smelled that rally unusual odor that I can only associated with something that's dead. ... There's an odor associated with (death) that's very unique.

Boring: Was it a hot day, a cold day, something else?

Ferrell: It was a hot day.

Boring: Did you also assist the medical examiner's investigator as far as examining the child's body.

Ferrell: I did. ... typically one of our detectives will meet with the medical examiner. I picked up that process that day. ... As he was (examining the body) I was listening to his report as to what he was seeing.

Boring: Did you get down close to the body?

Ferrell: I did.

Boring: Did you notice anything on the child's body of significance?

Ferrell: His hair was sweaty. It was matted down. His eyes were partially opened. Mouth was partially opened. His knees were bent up.... there was a small scratch on his face, it might have been from a fingernail or something.

Ferrell: Did you notice any smells associated with the body?

Boring: When I was standing there, I couldn't smell anything coming off the body. But when I got down close to the child, I could actually smell the only thing I can describe as the smell of a dead body. ... The sweat, the diaper, the dead body.

Boring ends his direct examination, and the defense takes over.

11:45 a.m.

Prosecutor Jesse Evans continues his direct examination of paramedic Peyton Barwick.

Evans: Were you able to assess the demeanor of the defendant in the back of the police car?

Barwick: Yes, sir.

Evans: Please describe his demeanor when you saw him.

Barwick: Very dry. Showed no emotion. Was not crying.

Evans: Was he able to speak calmly with you when you asked your questions?

Barwick: Yes, sir.

Evans: Did you ask the defendant for a timeline of the events of that day?

Barwick: Yes, sir. Per my report, he said he ate breakfast with Cooper around 8:45 that morning, and then he went to work around 9 a.m. He rolled up his windows, locked the car, walked (into work).

Minute-by-minute updates from the Ross Harris trial

Richard Halicks

Updated3:25 p.m Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016 | Filed in Atlanta News

5:20 p.m.

Lumpkin asks why Grimstead collected several register receipts from Chick-fil-A that Harris had put in the console between the front seats.

Grimstead says he doesn't judge people by what they eat.

Lumpkin tells the court he's finished at 5:10 and Judge Staley Clark asks the two lead attorneys to approach the bench. They confer for several minutes, with microphones turned off. Staley Clark goes back on the record. She says she will start court earlier in the morning and try to cut down on the time she allots for lunch, in response to requests. She says court will convene at 8:30 a.m. and she will try to recess for the day between 4:30 and 5. She runs that past the jurors and tells them to talk it over and let her know their preference.

The jury is dismissed, but court is still in session. Staley Clark says Thursday's session will be a half-day. Testimony from the prosecution's witnesses is expected to fill the morning but not the afternoon. The judge remarks that the defense might appreciate some time to straighten out lodging arrangements that were apparently disrupted by Hurricane Mathhew.

5:05 p.m.

Evans asks Grimstead whether the carrying handle on the seat was moved after the so someone could hang an evidence tag on it. Grimstead says yes.

Evans asks him whether the July photographs that showed differences from the June photos were a deliberate attempt to mislead anyone. Grimstead says no.

To shore up Grimstead's testimony, Evans takes his witness through other points on which the defense may have exposed even small inconsistencies to shore up Grimstead's testimony.

Bryan Lumpkin for the defense on re-cross.

4:50 p.m.

Lumpkin asks Grimstead to review two reports he wrote, one in June shortly after Cooper died and another in July. They hash out several of the measurements again. Grimstead has explained that he used very precise measurments on the car seat -- its distance from the rear driver's-side door, from the rear passenger's-side door, etc. -- so he could remove the seat to inspect it and then replace it exactly where it was. Lumpkin asks Grimstead whether a set of photos show anything different about the car seat from the its condition the first time he saw it. He acknowledges that the carrying handle on the seat is not in the  same place, and that a doll has been placed in the seat.

Lumpkin then shows that the straps that come through slots to the front of the car seat are in different positions from the time the car seat was photographed in June to the time it was photographed in July. He then makes the point that changing the position of the adjustment straps would also change the angle of the seat relative to the back seat of the car. Grimstead agrees that would be the case. Lumpkin asks how many adjustments were made to the straps during the time the car seat was out of the car (from June 19 to July 2). Grimstead said he didn't know.

Lumpkin notes that Grimstead has testified to being 6 feet tall and asks whether

Lumpkin: Arguably one of the most important measurements in this case, as to where Cooper had his head, that measurement was not used when you replaced that car seat in July.

Grimstead: That is correct.

Prosecutor Jesse Evans on redirect: He shows photographs of the doll, which he calls a mannequin, that had been placed in the car seat, to show whether a child sitting in that position would have been visible from various vantage points inside and outside the car.

4:25 p.m.

Lumpkin: you've talked having a sweaty smell inside the car. That was something you noticed on June 18, 2014?

Grimstead: Something I often smell at death scenes . . . it's a smell I associate with death scenes, especially closed-in death scenes.

the video feed crashes. When it returns Grimstead is testifying about a conversation among a number of detectives in which they talked about the smell. He tells Lumpkin he doesn't remember who was in on that conversation.

Later, the two are talking about measurements again. Cooper's car seat is projected onto a large screen. The screen is very close to Ross Harris.

4:05 p.m.

Detective Grimstead is still on the stand. The defense team's Bryan Lumpkin conducts the cross-examination.

Lumpkin: You mentioned a few of the measurements you made. You actually took several measurements from in and around this car, is that correct?

Grimstead: That's correct.

Lumpkin places Cooper's car seat in front of of the witness and asks him about several of the measurements the witness took. Lumpkin then talks about items that Grimstead removed from the car -- Harris's laptop bag, the light bulbs he bought at Home Depot after lunch, the guitar amp he had in the back cargo area of the SUV, and other items. He shows Grimstead a set of closeups of the items taken from a bag in the cargo area.

Grimstead: I did not take these photographs.

Lumpkin: Who did? Could it have been some other crime-scene investigator?

Grimstead says he doesn't know. Lumpkin asks Grimstead whether he saw the contents of the bag that was in the back of the car. The cross-examination continues with more questioning about this or that item and this or that measurement.

3:35 p.m.

The court returns from a 10-minute break.

3:15 p.m.

The judges calls for a 10 minute break.

3 p.m.

Grimstead testified that he took detailed measurements of the car seat with respect to other objects in the car. In response to questioning from Evans, he said that the top of Cooper's car seat, which was where his head would have been, is 3.5 inches from the top right of the driver's seat -- underscoring the prosecution's contention that it would have been difficult for Harris to miss the fact that Cooper was in the car.

Brace. This is intense. No pics pf Cooper deceased last pf him alive.

EXCLUSIVE: Final images of toddler Cooper Harris show he spent the last moments of his life in his father's arms at a Chick-fil-A before dying in family's boiling hot SUV while dad Ross Harris spent the day working in his office

".... He noticed a distinct odor, describing it as 'a combination of sweat, a diaper and something that's deceased'.

Ferrell said he noticed the same smell inside the SUV, 'a unique odor of death'.

'It was an odor I only associate with death,' he added.

He told jurors he noticed the odor from the open driver's door frame as well as from the child's body on the ground.

'Gases that permeate from a dead body,' he told the jury....."
