Jhessye Shockley -- Missing 10/11/11

So, a new replacement ....hope she doesn't get to keep this one.
Inflicting physical harm (using belts and cords) on one's children is not a protected right awarded to parents. That is a felony, calls for serious jail time. there is something wrong with this person, and children are not safe under her non-care.

Hearing of the news of a birth should be good news ... but not in this case.

Is this the mom who was expecting twins? Did she have twins? Is she going to get to keep them?

mama ~ An article posted up a few on 10/29 said that she gave birth, and had returned to her home. It failed to mention whether she was allowed to take her baby home.

Okay...more: I googled the bio's name and it said that her relatives claimed that CPS took custody of the newborn. Thank heaven for small favors.

I wonder if poor little Jahessye will ever be found.

Mama, that was Aliayah Lunsford's mom that is/was expecting twins.

The mother of a missing Glendale girl has given birth to another baby, who is now in the custody of state Child Protective Services, according to the family.

CPS on Monday would not confirm the newborn has been taken from the mother, Jerice Hunter.

The agency previously confirmed that three of Hunter's other children were removed a day after her 5-year-old daughter went missing. Jhessye Shockley was reported missing three weeks ago today.

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Glendale homicide detectives are now investigating the case of missing 5-year-old Jahessye Shockley.

Authorities say missing-person and child-crimes detectives continue to probe Jahessye's disappearance.

Police said Monday the girl's mother Jerice Hunter, is not a suspect, but anyone who had contact with Jahessye at all during the time she went missing is a person of interest.

GLENDALE, AZ (KPHO/AP) - Glendale homicide detectives are investigating the case of missing 5-year-old Jhessye Shockley. Police assigned a homicide detective as the lead investigator.

The Glendale Police Department told CBS 5 that they decided if the case would go "long term" it would be better dealt with by their most tenured and experienced case agent, who is a homicide detective.

Another heartbreaking case....they seem to be endless. If you don't want your kids, give them up ffs......stop killing them!!!

This case is so sad, too many battered children who will find that life is fragile and can be taken away. Poor little Jahessye has been gone far too long. Now that the Homicide detectives are investigating, perhaps new leads will lead them to Jahessye.
I don't believe that there will be a happy ending to this case. I understand that Jahessye was raised by an aunt for the first four years of her life. Those early years were undoubtably the happiest years Jahessye had in her short lifetime.

GLENDALE, AZ (KPHO/AP) - The family of a missing 5-year-old Glendale girl is becoming more vocal as the girl's disappearance reached the three-week mark Tuesday.

Jhessye Shockley's sudden disappearance has a community confused and scared for the little girl's safety, and a small group of people rallied to make sure everyone remains vigilant for Jhessye.

Sources inside the Shockley family tell CBS 5 News that Jhessye wasn't in school for a week and a half before she disappeared.

The sad truth is......little Jhessye was to be replaced by the new baby the momster just popped out. Her little battered and bruised body will be found and the cycle of cruel abuse will be stopped in this particular family once the "Mama" is sent away for life. Jhessye paid the ulitmate price at the hands of her egg donor. She's an angel on high, released from her torment.

I read on one of the blog sites that scroll down on the home page here that Jahessye's hadn't been at school for about a week before going missing. Her mother told the school that she had ringworm.

Just when you think it couldn't get any worse, along comes a delayed bit of half-truth. Jahessye hadn't been to school in a week-and-a-half prior to her bio mother reporting her missing. If counting Monday thru Friday school days only, that means Jahessye was absent about approx. ten school days. If school was the last official sighting, and discounting the bio's reported date, Jahessye may have been missing since approximately Sept. 27th.
There appears to be a need to delay LE from locating this poor child. Meaning something really bad caused Jahessye to "disappear", and perhaps she had been too badly beaten to be seen in public. Perhaps Jahessye had to be "eliminated" so the truth about the cruel beatings inflicted on these children would not surface. Because bio would be sent back to a prison, where she should still have been when Jahessye was reported missing.
I get flipping mad thinking about how people can get away with abusing their children. It should instantaneously be a cause for immediate arrest and jail time. When I view the pictures of a bright smiling happy Jahessye, I think of what she might have achieved had she been alowed to grow up in a loving home. Her look of innocence and happiness is haunting me. She was only five, and never will be six or seven, ten or twenty.

Another heartbreaking post I read in Websleuth's is that the mother never bothered to correct the media about the spelling of this poor child's name. According to the grandma, the corrrect spelling is "Jhessye", which makes more sense when hearing the name spoken as sounding like Jesse. Poor Jhessye.

GLENDALE, Ariz. - It's been one month since 5-year-old Jahessye Shockley went missing.

Police still have no clues as to where she may be, but the community is not giving up hope in finding her.

A candlelight vigil was held Friday night in the same neighborhood where she went missing.

I noticed in the pictues I have seen of Jahessye from various media sites, Jahessye is dressed really nice. Some one cared that she was dressed nicely.

GLENDALE, AZ (KPHO) - Jerice Hunter insists she's a good mother despite her past conviction and four-year prison stint for child abuse.

"I'm not going to condone my behavior in the past," said the mother of missing 5-year-old Jhessye Shockley in the second installment of an exclusive interview with Hunter. "I did spank my daughter and I felt like afterwards, 'Yes, I did go overboard.'"

Hunter sat down with CBS 5 News on Wednesday in her first in-depth interview since her daughter went missing just over four weeks ago. The first portion of the exclusive interview was posted and aired Wednesday night.

Hunter’s relatives told ABC15 they expect her to take a polygraph test to prove that she was not involved in her daughter’s disappearance, but as of Friday afternoon, police said that had still not happened.

It will be interesting to see if she does take a polygraph.

It isn't going to work for you any more, Jerice. Distract, try to point the finger elsewhere. Deny past behavior. Be so in-your-face loud and obnoxious that you will make questioners back off. You try to scare people, to use your anger to intimidate people. Dominate them just like you dominated your poor children. Blame others, use every opportunity to claim that LE is not looking for Jhessye as they are racists. Look at the lessons you are passing on to your children. Want them to be just like you?
LE is finally on to you, and so is the public. No second chances this time. Jhessye deserved better.

Does anyone know if the mom had an alibi for the time that Jhessye went missing?

The story was that the siblings were watching her while Jerice was out running errands and that Jhessye slipped out the door and vanished. But I wonder if Jerice was def elsewhere and how in depth the siblings have been questioned.

I think that given her history of dominating by force, those children are not going to tell the truth...ever. They might be afraid that they might "disappear" too.
