Andrea Sneiderman walked out of the DeKalb County jail Thursday, Aug, 23, 2012 two days after a DeKalb County judge granted her bail on murder charges.

Speaking with reporters late Thursday morning, just prior to the release of Andrea Sneiderman from the DeKalb County jail, Sheriff Thomas Brown discussed the widowed mother of two as if she were a famous actress.

"We've had rappers. We've had country and western singers. We've had Bobby [Brown]. It's kind of become the jail for the celebrity type," Brown said as reporters pressed for details on Sneiderman's final minutes in jail, including one question about what she ate for breakfast.

After handing over a $250,000 cashier's check, the reluctant celebrity walked briskly past a phalanx of photographers and into a waiting minivan driven by one of her lawyers, Doug Chalmers. Neither she nor her attorney made any comment

Andrea Sneiderman, in-laws settle custody dispute

Andrea Sneiderman and the parents of her murdered husband have reached a settlement in their months-long visitation and custody battle involving her children.

Notice of the settlement was filed Thursday in Fulton County Superior Court, but conditions of the agreement were not disclosed. Neither the widow’s attorney nor the lawyer for Don and Marilyn Sneiderman would comment on the case.

Andrea Sneiderman was expected to give a deposition in the custody case next week, but that will no longer be necessary because of the settlement.

She has denied any involvement in her husband’s death and is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 8.

Attorneys for Andrea Sneiderman are asking a judge to remove her brother-in-law as executor of her late husband's will.

Rusty Sneiderman was gunned down in November 2010 outside his son's Dunwoody preschool. A jury has convicted Hemy Neuman for the murder. His widow, Andrea, now faces charges she conspired with Neuman, her former boss, to have her husband killed because the two were having an affair. Sneiderman denies both the affair and involvement in Rusty's murder and is out of jail on house arrest awaiting trial.

Before Rusty's murder, lawyers said he appointed his brother, Steve, to see that his wishes were carried out.

Sneiderman Wants Bond Restrictions Eased to Attend Religious Service

The arguments were scheduled for October but have been moved to Thursday.

Andrea Sneiderman, accused of being involved in the killing of her husband at a daycare center, that many Sandy Springs children attend, was released with several restrictions on a $500,000 bond in August.

She was limited to her parents' home, she must wear an ankle bracelet and she had to surrender her passport.

On Friday, the court gave notice that Sneiderman will attempt to change those restrictions so that she can attend religious services.

Sneiderman was scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 8. A bond hearing is now set for 1:30 p.m., Thursday.

Andrea Sneiderman seemingly was handed a legal and personal setback last week when DeKalb Superior Court Judge Gregory A. Adams set an Oct. 12 hearing date on her request for modification of her bond ruling to allow her to attend services for the Jewish High Holy Days.

On Monday, Judge Adams ordered a change in the date for that hearing to this Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The reason for the change is likely because all but one of the Jewish High Holy Day services listed in her request would have been over by Oct. 12.

Also on Monday, Judge Adams ordered another hearing for Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 1:30 p.m. on Sneiderman’s request to quash a civil case by the state that has frozen $2,275,778 of her cash assets at the Bank of New York Mellon.

2:58 p.m. - Fitzgerald shows how Hemy Neuman and Andrea Sneiderman were together at particular times, due to the proximity of their cell phones.

3:11 p.m. - Fitzgerald continues to list in detail various days and times that both the Andrea Sneiderman phone and Hemy Neuman's phone were in close proximity. The prosecution seems to be focused on dates that the 2 were supposedly traveling together for business.

3:30 p.m. - Phone records show almost constant contact between the Neuman phone and the Sneiderman. The prosecution continues to show the phone activity leading up to the murder.

4:01 p.m. - Cell tower information revealed that Neuman was not at GE on the morning of the murder.

4:10 p.m. - Cell records prove that Hemy Neuman cell phone number was the most contacted contact from Andrea Sneiderman's cell phone during a six-month-period before the murder.

DECATUR, Ga. -- A judge has dismissed a motion to decide what should happen to more than $2 million in assets belonging to accused murdered Andre Sneiderman.

The money comes primarily from a life insurance policy she cashed in after her husband's murder.

Instead, attorneys will bring the matter before a Fulton County judge since according to prosecutors that is the county where Sneiderman has a bank office she uses.

The money was frozen in August, after prosecutors charged Sneiderman with racketeering and murder in August.

Prosecutors filed an evidence list this week that lists more than 9,000 pages of evidence and an additional 91 disks of recordings and interviews in Andrea Sneiderman's case

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. —
Channel 2 Action News has obtained a new list of evidence for the upcoming trial of a woman accused of killing her husband outside their son’s day care.

Andrea Sneiderman is charged with murder in the 2010 shooting that killed her husband, Rusty. Her former GE Energy supervisor, Hemy Neuman, is already serving a life sentence for pulling the trigger.

Prosecutors filed the evidence list this week as they shared the case file with Sneiderman’s defense team. The document lists more than 9,000 pages of evidence and an additional 91 disks of recordings and interviews.

Discovery evidence filed this week by prosecutors charging Andrea Sneiderman in the killing of her husband indicates a case similar to the one brought against the Dunwoody widow’s former boss, Hemy Neuman.

Neuman was sentenced to life in prison in March for fatally shooting Rusty Sneiderman outside his son’s daycare facility. The Cobb County engineer’s relationship with Andrea Sneiderman figured prominently in that case and will again in the second trial, as prosecutors are alleging the former co-workers conspired to kill the Dunwoody entrepreneur.

The warrant, which was executed four days after Neuman was found guilty but mentally ill on March 15, asked for a judge’s permission to have the FBI examine Andrea Sneiderman’s Blackberry Bold cellphone because the DeKalb County district attorney’s office lacked the capability to analyze it.

Now, the courts are dealing with two wrongful death lawsuits arising from the killing: One filed by Andrea Sneiderman against Neuman, and another filed by Steve Sneiderman against Andrea.

Friday, during a hearing on the widow’s motion to dismiss her brother-in-law’s suit, the man’s attorney argued that his client’s lawsuit, not the widow’s, should stand.

“This wrongful death case does not belong to her,” Esther Panitch told Fulton County Superior Court Judge Doris Downs. “She is alleged to be [Neuman’s] co-conspirator. How can she sue Hemy Neuman … if she is aligned with him?”

ATLANTA — A Fulton County judge is now deciding whether to dismiss a wrongful death lawsuit against Andrea Sneiderman, the woman accused of conspiring with her former boss and alleged lover to have her husband killed.

Rusty Sneiderman's older brother, Steven, filed the suit months before a DeKalb County grand jury indicted Andrea Sneiderman on murder, conspiracy and other charges. Steven Sneiderman is seeking to control the assets of his late brother for the benefit his niece and nephew.

"My brother's primary concern was the health and welfare of his children," Steven Sneiderman testified, adding that his brother trusted him to carry out his wishes to benefit the two children, ages 4 and 7.

DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — The widow of an entrepreneur gunned down outside a suburban Atlanta preschool in 2010 has pleaded not guilty to charges related to her husband's death.

Andrea Sneiderman appeared at an arraignment hearing Monday morning in DeKalb County Superior Court. She faces a variety of charges, including malice murder and criminal attempt to commit murder.

The prosecution said this morning that Andrea Sneiderman's trial can last five weeks, a date for the trial to start has not been set.

Prosecutors in the murder case against Andrea Sneiderman advanced a theory in court Friday that she had Hemy Neuman kill her husband so she could be with another man.

They announced a new addition to the state’s witness list in the case: Joseph Dell, who they alleged is Sneiderman’s live-in boyfriend.

DeKalb County Chief Assistant District Attorney Don Geary said there is evidence that the Dunwoody widow had her husband, Rusty, shot to death “not for Mr. Neuman to be with the defendant, but someone else” — Dell.

Plot thickens in Sneiderman's alleged conspiracy to murder husband

Andrea Sneiderman was allegedly having an affair with her boss Hemy Neuman; however, prosecutors suggested in court Nov. 16 that another man may have played a role in her alleged plot to murder her husband Rusty Sneiderman.

However, an updated witness list given to defense attorneys includes the name Joseph Dell, whom prosecutors said is currently living with Sneiderman at her parents’ house, where she is under house arrest.

“We believe it credible that Mr. Dell left his wife six months pregnant about six and a half months after the murder of Rusty and at that time, openly took up a relationship with the defendant,” Chief Assistant District Attorney Don Geary said.

Sneiderman’s defense attorney’s described the exact nature of her relationship with Dell as “to be determined in the future.” However, defense attorney Thomas Clegg said Dell’s relationship with the defendant will have no bearing on the outcome of the case.

“They are close friends and at this time Mr. Dell is providing invaluable assistance for Mrs. Sneiderman by virtue of helping her pick up her kids from school, which she may not do, and taking the kids to dance practice or soccer practice,” Clegg said.

DECATUR — A judge has denied a request by a woman charged in the slaying of her husband outside a suburban Atlanta preschool to attend depositions in the case in person.

A DeKalb County Superior Court judge released an order Tuesday saying Andrea Sneiderman may listen electronically to depositions in her case.

The judge says Sneiderman may not interrupt the deposition but may talk to her lawyer as long as no one else present at the deposition hears the conversation.

FULTON COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) - Motions filed in Fulton County court have shed light on the alleged love affair Andrea Sneiderman was having with a friend, Joseph Dell.

In documents filed this week in a wrongful death civil suit filed by Rusty Sneiderman's brother, attorneys for Andrea Sneiderman said she did not have sex with Dell before his divorce this past summer.

Attorneys, however, did say Dell told Andrea Sneiderman he loved her while she was locked up in jail after her arrest in August.

"Whether or not Andrea Sneiderman slept with this new fellow, slept with Mr. Neuman or slept with anybody is not relevant," said former prosecutor Ken Hodges, who has been following the high-profile case. "The only relevant thing is did she solicit Hemy Neuman to commit murder against her former husband, her deceased husband?"

Wow, Alessandra, I have not been hanging out on this site for awhile. Just started visiting again. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised at 'Mrs.' Sneiderman. She appeared very manipulative at Hemy's trial. For the life of me, I don't see what these guys see in her. She must be extraordinary in the sack. Her personality wasn't too likeable and her physical attributes aren't noteworthy either. This latest guy leaves his 6 month pregnant wife for Andrea???? Sometimes there are either no words, or not enough words.

The focus of attention on Andrea Sneiderman’s legal cases switched to the wrongful death suit filed by her brother-in-law last week and the attorneys for the opposing sides were embroiled in attacks and counter-attacks in court briefs filed in Fulton County Superior Court.

Counsel for Sneiderman claimed the civil case is “rife with false allegations designed to embarrass and harass” the widow of Rusty Sneiderman and her alleged new paramour.

DECATUR, GA (CBS ATLANTA) - Court documents obtained Friday indicate Andrea Sneiderman's attorneys want the eight-count indictment, which includes the charge of murder, thrown out.

Sneiderman is accused of conspiring with her boss, Hemy Neuman, to kill her husband, Rusty, outside a Dunwoody day care in 2010. She and Neuman were reportedly having an affair.

Despite the publicity in the case, attorneys did not file for a change of venue in motions filed Friday. They are confident they can find an impartial jury in DeKalb County.

The deadline for Andrea Sneiderman's lawyers to seek a change of venue in the case has passed without lawyers filing a pre-trial motion, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution.

The deadline means that Sneiderman's attorneys won't seek a change of venue under normal circumstances, but could still do so if they face difficulty assembling a jury who hasn't heard of the highly publicized trial.

Sneiderman's attorneys are also petitioning to have a third man, Joseph Dell, removed from the wintness list.

The tangled murder case against Andrea Sneiderman for the death of her husband may have become more difficult to prove since prosecutors introduced suspicions of another man in her life.

The theory of the case alleged in the indictment—that Sneiderman worked with her boss, Hemy Neuman, to kill Rusty Sneiderman so they could be together and benefit from $2 million in life insurance—was cast into doubt when prosecutors suggested the idea that perhaps she had her husband killed so that she could be with a third man, Joseph Dell.

"The State is not sure about its case," said a Dec. 7 motion signed by Sneiderman attorneys Thomas Clegg, J. Tom Morgan, John Petrey and Douglas Chalmers Jr. "Counsel for the Defendant noted at the time that this new allegation was completely 'fanciful.'"

Sneiderman's defense attorneys are asking a judge to prohibit any mention of her relationship with Dell because they say it's irrelevant. DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Gregory Adams has scheduled a Feb. 21 hearing on the issue.

The woman accused of conspiring to kill her husband, Beachwood native Russell Sneiderman, is now allowed to contact a male friend who prosecutors have suggested could be a witness in her trial.

A judge ruled yesterday that Andrea Sneiderman could again have contact with Joseph Dell.
