Yeah, rewatching her testimony last night stirred up all kinds of hate in me. She's just evil.

Sounds like Juan was smoking him... did he get him to admit that he didn't know everything!! Laughing

Got him to back track and admit he knew NOTHING, IMO.
Every expert witness Gaffy dumped on Juan got him to admit he did not know what he was talking about! Really nailed it with the pics (shown only to him) of Travis' skull and of the brain. Turns out Gaffy has never done an autopsy; never attended a full autopsy; in fact, has only attended AFTER the brain had been removed... and that was ONCE.

Denise Viola - OK - just listening to the awful sex tape on Tru-tv and a thought just came to mind....(sorry don't know if it was mentioned before). BUT this tape was supposedly tape a few weeks before he was murdered and JA claims she was trying to help TA get over his attraction to young boys and girls yet when he says she sounds like a 12 year old she totally gets into it...WTH??? If she was trying to help him wouldn't that be her clue to start talking about his "PROBLEM". I know that wasn't the real purpose of the tape but I think it would be an interesting point to bring up in trial.....what do you think?

Great point!!!

JA is going to be tired. She has been up since @ 3 AM... and has to be back in court tomorrow! Wonder if she will bring her cold sore with her? Bet she starts to let down some of that ugly pretense she has been carrying around!

Jodi's face is fugly.

Her eyes are too small and one of 'em is crooked.

Her nose is all bulgeous.

And her teeth are crooked on her right side.

===Wilmot asked a question;
Martinez objected;
Judge sustained it.
Wilmot pushed on and asked, "Briefly, what happened?"

Judge ordered an approach!

...
Now we are on to another case, the Clark case, in which he was discredited.
Gaffy said he did not have enough time to present it all.
Ruling went against him.
(Hmmm. In the JA case, Gaffy had a WEEK to prepare!)

Then we have the French case.
His testimony was not allowed in entirety.
He was not allowed to testify outside his expertize.

Juan is really frustrating Wilmot by throwing out objections every time she says anything! Laughing Got a bench now!

This is funny! Juan is continuing to object and the judge is siding with him!

No

yeah, that's like me

I own the agency, I bring in money - but I just pay myself a salary. I don't increase my paychecks when bringing in large amounts of money.

What we want to know is - how much is his annual salary?

Yes, a good old sing along song....interesting thought to apply the lyrics to someone with a death sentence. I always kind of assumed the song was about a terminal illness or maybe like a suicide goodbye.

Terry Jacks - Seasons in the Sun
Goodbye to you
my trusted friend
We've known each other since we were nine or ten
Together we've climbed hills and trees
Learned of love and A-B-C's
Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees.
Goodbye
my friend
it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky;
Now that the spring is in the air
Pretty girls are ev'rywhere
Think of me and I'll be there.
We had joy
we had fun
We had seasons in the sun;
But the hills that we climbed
Were just seasons out of time.
Goodbye
Papa
please pray for me
I was the black sheep of the family;
You tried to teach me right from wrong
Too much wine and too much song
wonder how I got along.
Goodbye
papa
it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky;
( From: http://www.elyrics.net )
Now that the spring is in the air
Little children ev'rywhere
When you'll see them
I'll be there.
We had joy
we had fun
We had seasons in the sun;
But the wine and the song
Like the seasons have all gone.{Repeat last 5 lines}
Goodbye
Michelle
my little one
You gave me love and helped me find the sun;
And ev'ry time that I was down
You would always come around
And get my feet back on the ground.
Goodbye
Michelle
it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky;
Now that the spring is in the air
With the flowers ev'rywhere;
I wish that we could both be there.
We had joy
we had fun
We had seasons in the sun;
But the stars we could reach
Were just star-fish on the beach.
Lyrics from eLyrics.net

@ Freckles....I can hear you singing along...don't think I can't. Very Happy

Silly girl. I scheduled my doc appt for yesterday - my labs for this Saturday morning.

and my f/u visit for May 13th. I can't push that one out any further - so we had BETTER have this wrapped up by then! Course my appt is at 12:10pm - aren't we usually out for lunch with this case?

Dr. Jill will have to come on today... this guy is making a mess... what are we to believe? I don't think any of this has anything to do with the murder but jurors pick up on some of the oddest things so you need to cover all bases...

Jury questions
1. How does incarceration, etc., effect the test scores?
Scores will be elevated on the MCI but not on other tests.

2. Is it possible a person would score differently AFTER killing someone than before?
Yes. Yes on personality, too.

3. High and low scales on MMPI tests: ...

Heard a really good explanation today about why there are so many sidebars. They have to do with something called speaking objections, where you don't want the jury to hear what is being objected to, so as not to prejudice them against their client. Makes sense, but I still think there were too many in this case. Again it goes back to the judge not keeping control of the Dteam.

TWEET Jury questions

michaelbkiefer Can someone manipulate the specific tests? Geffner says it would take training to be able to manipulate all of them.

---He does NOT know JA, does he??? No

michaelbkiefer Geffner says his institute would probably bill about $13,000 for 70-80 hours of work since November, which goes to the institute, not him. 30 seconds ago

michaelbkiefer Would the bullet not drop a person immediately? Not necessarily, Geffne says. 2 minutes ago ยท

michaelbkiefer The jury asked if the lack of hemorrhage could be because the gunshot took place after death. Unlikely.

===Is it come for a defendant to score high on these tests?
Yes.

---Anxiety, stress, show up due to incarceration and death penalty?

---Dd you know these were JA's or were these anonymous? Knew it was JA's... did not know details of the trial. Said he was given tests "he knew nothing about..."

michaelbkiefer Geffner says Arias meets the criteria for PTSD. 56 seconds ago

michaelbkiefer Does it matter that a person lied about what the trauma was? Geffner says yes in that you want to know, but it wouldn't invalidate the test. about 1 minute ago
