The Jodi Arias Death Penalty Retrial (Sentencing): Day 12 - "A Juror's Perspective"

This Jury is going to do everything it can to connect the dots despite what the prior Jury has ruled in the previous two phases. This Jury knows that Jodi Arias was convicted of premeditated murder and that this case is death penalty qualified in that the murder was determined to be cruel and heinous. In spite of those decisions, they will need to understand the premeditation and why this crime was as cruel and heinous as it was. It is human instinct.

The Jurors become detectives in the deliberation room as they try to recreate the murder and the reasons that it happened. I speak as a Juror from the recent conviction of Marissa DeVault in the premeditated and cruel and heinous killing of Dale Harrell. She was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole. The death penalty was on the table and we were able to weigh mitigating factors that in no way excused the killing. Some of us will always wonder if the death penalty would have been the appropriate sentence.

These Jurors will eventually step into the deliberation room and will, at this point, have over two hundred pieces of evidence. They will look at pictures of the cruel death of Travis Alexander. They will see the gas can receipts as well as Jodi Arias' hand print on the wall and her behavior after the killing. The behavior before a killing is important but the behavior after the killing is just as important. It is of merit because it shows consciousness of guilt.

Our Jury spent days discussing Marissa DeVault's behavior after the killing of Dale Harrell because we were searching for answers prior to the killing. For example, we spent a significant amount of time discussing whether DeVault had yanked the shorts off of Dale Harrell just after she bludgeoned him with a hammer multiple times. We saw shin burns on his legs and Eric Basta, the Prosecutor, pointed to this as evidence she took the shorts off of Dale to show that he was nude which went toward the idea that DeVault was saying that he was raping her at the time of the assault.

We concluded that Dale was not raping her and we concluded that the murder was premeditated. We were not able to find that the evidence was strong enough to say that she ripped the shorts from him even though many of us believed it possible. We tried to connect the dots but some would always remain unconnected.

Similar to the Arias Trial, we suffered through days of Psychological testimony. As I mentioned in a previous posted Perspective, the testimony of Psychologists is difficult for a Jury because of its subjective nature. It is no different in this case. This Jury has seen days of Dr. Fonseca on the stand and will be able to glean very little evidence of what she has said...it is subjective and opinions can vary on what one Psychologist says to what another Psychologist might say.

We witnessed Dr.DeMarte in action at the DeVault Trial and her opinion will be far different from that of Dr. Fonseca.

We were gathered in the hallway outside the Courtroom for day 12 of the Arias Trial and we saw Dr. Fonseca walk by. I saw her and dreaded the fact that she would be on the stand again. I know the Jury felt the same way upon seeing her step up to the witness chair. The testimony is tedious and slow. It is difficult to grasp.

This won't stop the Jury for looking for answers. They will not get a Court Transcript. They will only get evidence as accepted by the Court.

Dr. Fonseca was on the stand discussing a line by line detail of an email between Travis Alexander and Jodi Arias written on May 26, 2008. This heated email is only 9 days before the death of Travis Alexander. This piece of evidence, numbered as 741, will go back to the Jury room and they will read it line by line. They will play Detective and try to understand the motivations and what is said in between the lines. They will see this as Travis Alexander speaking from the grave.

This letter was posted on various screens for all to see around the Courtroom. Although Dr. Fonseca was speaking, I can tell you that each Jury was reading the email in their own process of discovery.

Travis Alexander writes to Jodi, "...you have been more a cause of pain than the death of my father. You are relentless in your torture of people that have loved you and protected you and served you. What do you do? You try to destroy them. You are the lowest of the low. You are sick and evil and knowing you makes me want to kill myself in punishment."

He says, "I don't even know if you are human...even when you are telling the truth, you are lying."

The Jury will be able to review some of her evilness and lack of respect in his burning words when he speaks, "I know you got into my computer and erased a letter I sent to Lisa. I know you did."

Arias responds innocently, "What? No."

"Shut up," Travis says, "I know you slashed my tires...I don't want any more lies. You slashed my tires, you stole my journals. God, I know it."

"I may be a liar, I may be a whore. I may be evil. I may not be worth all the air that I breathe. I may be like the most horrible person you have ever had the misfortune of knowing," Jodi Arias defends, "but the one thing I am NOT is violent. I did not and would not slash your tires...you deserve so much more than the crap I have given you. You deserve a wealth that is beyond this world..."

Dr. Fonseca speaks but the Jury is reading words on the screen. They are seeing Travis Alexander and they will look at Jodi Arias in the Defendant's seat. Their minds are processing. They continue to read while listening to Fonseca drone in the background.

Travis Alexander writes, "Tell me the truth: I hate you. Say it. I want the truth just once and then tell me why you hate me and desire to destroy my life. Why did you manipulate me into loving you? I was a good guy. Why did you have to do it to me? ...What was your objective? What was the point?...Even now you only talk but your actions show that you hate me."

"What do you want me to say? Whatever the purpose is. It's not marriage. It's not sex....you are like an Angel that gets snared by my evil influence," Jodi writes prophetically.

This Jury will try to decipher these words and connect the dots to his horrific murder. They will have a hard time doing it. They will more than likely get into heated discussions how this incident happened, despite a Jury's prior ruling. They may never find an answer but they will look at and read these documents over and over again.

Kirk Nurmi completed his questioning of Dr. Fonseca. She sat on the stand and waited for Juan Martinez. She may even have been content with her testimony and opinions.

Juan stood up and began pacing. It was as if a thunderstorm were over our heads as the hail began to rain down. He was a tornado of passion as he attacked Dr. Fonseca and her credibility. There was a point when Dr. Fonseca said that she could not hear him and that he must speak up. Juan Martinez gladly obliged.

Some Jurors might feel empathy for Dr. Fonseca as he destroyed her credibility. He did not destroy her thirty-five years of experience in sexual deviancy but instead went after her basis of conclusions. Did she interview anyone else in this case? Did she interview the victim's family? Did she speak with Jodi Arias' family? Was she aware of the dates of documents she reviewed and the importance of sequencing? Did she think it important that Jodi Arias reported her phone stolen and then it reappeared for the recordings just in time for the trial?

Juan Martinez showed passion for the victim, Travis Alexander, and for his family who sit in the front row every day as they have the length of both trials. He was aggressive. He showed no mercy. He was a booming voice in a Courtroom that had been otherwise cluttered with what some might call nonsense.

There were objections by the defense all afternoon long. Dr. Fonseca was on the defense. Her rambling seemed unimportant and non-scientific. It was fuzzy and loose. It no longer felt like evidence and Juries love evidence they can touch and feel.

The Jury watched in rapt attention as Juan pursued his prey. I saw the seven note takers writing furiously. It is one of those note takers that the Foreperson will arise from.

I saw the Jury act more interested in the events on the floor than I had seen in all the days of Dr. Fonseca on the stand.

The path to Justice is not easy. The path to Justice requires genuine passion. Juan Martinez showed more passion in one day than the defense has throughout the length of the trial.

These Jurors will not have answers, yet. There is still a long path to walk. They will not have formulated an answer in their mind.

But, they will be impacted as they go home for the weekend.

They have not seen Dr. DeMarte. They don't know that Dr. DeMarte will finish the execution of Dr. Fonseca. I call her the "Psycho-Killer" in my book, Brain Damage: A Juror's Tale", for a reason.

Finally, I feel as if we are making forward progress in our collective search for Justice for Travis and his family...

".....Normally, court proceedings will not go longer than an hour and a half due to OSHA regulations regarding the Court Reporter, the person who tediously documents testimony. The Court Reporter must be given a break every 90 minutes as explained by Judge Steinle III in the DeVault proceedings In most instances, the Judge will recess the Jury and Court for at least ten minutes and the lunch recess will be an hour to an hour and a half.

Today, though, Judge Stevens did not excuse the Jury for a break but instead told them that they could stand in place and stretch for five minutes. I was taken aback. The Jury was still on stage and was forced to stretch in front of the court. It is a nuance more than irritant and it was not protocol for normal proceedings. After the stretch, the Jury sat down while Kirk Nurmi put in a CD at the defense table for the court and Jury to see and hear.

The court was silent as he fiddled and dinked around with the equipment. Randy, the Bailiff, hurried over to assist when the CD showed a visual but lacked sound. The silence in the courtroom changed ever so perceptibly to an uncomfortable silence. He turned the machine on and off and still there was no sound. Personally, I was embarrassed for the man. It would seem like they might have thought to test the exhibit before presenting it in open court.

I looked over at the Jury. There were not merely looking at Kirk Nurmi, they were staring and glaring him down. I saw arms crossed on chests. I saw their stationary eyes fixed on the defense and the computer mis-machinations. The time wore on as the unmoving glares of the Jury stayed fixed on the inept defense team.

I know this feeling. There was a point in the Marissa DeVault Hammer Killing Trial where the prosecution played a CD that had only sound but not visual. The CD featured multiple recordings of DeVault calling home from the Buckeye Jail manipulating her semi-co-conspirator (if there is such a thing). The recordings were awful and almost unintelligible. We had to listen to hours of these tape fragments.

We were understandably upset as a collective unit. We were upset for two reasons. The first was that we would have thought that the Prosecution should have known that this was a poor medium for us to hear the evidence and that it should have been tested before it's presentation. It felt like we wasted hours listening to unintelligible mumbo jumbo. It made the Prosecution look amateur.

The second reason we were upset was simply because the evidence was overkill and unnecessary. We had enough evidence and this seemed like "filler". Eventually, we did spend hours in the deliberation room going through the CD and we were able to hear it with clarity. Not unexpected, the CD recordings had no effect on our eventual decisions.

When I saw the faces of the Jurors in the Arias proceeding, I felt they felt the same way. They were tired of Dr. Fonseca and she was to remain on the stand during the Freeman's prior testimony. When the defense couldn't get the equipment to work properly, the Jury's faces told me they had enough. Emotion and face reading is an intangible thing but their faces spoke volumes.

The Judge was smart enough to dismiss for lunch recess. It was a bad moment for the defense. It is nothing that can be carried into the deliberation room but the general countenance of the Jury is starting to tell me that they are not buying the defense argument just as I felt the Prosecution in our case was overkill.

Oftentimes, I sit next to Kathy Brown in The Gallery or public seating. Kathy is well versed in court ethics, is the number one supporter for the Travis family, has been to the previous trial and knows everyone. She gives me tidbits of information that I usually lock in the back of my head or make a note about. During a recess, sho pointed out a Jodi Arias Supporter. She noted to me that she was wearing an armband that read "Free Jodi". ...... "

In the court, the jury DAILY sees the face of JA. They do not see the face of the victim or the victim in death. They do wear a simple blue ribbon in support of their loved one; however, the JA clan has decided to wear the same blue ribbon in support of.... abuse?

Please tell me that what the Judge did by not permitting the break that Jodi can not use this as a reason for an appeal? And seriously, there is anyone out there that is willing to wear an armband in open court supporting Jodi.. but the victims family can wear armbands Justice for Travis.. seems like there is no end to the inequity offered to the victim.

I don't know how to respond to your comments. I do not know if the errors of the judge re the court breaks and manner of breaks is enough to constitute a mistrial. I doubt it. But Nurmi would be the first to jump on it. Re the wearing of items identifying the wearer to support of a particular side or view: IIRC, Travi's family was permitted to wear the blue ribbons but NOT a picture of Travis within or near the ribbon, no buttons.... JA's family protested the wearing of the ribbons and JSS told them they could wear ribbons if they chose. They decided to wear blue ribbons as well as to protest Domestic Violence.

To my knowledge, no one has worn armbands supporting any person or cause in this case. I only present that as an extreme example for the purpose of illustrating my point.

Sorry, I don't know how to post links, but Wild About Trial just posted that the defense has 3 more witnesses who won't tesify in public, including someone who will swear that TA told him about his propensity for child porn. The defense has filed a motion to drop the DP yet again.

Question: I know the Alexander family wants the death penalty, but when will they be willing to say enough is enough and shut down the games of this murderer. Sentence her sorry behind to life without parole, her 15 minutes will fade as soon as JSS signs that order. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see her strapped to a gurney, but this family has suffered and lost so much, isn't it time to begin healing? As long as there are defense attorneys willing to drag the victim through the mud, I don't see any peace in their future. My heart breaks for them, having to endure this never ending nightmare.

Hi everyone.  It was yet ANOTHER motion filed by Nurmi.  He did not get his way with the Court of Appeals so he turns back to JSS and presses her to order secrecy for these 3 witnesses and, oh yeah, for good measure, let's just take off that silly little Death Penalty, donchaknow.

Jodi Arias' defense team has again filed a motion asking the judge to dismiss the death penalty. Due to the Court of Appeals ruling last week, the defense claims they have three witnesses that will not testify on behalf of Arias unless it is done in 'secret'.

They list the three witnesses as: 'a longtime boyfriend'. If that is Darryl Brewer, that does not hold water because he already testified in open court during the murder trial. Next is 'a former co-worker'

As far as a witness that will swear that TA told him he had a sexual attraction to boys---Well, in the first place you can bet your bippy if such a credible person with proof existed you can bet this slimy DT would have found him DURING THE TRIAL.
Seriously??? This is ridiculous and is just another sleazy defense desperation trick.

The fact that these "witnesses" won't testify in open court is a huge red flag in the first place. They all have NO info---I repeat---NO info that Juan could not demolish in 2 minutes, and at best can only say "Jodi was so wonderful" and the like.
They are all a joke, I guarantee. The prosecution has nothing to worry about.

As far as the protracted nature of all of this, the games, the lies, the...sidebars and whether it is "worth it" or not, I don't feel any of us can truly walk in the Alexander family's shoes nor judge them for a decision that they ALL evidently feel is important and the right one for them and for their murdered brother. Perhaps they feel that because they have already endured unimaginable emotional torture during the years since Travis' death and during the trial, they feel that they MUST see this through to the end. Perhaps they feel if they throw in the towel now, they might regret it some day down the road...
That is their right and entirely their decision.

One other thing; I could be wrong, and correct me if I am, but I thought that IF the jury cannot all agree on the DP or life, the judge then is the ONLY one to pass sentence, and SHE would then have the option to give Jodi life WITH the possibility of parole in 25 years!
If this is so, I think the Alexander family would be horrified beyond endurance.
It may be that they are doing this because they are hoping this jury will all agree on EITHER DEATH OR LIFE WITH NO POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE, and that any possibility of a future parole would be off the table.
I can certainly understand that completely.
I support them in the decision they have all come to together.
I pray that this jury will see the wisdom in making sure Jodi never ever has the opportunity to be harm someone else and ruin lives, for I am absolutely sure that she would, it given the chance.

Please don't misunderstand me, I meant no disrespect to the family. I was just thinking about them and their lives that have been put on hold these past years and having their heart ripped out by the felon time and time again. I just can't imagine the hell they go through each day. I agree, it was and is their decision to see this through. They are a very brave family and I hope their unwavering quest for a just outcome is finally fulfilled.

I agree with 18th: IF there had been a credible witness, Nurmi would have demanded that person to stand forth during the trial and not hold off for mitigation.

As tedious as this is and as annoying as Nurmi might be, let the system run. I do not want to leave this with the only two options of life with/without parole. IF she gets life with parole, I fear she will be given credit for time served and then be eligible for early release.
Personally, I find her a danger to society and do not ever want her released from custody. Any person who professes to love another and then proceeds to kill that person, whether it be a parent, spouse, child, etc., that killer has something twanged in the brain. Love does not kill. Love helps and heals and soothes....

I have read the bits and pieces of email Travis wrote in the six months up to the week prior to his death. JA certainly played upon Travis' sexual nature to have her way with him. The last email shows his frustration and desperation when he demands she say, "I HATE YOU," and she changes the topic keeping her upper hand. She already knew she was going to see him and she would likely be killing him... which is the reason she took the gun. I felt his frustration with her when he demands she tell him WHY are you doing this to him... and she can't provide an answer. Why can't she? Because she must control him; he has figured her out and she can not allow him to live because he knows her more than she wants him to know her; yes, she must control ALL in her sphere and has found sex works with the males.

This is a sick family, IMO. I watched vid of the grandmother in her wheelchair outside the court one day of the main trial. She was wheeled down the sidewalk a way and then she stood up and walked of her volition. Walked perfectly fine. The mother and the aunt sitting there smacking gum, chatting and smiling in the midst of a murder trial of their family member. I watched the younger brother rapt with attention as the sexual events JA discussed with Nurmi. The younger bro who bragged about speeding in the drive down. The younger sister who appears to struggle with responsibility.... she had her child with out marriage and apparently lets the grandmother babysit while she goes to works... in law enforcement! There is hope for her as she was embarrassed when JA had to read the text calling her "stupid".... but if she continues with this family, they will suck her and her child down. JmO.

I doubt if the secrecy element will be allowed as the other witnesses are probably not minor children nor are they endangered. Today I interviewed someone very close to Marc McGee who also has intimate knowledge of what Marc claims about Travis and pornography. I have been asked to not reveal his name but have his permission to give all the details of our conversation.

Marc and Travis met in the LDS singles ward in Riverside, Ca. In 2000, McGee told my source that he was at a Family Home Evening activity at Bishop Vernon Parker's house. Later in the evening, McGee and Travis were sitting in a car in front of Bishop Parker's house when Travis allegedly confessed to McGee that he had a problem with internet pornography. The judge wants the jury to write down their concerns and put it in the box since this trial will probably go into Jan.

The sexpert if still up.
Juan starts off and wants to know if she viewed photos on the internet regarding this case? Yes.
Juan wants to see all the stuff she looked at on the internet- Nurmi objects- and the sexpert says "If you wanted to see them, you should go look for yourself"
The sexpert refuses to answer with a yes or no. She starts to complain to the judge.
Juan asks her if she has memory problems. She won't answer. They continue to battle back and forth with words. He even brings up previous research she's done, plus mentions an assessment tool she made and she refuses to answer yes or no. The sexpert tells Juan to "stand back a little" and Jodi is smiling at this point.

Juan brings up the photoshoot text (the one where Travis wants to tie Jodi to a tree)Text was May 2nd, 9:13am and from Travis. 3 minutes later there's another one. 3 minutes later another one. Juan points out a piece of the text that says "muse" Juan asks if that means it's an email. IM between Travis and Jodi...Jodi says "You've been a fantastic outlet for my musings"
Sexpert says she doesn't know if this word "musing" suggests male or female.

I have been working this over and over.
All the "dummy" stuff with the journals, etc., JA has been working on since she left AZ back in April, 2008. She was working on discrediting him to his community. The sex tape was just a back up in case the journals, pics did not work tp discredit Travis. The naked penis of Daryl's had to do as she did not have a close up of Travis. The one of him on the bed was taken from a corner of the room behind the bed where he could not see what she was doing... could not object. So now we are down to this. WHEN did JA decide to murder Travis and WHY?


Here is my best:

1. Doc is from May 26, 2008. It is between JA and Travis.
2. Travis is fed up with JA. He is unloading his anger with her.
3. Travis is expressing his realization she has used him and is trying to ruin him within the Mormon church and his business, his friends.
4. Traivs is telling her how deeply she has hurt him... without Travis comprehending she does not care about his pain

5. JA is trying to soothe Travis so she can control him
6. Travis is back to raging and comparing her actions to a master=mind

7. This is important and refers to a conversation we are NOT seeing. I am thinking it is a reference to the so called sex tape.
Apparently, JA has threatened to send some private info out to others. Travis is NOT trembling in fear but tells her to GO ON and DO IT. He no longer cares. (This means JA can NO LONGER control him! She will not be able to use this info to blackmail him into anything including marriage... and he might discredit her from being able to "pick over" the pool of young Mormon missionaries. )
Not becoming able to control the object of her intent would send JA into a deliberate rage for now it is TRAVIS WHO CONTROLS and may have the power to destroy her. She will not let this happen!

8. Travis is again coming to terms with JA. He confronts her with the deceit of her stealing his journals and then the slashing of the car tires. This is almost as if he can not believe HE was so badly conned.

9. JA admits she is a low life but states she is NOT VIOLENT. Yet, in Feb 2007 communication, JA tells Travis she IS violent and destructive, kicking holes in doors, walls, etc.

10. Travis now admitting to himself JA never valued him as a person.

11. JA is being honest here. She did not know how it got so out of control. She is not used to being so out of control over a man.

12. IMO, here is where JA gets the idea to murder Travis since she can not own or control him. He has defeated her. He did not take the bait at black mail. He now says she has murdered him from the inside out... this angers her. He us done playing. She decides right then to ACTUALLY murder him.

13. AB Travis is now spent of his anger. He wants to know WHY she would try to hurt him so deeply when he DID care for her. She is going to control him again by denying she ever tried to hurt him....
At this point, JA knows Travis has unresolved questions and feelings for he. He WILL consent to seeing her. (IMO, he did NOT know she was coming. She simply "popped in" while he was asleep for "one more time..." because she could "not stand to see him so upset with her.... " she really would not try to ruin him as he accused her and that upset her.... She needs to regain a bit of trust so she can now kill him for failing to be controlled by her.)

14. Here Travis is even telling her he WILL ALWAYS fall for taking her back. BINGO! He just opened the door....

Because she must control him; he has figured her out and she can not allow him to live because he knows her more than she wants him to know her; yes, she must control ALL in her sphere and has found sex works with the males.

This is a sick family, IMO. I watched vid of the grandmother in her wheelchair outside the court one day of the main trial. She was wheeled down the sidewalk a way and then she stood up and walked of her volition. Walked perfectly fine. The mother and the aunt sitting there smacking gum, chatting and smiling in the midst of a murder trial of their family member. I watched the younger brother rapt with attention as the sexual events JA discussed with Nurmi. The younger bro who bragged about speeding in the drive down. The younger sister who appears to struggle with responsibility.... she had her child with out marriage and apparently lets the grandmother babysit while she goes to works... in law enforcement! There is hope for her as she was embarrassed when JA had to read the text calling her "stupid".... but if she continues with this family, they will suck her and her child down. JmO.

You know, IF this stupid Dr. F. had read the above email in it's entirely, and IF the jury does, I would think it would be all they would need!
This CLEARLY shows:

1. That Travis had loved Jodi at least for a time, and she was NOT a booty call.

2. That Jodi alienated and killed all affection he had for her by lying, sneaking, attempted blackmail, threats, stalking, etc. and that Travis was sincerely shocked and hurt by her actions, and came to realize that she was amoral and evil.

3. I think that his remarks about taking her back were not because he wanted sex, but because he was a good man who couldn't grasp that someone he loved and trusted could REALLY be that horrible. Think of all the abused women who take back their abusers hoping they will change and that the good in them will prevail...

4. When Travis mentions suicide, the way the Dr. for Def. painted it was completely out of context. He is only venting his frustration at what he sees as his own stupidity for getting involved with and trusting Jodi Arias. (Think of what all of us have said on bad days: "Oh, I could jump off a bridge.." or " Just shoot me now"...)

5. Travis is calling Jodi's bluff in his email and refusing to be blackmailed. Jodi indeed has lost all control and ALL HOPE OF BEING MRS. ALEXANDER. I do believe she made her decision to kill him then, and I do believe that although he did not know she was coming that day, he was a sucker for the "Oh I am so sorry, I just want to talk, I just want to part on good terms"...etc.

I think this email clearly shows that Travis was a kind, honest man looking for real love, that he was completely out of his league when he encountered pure evil and manipulation, and that he tried to love and help Jodi all he could. Travis just couldn't believe that there are people so sick and evil that they cannot change. He was all about change and second chances!
The email explicitly contradicts everything Jodi and her team are saying.

There are NO mitigating circumstances that I can see, and there is the very real probability that if Jodi ever got out, she would wreak havoc in many lives and kill again.
If I were a juror, this one document clears up any questions, end of story.

This morning was exhausting, but Juan was able to show that Dr. F's evasiveness and refusal to answer "yes or no" or even verify the TRANSCRIPT from her previous days' testimony unveils her bias against TA and "for" JA. Bias came through loud and clear and I cannot imagine the jury did not pick up on that.

IMO, some sort of "arrangement" has been set up with the so called witnesses so as to benefit the dt.
This is NOT objective as the Freeman testifying was.
Perhaps, they are being told, "Stay close in case we need you. Oooops! We can't promise you safety so you are not needed..." type of thing.

Duh. I talked about this on here last week. WHY didn't Juan bring in testimony from the Hughes that details exactly that! I said that Chris H. very eloquently detailed again on that radio show last week how they started off liking Jodi and exactly what some of the "creepy" things were that she did that caused them to have serious doubts about her! I have said all along that this was necessary, but this never seems to be brought home to the jury!

First: Wit never met Travis, never interviewed him; never interviewed ANYONE other than JA per instructions by Nurmi; Second: Wit failed to review ANY docs except those specifically handed to her by Nurmi;
and most important, Travis was PRIVATE not secretive... he did not hide JA or the sexual relationship he simply was a gentleman and did not kiss and tell...

What the hell does this have to do with her STABBING, SHOOTING, and nearly decapitating Travis?
