"crouching tiger/hidden Jodi" HaHa! I'm with you on that. I think he had already shown Jodi to the door and was showering to prep and be ready for his phone conference. In the series of shower photos, TA seems to be in his own world (unaware that he is being photographed) until the 5:27:18 photo in which he seems to be surprised and acknowledging Jodi's presence. The next few photos are out of focus and dont seem intentional (looks like her finger in front of lense in 5:27:28 and 5:28:54). The next intentional photo after we see a "surprised" IMO Travis at 5:27:18 is two minutes later and he is now sitting in the shower staring or glaring (take your pick) at Jodi and the camera. the fact that she use to sneak in around his house all the time and he'd find her hiding in his closet I think it's possible she snuck back in... I mean the pics really were bad and I know the one you're talking about when he looks to the side like WTF? I can't watch in real time either - too busy here in my office. I think AL would have had to have met with Jodi at least once. Remember JM was asking Jodi "isn't it true you told AL that when you saw Travis masturbating to pics of little boys these were images ON HIS COMPUTER???"

Jodi must have said that to AL - before all the evidence came back and showed Travis had ZERO child porn on his computers. So Jodi simply changed it to tangible pictures floating around on his bed.

I had forgotten about that. There has been absolutely no follow up on that in the local coverage. Seems highly suspicious IMO....however, hard to believe JW or Nurmi would jeopardize their careers any more than this lousy case already has. If the burglary is related to this case it would have to be some thug JA or her ex-con buddy Donovan put up to it. Who knows...the whole case is bizarre.

another thing with bringing up the sex tape all the time... JA said on the stand that it was just fantasy talk, that's it... they lived in different states... The only thing we know for sure that happened is the tub... I would imagine that he tagged all 3 holes (3 holed wonder comment) but who's to say they didn't just do it once and that was it?

The speculation is that at some point in his struggle to flee TA ended up on his back and likely used his feet and legs to try to keep JA and the knife away from him. Seems logical enough.

hmmm... the last pic he was on his back so maybe the large blood smear on the east hall wall was him falling to the floor (he's already been stabbed in the chest a couple times, defensive hand wounds, went to the sink, she started on the back, he ran for the hall then slid down the wall..) ME said he'd still be awake for a few minutes to fight back... what if once on the floor he's on his side/back and she's coming after him and like you said he starts kicking at her till she passes him and gets to his head and now he's really weak from his heart beating so hard... what if that last pic is her doing his throat? there is enough blood on the shoulder to show the neck injury is present... Being a lefty myself if he was on his back I'd have the knife in my left hand starting from the right side and blood is there... what if with what little strength he has left he's reaching up to try and stop her and not her holding his arm up there? Weird that she said on the stand we don't know that he's dead in that picture, he might of been dying.... she would know....

On an unrelated side note:
Last night I was reading some of the comments on MyDeathSpace and was surprised to learn that many seem to be of the impression that the jury is probably made up of very conservative, church going Mormons. I highly doubt that, this is why.

Mesa, AZ was originally a Mormon settlement and still has a strong Mormon presence. However, the city of Mesa (part of Phoenix suburban sprawl) has rapidly grown over the years to a population of 450,000. The growth in Mesa, as well as the entire Valley of the Sun is due to the influx of people moving here for jobs, retirement, weather, etc. The predominant religion here in Maricopa County is Catholic/Protestant and only 13% Mormon (Maricopa County Religion Statistics Profile, 2011) The trial is being held in downtown Phoenix (city of 3.2 million), not in Mesa. For these reasons I highly doubt the jury is made up of a bunch of devout Mormons. Just sharing...

On FB they brought up the woman that's baby was shot by the 2 teens and how she had him cremated the next day and gave his stuff away and that this is hinky... She already lost her 18 yo son to murder so she might be numb... But don't some religions require you to cremate within 24 hours and stuff like that? I know some of you read over there so I brought it up... I don't have a FB but log into my daughters so I can see what's going on and kills me not to post sometimes... lol

We tend to get stuck in the thought process that he was face down and she pulled his head back to slit the throat. He would have been very weak at that point and there is no reason I can see that would preclude it from having happened just the way you just suggested.

I was a little taken back when I saw how excited JA was to see her abuse expert witness take the stand.
I'm afraid they are going to try and pull a bombshell out of their butts. Then again JA seems like shed want to believe her lawyers, who are probably encouraging her to stay positive.

But everything is going to be- again- Jodi's self reporting so if they already don't believe her, how could it help? I just know I'll be very relived when this witness is over with. She can't be the hot mess of mistakes that Samuels was.

And if the dog of Jody's "ran away", I'm betting she killed the poor thing. I don't believe for a second she admits fully to any horrible thing she has ever done. Sociopaths never give up info like that unless the real story is 10X worse. No way.
