She is predominantly working with gays/lesbians/transgenders, etc..
Especially in SoCal.
And the children brought into or conceived during these relationships.

partner is preferred usage in academic circles because it covers people who are living together, dating in a LTR etc... also. it's standard usage in Europe also. Assuming people are going to be married excludes waaay too many people these days.

Ever notice her teeth? They have always bothered me---I hate them. The teeth on each side, to the sides of the front upper teeth? They are really unattractive---kind of pointed, like fangs.
