They do not know HALF of what we know. In fact, WE only know HALF of what Juan Martinez knows.
She's never getting out. I'm okay with that.
Yes, all is done not to show anything that could be prejudicial to the defendant outside the crime even if it's real. So it's not surprising if this helps to go "hung".

Unfortunately, that's not the case if she's given life. The jurors have no control or assurance that she will be in prison for life. The judge could give her life with parole. I couldn't accept that. There is no doubt in my mind that IF she got paroled she would leave more destruction in her wake.

I agree with you 18th. It freaks me out the way she sits for these interviews and obviously enjoys sparring with the reporters. It's all a game and she feels like she is winning. The rest of the world just has to figure out what the game is at the time. When asked if she is concerned about getting death penalty, the answer was not really. She feels like appeals will go on for years and if it happens at all, its years away. What an empty vessel. Also, apparently last night on HLN Chris Hughes was on and said that he is not married to the death penalty, even though she deserves it. He wants her to have the death row lifestyle. That is exactly how I feel.
Me too, Tess. If she just gets life, prison is NOT as austere and punitive as it will be if she's on death row. Sorry, but that is not good enough for me...
Indeed 18th century, she is a danger to all, even reporters, I totally though she was going to snap on the Good Morning America reporter "the hater" as she described him. She probably thought about it but their where to many people and security there. But he's on her "hate" list for sure. She is a danger to society, to prisoners and to those working in the corrections system.

I saw that, I'm praying they come to a decision today and that it's the right one IMO DP. I hope that the ones that couldn't agree to sentence her to death, got some clarity last night at their homes when they could think about by themselves and just remembered what she did

But Darryl Brewer also lies to US and to the jury. He was resistant when Juan questioned him about the gas cans - had he been told she was going to Mesa - he reluctantly, and in a hushed tone, admitted "yes"
And when Juan was asking him about did he remember Jodi returning to his home to bring something back. Darryl Brewer was smart and savvy enough to avoid "opening the door" to getting that damn DVD remote information out. Darryl knew. He lied.
IF he had acknowledged the remote, just merely acknowledging it, Juan could have asked "how did your remote get into her car?"
So f'k him, too.
Okay? He's a sick-ass bastard.
If any of those jurors believe Jodi used Travis' gun, and only found the pre-med due to the deliberate act of slicing his head off, then those may well be the jurors who don't find death for her.
They could be thinking, well yeah, it was pre-med and cruel, but Travis might have attacked her and she was just trying to protect herself with HIS gun.

Exactly! I know I was really shocked when she referred to Ryan Owens as a "hater". Who in the world who is 32 years old, convicted of first degree murder, and facing a possible death sentence talks like that, or uses the word "hater"??? It was creepy! She sounds more like a 13 year old bully on a playground!
NO normal adult talks that way! She is also extremely rageful and vengeful. I can see that that hasn't changed at all. She could and would easily explode in certain circumstances.

The rules are such that, if followed, will not put you in compromising positions. There are many inservice classes on inmates and their wily ways.
I happen to know a handful of prison guards. Two of them are psychopaths themselves.
Psychopaths love control - so you find them, often, in positions of control. Jodi is f'ked either way you slice it.
LOL oh my Mari. Remind me to walk the straight and narrow. I wouldn't last 10 minutes being locked up behind the bars.

Right, hater is a word used by teens, but I guess in a way due to her immaturity she still acts like a teen, except for her vocabulary . It totally creeped me out when she said that to him, I truly thought she was going to snap...but she couldn't do that as witnesses were there. She definitely has the ability to completely loose her temper and physically attack someone that says something she doesn't want to here, making her a danger to everyone that has contact with her. I don't know she has borderline personality, maybe so, but for sure she is a sociopath and psychopath.

If you guys watch the interview that Darryl gave a few days ago, he out and out lied and said she DID NOT TELL HIM SHE WAS GOING TO MESA! I heard that and I couldn't believe it. I thought, wth?? I thought I had misunderstood the court testimony.
Go back and listen to his interview the other day---He says he didn't know she was going to Mesa!
That did it for me. I know the guy is just living in a dream world, looking back on his relationship with Jodi with rose colored glasses on. There was even an interview a little while ago with a chef at the restaurant they both worked at and he said they were both liars!!!! (Wish I could find that again).
Jodi was using Darryl just like she did everyone.
He's definitely lying when he sits there and says she was a totally different person before meeting Travis---BS!!!
Jodi was creepy, controlling, stalking, and a liar as far back at the relationship with Bobby at age 17. She was by all accounts a manipulator then. I don't know what sick agenda Darryl has, but he's definitely a lying liar who lies.

Exactly. She thinks people want the interviews because we believe in this domestic violence victimhood game.
No, we like to be fascinated by psychopaths. We love to hear her use her big words wrong.
They asked about her fan mail - she said she had hundreds of post-cards - she then said "I don't think its even logistically possible to respond to all of them"
Logistically possible???
um, no - Jodi, that word doesn't fit. But thanks again for the laughs.

yeah, we'd never survive
One of the guys I know, haven known him for about 27 years or so - he THRIVES on his job - BRAGS about the abuse and schitt-games he plays on the prisoners.
EVERY single time I have seen him, over the years, since he got that job - he has STORIES of his sickness. A lot of the guys would laugh and pat him on the back - hats off to you kinda thing.
But I was sick about it. How can you enjoy torturing someone.
I knew him from high school - best buds with my ex - kids all grew up together - see him at BBQs and whatnot.
He's not my friend. Although if we spoke of one another to someone else we'd say we were friends for like 30 years.

Oli!
D-day! YES! Please!
I keep hoping the jury took notice of the Alexander's reaction to their impasse yesterday. Keep hoping that will give 'em the motivation they need to ensure that they carry this through for Travis & family. I'm optimistic. From this vantage point, am figuring they just need some time to sort out their own emotions from the facts here.
After D-day (fingers crossed- TODAY) they can just soak up all the 'prejudicial' evidence they haven't been privy to to offset any guilt they might feel about imposing dp on this tee shirt pimping monster.
18: Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall when they finally see all this- the interviews & other evidence? Mmmm. I just can't see how her smug evilness wouldn't erase any molecule of doubt they might've been holding onto (about imposing dp).
Like Yoda-Mari68 says, I'll accept whatever they decide...If only because there's not a thing I can do to change it.

I can't stand this up and down crap I feel.
I refuse to get all butt-hurt over this woman. She doesn't win. She won't win.
She loses. Everyone else will be happy - living a good life - not selling Survivor tee-shirts, not recycling garbage truck size loads of milk cartons, not teaching ABC's to other murderers, not playing sign-language games.
I will be enjoying my family.
